"Peace na tayo!" She declared while giggling as Ardy tickled her.

A single tear fell from her eye as she laughed. Hindi siya makapaniwalang tumatawa siya ng ganito kalakas.

Simula pagkabata ay malungkutin na siya. Dala ito ng sitwasyon na kinalakihan niya.

Kahit tumatawa man siya kapag kasama ang mga kaibigan, ito ay pagpapanggap lamang dahil ayaw niyang mag-alala ang mga ito sa kaniya.

Huminto si Ardy nang makitang tumatawa siya ngunit may luha ang kaniyang mga mata.

Pinunasan niya ang pumatak na luha sa kaniyang mata at nag-alibi. " Napapaluha na ako sa sobrang tawa dahil sa'yo!" Kunwari ang sinisisi niya si Gerard.

Ardy meaningfully smiled at her. He reached out for her hand her and led her to a nearby seat.

"Kaya pa?" he asked.

"Oo naman--" pagsisinungaling niya.

Nagpatuloy sila sa pagkuwentuhan. Naibahagi ni Ardy ang frustration nito sa magulang na walang oras noong kabataan nito, kung kaya't napagdesisyonan nitong mag-aral na lamang sa ibang bansa. Sa Dalhousie University ito nagaral ng Architecture.

Ikinuwento din nito na binalak nitong mag-propose sa long time girlfriend na si Bianca Sobel. Ibinahagi nito sa kanya na high school sweetheart nito si Bianca.

He shared that his mind was made up then that he and Bianca were destined to be together for the rest of their lives. Kaya naman nung araw na magpo-propose na ito at nahuli nitong may kasamang iba si Bianca ay parang gumuho ang mundo ni Gerard.

Nahuli nito si Bianca at ang Canadian boyfriend sa akto. Dahil sa galit ay nagdilim ang paningin nito at halos mapatay ang lalaking Canadian.

"Bianca said she realized that it was not enough to have Mr. Perfect. She said I was too perfect for her.” Gerard said with disbelief. “She realized that perfect was boring!" He said with acerbity. "Sa galit ko, I went to the rest room and flushed the engagement ring!"

"Naku! Sayang!" Panghihinayang niya atang. "For sure mahal yun! Sana binenta mo na lang at dinonate sa bahay ampunan yung pera, nakatulong ka pa. " suhestyon niya kahit lasing na.

Napangiti si Gerard sa kanya.  He seemed to be contemplating about what she said.

"You know, pareho tayo ng inisip. Yan din ang naisip ko kaya guess what I did?" He said with a naughty grin on his face.

"Anong ginawa mo?” lumapit siya kay Gerard. She was curious and eager to know what happened to the engagement ring with the hope that he did not give it to another girl.

"Na-realize ko yun, kaya kinuha ko ung singsing habang umiikot ang tubig sa toilet bowl saka tinago ko."

Na-imagine niya kung paano hinabol ni Gerard ang singsing sa toilet bowl.

"Yuck!" Tili niya na nandidiri habang ini-imagine niya kung paano kinuha ni Gerard ang singsing sa toilet bowl.

"Malinis naman yung comfort room. Well cleaned yun ng mga maids." Defensive na sagot ni Gerard.

Napatawa siya. Hindi na niya naisip na baka mapikon sa kanya ang binata. Batid niya na kahit ma-offend niya ito ay hindi siya nito magagawang saktan katulad ng sinasapit niya sa ama-amahan.

She noticed that Gerard started to laugh with her. Then, he approached her, and held her at the nape.

She could not remember how, but she realized that they were already kissing.  Nang mapagtanto niya iyon ay nanlaki ang kaniyang mga mata at nag-panic. But she did not do stop him. Instead, she tried to calm down. She even closed her eyes and gave him the freedom to  lead her.

She was unsure why she just submitted and allowed him to take control.

Ang alam lang niya ay bago sa kaniya ang pakiramdam na ito.

For the first time in her life, she was letting a man get close to her and allowed herself feel that tingling sensation of his touch on her arms and that certain rush and excitement that came with as she felt his gentle lips on hers.

It seemed he knew what he was doing, and all she had to do was trust him. She wanted to trust him. She wanted to feel everything she could feel with a man she could trust.

Shayla slowly copied the way Gerard was caressing her lips with his own, before they stopped with heaving chests.

She felt out of breath as her heartbeat fast.  Hinawakan niya ang dibdib sa sobrang bilis ng t***k nito.

Slowly, he bent his head a little, and put his forehead on hers as he closed his eyes. His breath sweetly and softly touched her skin. It seemed to her that he was about to kiss her again.  But he caressed her cheek instead, and his lips traveled to her earlobe, gently down to her neck, then returned to her lips.

