Crimson Romance
Elaine's heart skipped a beat as David knelt before her, holding a glittering ring in his outstretched hand. It was a moment she had dreamed of for years, but now that it was happening, she found herself lost for words. Her mind was racing with a million thoughts, and tears began to well up in her eyes as she gazed at the man she loved. As she struggled to find her voice, David's nerves began to show. He shifted his weight awkwardly from one knee to the other, feeling the pins and needles creeping up his legs. "Hon, my knees are starting to feel numb," he said, trying to mask his anxiety. "Can I hear your response right now?" Elaine smiled through her tears, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. She took a deep breath and looked deep into David's eyes. "Yes, David," she said softly, "I will marry you." Filled with happiness, David hugged Elaine and spun her. He knows he won’t regret his decision to be with this woman and build a family with her. As a detective, David's job had taken him all over the world, and he knew how hard it was to find time for his relationships. But after years of chasing criminals and solving mysteries, he realized that there was something more important in life - building a family with the woman he loved. So, as he made his way back to his hometown, David made a big decision. He was going to quit his job and focus on the business he had started – a clothing line that he and Elaine had always dreamed of owning. It was a risk, but he knew that it was the right thing to do if he wanted to create a future with his soon-to-be wife. The days flew by in a flurry of activity as David and his girlfriend worked tirelessly to prepare for their wedding and build their clothing business. As they worked side by side, David and Elaine grew closer than ever. They talked about their hopes and dreams for the future, sharing their plans and ideas. They laughed, they cried, and they supported each other through the ups and downs of building a business. Until finally, the moment they are waiting for—their wedding day. As Elaine walked down the aisle, her heart beating fast, she couldn't believe that this moment had finally arrived. She looked up and saw David waiting for her at the altar, his eyes filled with love and adoration. The room was filled with butterflies and flowers, and the bride looked even more stunning as she made her way toward her groom. David's heart was pounding in his chest as he watched her approach, his mind filled with the memories of their journey together. It was a beautiful moment as they stood there, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, ready to exchange their vows. The pastor spoke solemnly, reminding them of the commitment they were about to make and the responsibilities that came with it. As they repeated their vows to each other, they could feel their love growing stronger with each passing moment. They were committed to loving and cherishing one another until death separated them, in good times and bad, for better or for worse. Knowing they were seeing the start of a lovely new chapter in their friends' lives, the guests watched on with delight and gladness. They knew they were prepared to tackle life's problems together as they exchanged rings and sealed their marriage with a kiss. As they walked down the aisle, hand in hand, they could feel the love and support of their friends and family surrounding them. They both had tears of joy in their eyes, knowing that they had found their perfect match and were starting a new journey together. As they made their way to the reception, they were greeted with cheers and applause. The room was filled with laughter and happiness as they celebrated their union. They danced and celebrated all night long, feeling grateful and blessed for each other and for the love that they had found. At that moment, nothing else mattered. They were both filled with happiness and contentment, knowing that they had found the one person they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. They knew that their love would only grow stronger with time, and they couldn't wait to see what the future held for them. "I love you," said David.  "I love you more," Elaine responded. Right after the day of the wedding, David surprised his now-wife Elaine with the house he bought. Even before he plans to ask for the woman's hand, he is already preparing for their future. "You bought this?" was the only word Elaine could utter because of awe. She never thought that David had been preparing ahead. She was expecting to buy a house later since their business is still trying to climb up the market. But seeing this makes him love the man more. She's with the right person. God gave him a responsible and goal-oriented man. David never fails to give her surprises. "You are so good to be true. You know that?" she said. "Because you are too good for me, that's why," David sweetly replied. They tour around the house. There is nothing to fix or add because David had already done it. It was just them who needs to settle. So, that same day it was their first day in their new house. It's a two-story building with a modern interior just like she liked. There's also a garden and a pool in the backyard. "This is beautiful," she commented. "All for you, hon. You deserve the best." David replied and gently grabbed her for a kiss. It was so gentle and pure that she couldn't help but respond. His hands moved down her body, up and down, until they landed on her waist and gripped it. The kiss grew hotter, she felt carried, but she was too preoccupied to notice where they were going. She let him do it while she was drowning in his kisses, and she didn't realize they were already on top of the bed. David's kisses reached her neck and chest, causing her to moan his name. "David," she muttered under her breath, writhing in the pleasure her husband was giving her. "I love you," he said, and then something happened that only the two of them knew about. "You tired?" Elaine shook her head and hugged David. She likes feeling his body; she likes how his skin touches under the blanket. "I'm hungry," she told him. "Alright, I'll cook." David got up from bed. "What do you want?" "Anything," she lazily answered. Her husband was gone for a few minutes to prepare dinner. Elaine couldn't sleep any longer, so she decided to take a shower. She felt some discomfort as a result of what they did, but it was manageable. The hot shower helps to relieve the pain. She simply dressed herself and followed David to the kitchen. Her stomach growled as the smell of adobo lingered on her nose. They haven't had any because they eat each other. That thought made her blush; when did her mind become so filthy? She shrugged it off and went to see her busy husband. He appeared to be serious about what he was doing and he didn’t notice her arrival. To get his attention, she hugged him from behind. "Smells good," she even said. David kisses her on the cheek and asks, "The meal or me?" He kidded then resumes cooking. "Hmm... let me think." She even holds her chin, making it appear as though she is debating what to say in response to his query. "Both!" Her eyes sparkle like a child who just received a candy box. He grinned at how adorable his wife was. Let's eat, honey, go take your seat.         As the two sat down to eat, they began to consume their food in silence, taking the time to fully savor each bite and appreciate the moment they were sharing. They both started eating. No one spoke. Just savoring both the food and the moment. It is normal for them to stay silent while eating and just talk after. It was a mutual understanding, as well as the fact that neither of them was a wordy person. That could be one of the reasons their relationship has progressed this far. Elaine silently hopes for a more robust connection with David, even though they have spent a considerable amount of time together, married life presents its unique challenges. They are aware that there is much more to uncover about each other, but they will remain steadfast in their belief that their love will be their weapon in their journey together, no matter what life may throw their way. Love is crimson, deep and passionate—just like how they are with each other. As long as their love for one another is strong, nothing can go wrong.