His kisses were tender and gentle.  Walang pilitan.  It comforted her to know she was not being forced to do something she did not want.  He gave her a choice if she wanted to kiss back.

Tila nawala na siya sa sarili at sumunod na lang sa ginagawa sa kanya ni Gerard.

He stopped kissing her and scooped her up. He brought her to the room where they first met and she did not protest.  Instead, she hooked her arm around his neck and tried to reach for his lips to kiss some more, which he obliged as he carried her.

As he lay her on the bed, she felt Gerard lift her shirt up, exposing her bosom. It felt like a blur to her how she was already naked in front him. All she could focus on was watching him unabashedly lifted his shirt up.

Napansin niyang nagsa-struggle ito sa pagbukas ng pantalon kung kaya't nahulog ito sa kama.

"Sign ba ito na hanggang dito muna tayo?"  he asked as he stood up from the floor.

"H-hindi ko alam..." pag amin niya.

Saglit silang natahimik. Nakalimutan niyang wala siyag saplot sa katawan, at nakahantad ito kay Gerard.

He gulped as he looked at her.

Gerard sat beside her. He kissed her again, tentatively deepening the kiss, as he groped her behind to bring her closer as she responded.

She felt elated. Tila tumigil ang mundo habang pinagsasaluhan nila ang nakaka-gayumang halik na iyon.

Ganito pala ang halik. Gugustuhin mong ulit ulitin. Naisip niya.

She welcomed the feeling of desiring a man and being desired back. She welcomed the sensation of his touch that sent electric current through her body, and a weird slow gush of liquid between her legs flowed out.

It felt so good and she savored it. She was about to go to euphoria, but she noticed that he was still struggling to unzip his pants. Boldly, she initiated to reach for his pants and carefully, gently unbuttoned and unzipped it. She saw his manhood sprang free and quickly checked her emotion about seeing a man's private part.

Wala siyang naramdamang takot. Nakakapagtaka man, she looked forward to discovering him, his body, and everything about him. She watched him remove his pants down.

Naalala niya kung ano ang proseso ng pagtatalik at nakaramdam siya ng pag-aalala.

Gerard felt the gorgeous woman under him tensed as he positioned himself in between her legs. He wondered why. And started to be unsure if she wanted to proceed.

She would be the first woman he would make out with, after Bianca. Gerard considered the intimacy he had with Bianca as something sacred for him, but he realized it was never enough for Bianca. Inakala pa naman ni Gerard na pang habang buhay na sila ng dating kasintahan.

He tried to diminish Bianca in his head. The thought of Bianca was messing with his head. He knew that if he continued to think about her, at this moment, it would just spoil this intimacy he was about to share with this woman he was with now.

Without any further ado, he entered her. Napakapit ng mahigpit sa kaniya ang dalaga at impit na napaiyak. He had the shock of his life when he felt her tight. Too tight. He instantly knew that she was a virgin. Nanlumo siya sa nalaman.

It could have been a beautiful experience for her if only he had been careful and gentle with her. He wanted to back out and pull away from her, but she stopped him. He felt her try to adjust beneath him, to accommodate him.

Napapikit siya sa sagot nito. He felt guilty that he could not muster the strength to resist having her, but he was also relieved that she wanted to continue, because something inside him was telling him he wanted to continue, too.

He just could not figure out where that need was coming from, but he was sure the desire was persistent. He knew that if he could not have her, be with her now, it was going to take so long time, like a thousand years, before he could have this feeling again.

He gazed at her innocent and beautiful face, down to her smooth neck, to her bare chest, and stayed on her round, creamy and ripe bosom as his hand explored her moist folds, teasing, caressing, massaging her that made her moan.

Mariing pinikit ng dalaga ang mga mata nito at napakagat labi. It seemed she was shy to make a sound. He felt her shudder and slightly arched her back with the sensation his fingers and tongue brought her.

He wanted to make up to her for the pain he caused her a while back. This time, he wanted to make sure she was ready for him before he proceeded to move deeper inside her.

As he did, he felt a sweet, loving, comforting, exciting emotion, which he never felt before.   He knew he should not seek out that feeling from someone else. But being broken, this intimate moment they were sharing felt like magical healing balm to his wound.

He knew that this was just a one-night stand, but he had a selfish wish that she would remember this special night for a very, very, very long time with him.

Just thinking about them not seeing each other after this night sent him thinking that she would have the license now to try it with another guy. And jealousy immediately struck him. 

It seemed she understood how he was feeling, and somehow initiated and gently touched him everywhere, as if she was trying to memorize every inch of him.

It seemed like she was submitting to him, telling him that she wouldn't forget this special moment they were sharing.

He found it cute how innocent she was as she exposed her feelings to him, by trying to give him pleasure, too.

His thrust became faster and harder that her head got bumped on the headboard of the bed.

"I'm sorry," he uttered as he kept ramming her the way he imagined earlier.

Though he did not bother to check if he was giving her pleasure, his partner's raw emotion and whimpers were his sign that she was reaching her peak too, until he came.

Saglit silang hindi nakakibo. Alam niyang siya lamang ang nakatapos, ngunit hindi man lang nagreklamo ang kaniyang kasama.

He knows how to satisfy a woman. Kabisado na niya ito dahil kay Bianca. Noong nagu-umpisa pa lang sila ni Bianca ay ipinapaalam na ni Bianca kung ano ang gusto nito at hindi. Naging tapat sila sa isa't isa. Marahil ay kaya sila tumagal ng sampung taon. They had open communication, until everything changed when he started to be busy at school because he was already reviewing for his board exam.

Inisip niya kung siya ba ang nagkulang. Sa pagkakaalala niya, ipinaliwanag niya kay Bianca na kailangan niya husayan at magpokus sa pag-aaral para sa kinabukasan nilang dalawa.

Hindi na nga niya ito inasahan na magpokus din sa pag-aaral dahil mas gusto nito mag-party kasama ang mga kaibigan. Siya na nga ang gumagawa ng assignments at projects nito sa business management course. Kung tutuusin ay parang nag-double course siya noon. He did everything for Bianca. And yet, she found him boring.

She was never satisfied. He bitterly thought.

Napatigil siya sa pag-iisip nang maramdaman na sinubok ng dalaga na iusod siya. Duon lang niya napansin na nakadagan pa din siya dito. Dahan dahan ay umusod siya at kinumutan silang dalawa.

Napansin niyang mabagal ang pagkilos ng kasama. Marahil ay napagod niya ito, dagdagan pang sore ito sa naganap.

Tumagilid ang dalaga patalikod sa kaniya habang mahimbing na natulog.  He gently pulled her closer in a spoon position.

Pinagmasdan niya itong mahimbing na natulog sa kaniyang tabi at napangiti siya. Marahan niyang hinaplos ang ulo nito at bahagyang sinalat ang parte kung saan ito naumpog kanina.

He was thankful that she did not have a bump on her head with what happened. Otherwise, he would feel even more guilty how rough he had been on their first intimacy.

Mula sa likod ay hinalikan niya ang babaeng kasama. Tahimik naman na tumugon ito sa kanya. Na-engganyo siyang makipagniig sa ganoong puwesto. There was a sense of intimacy in the way she allowed him to take control.

Kinabukasan ay nagising si Gerard sa katok sa kaniyang pintuan. It was his cousin Percival. Pinilit niyang bumangon ng kama, kahit masakit pa ang kaniyang ulo.

"Coming!" He grunted as Percival continued to knock on his door. He searched for his clothes and found his pants.

Susuutin na niya ito nang mapansin niya ang pagbagsak ng isang hindi pa nagamit na condom. He remembered putting it in the pocket of his pants before he left Canada.

Nagmadali niyang sinuot ang kaniyang pantalon at pinagbuksan ang pinsan. Tinanong nito kung nakita daw ba niya ang kaibigan ni Rori na kasama ng mga ito kahapon.  Nagkibit balikat lamang siya habang inaantok at wala pa wisyo.

Narinig pa niyang sinabi ni Rori mula sa ground floor na nasa terminal na daw ng bus ang kaibigan ng mga ito.

"O, paano, insan? Dito ka na lang ba magpapasundo kina Ninong Gerry at Ninang Mary?" tanong ni Percival sa kaniya.

Muli siyang nagkibit balikat. He was undecided.  Given his state right now, he just wanted to be alone.

Nagpaalam si Percival sa kaniya na pupuntahan na raw ng mga ito ang kaibigan ng nobya.

"Ingat," sambit lang niya, bago nagsara ng pinto at mabagal na naglakad patungo sa bathroom.

Gerard removed his pants again, and threw it in the laundry basket, before stepping inside the shower for a warm bath. Unti unti ay nai-invigorate na muli ang kaniyang katawan.

Unti unti din siyang nagkakaroon ng alaala kung ano ang naganap kagabi.

He had a one-night stand with Percival and Rori's friend.

Mabilis siyang nagbanlaw nang sarili at nagbalot ng tuwalya. Tinungo niya ang magulong kama. He wanted to check where he placed his used condom, but he could not find one. Then he remembered the condom that fell off from the pocket of his pants.

It was his only condom since he did not plan to get laid last night. But it happened.

Binalikan niya ang hindi pa gamit na foil ng condom at napa-upo sa kama.

He looked around the bed, hoping to find one there, but he noticed blood stain on the white bed sheet, instead. It only confirmed one thing. Since his partner was a virgin, there was a probability she did not need to take contraceptive pills.

"s**t!" Gerard grunted. He realized had unprotected s*x.
