Chapter 1 - First Encounter
“This woman is stupid as f**k,” Andres Yun muttered as he slowly opened the gate. He just disarmed the security locks and there were even no guard dogs. He even saluted the CCTV cameras as he adjusted the mask he wore.
He wouldn’t have done this if he had been patient enough to wait for the results from the investigators that he hired. He didn’t know why he came to this decision to personally come to the enemy’s abode. He sighed as he looked for ways to go inside the villa, cursing in his mind how this woman was pathetic and why he was doing this in the first place.
As far as he knew, the Yun and the Strong were mortal enemies. It was always ingrained in his mind that he should never cross paths nor glance at a Strong. That proved to be difficult because they lived in the same city and they were business rivals.
The rumors surrounded him since he was a kid was that a Yun member impregnated someone from the Strong three generations back. The affair was so messy that it gave embarrassment to the Strong family that pushed the pregnant woman to take her own life.
Frankly speaking, he never really cared about the issues between the two families. He was even thrilled everytime the Yun and the Strong had business rivalries. Being the head of the Yun now, the competition motivated him to make his company stronger.
But the lady of the Strong stole something from the Yuns.
“f**k you, Zoey!” He squinted his eyes as he adjusted his sight in the darkness. His steps were so silent that even the quietest animal could not sense it. His heart thumped in anger as his hand opened a room and found his enemy sleeping so soundly.
The words of his dying father rang in his head. He should take the diary that Zoey stole from them. It contained the secret recipes for their soda drinks. The last time he saw the diary, it was written in codes and nobody from the team was able to decipher it yet. He was not even sure if the secret recipes were written there but his father was adamant and made him promise to retrieve what was theirs.
Then the Strongs released a new flavor of soda drinks months after the diary was stolen.
According to his father, the flavor was his late grand-uncle’s favorite. It was more than a coincidence. This distressed his sick father so much that he relented to avenge the Yun family.
And now, he felt that being the only son of the main family of Yun, he would be the one to carry the task of revenge towards the only daughter and head of the Strong family.
He placed his hand on his neck and massaged the sore spot gently. He was furious because he never expected that he would find his enemy here. The information that he got was Zoey Strong was out of the country and would be back next month. This made him confident to barge in her space, a villa in the middle of nowhere.
Why the f**k was she here right now? He adjusted the mask on his face when he felt something hit his head. He stumbled a little bit and glared at the source.
“Who are you?” Her chest heaved as she picked another figurine to throw at him.
Before he could aim at him, he jumped on her, making her create little choking sounds. “Stay still,” his breath was also heavy.
“Get off.” She squirmed but he held her tightly.
His head was getting heavier, and he felt that she was also starting to cease moving. “Good girl.” Those were the words that he remembered saying before he passed out.
**
Was she having a lucid dream?
Every part of her body tingled and she felt all her senses were explored. Goodness! She should just ask for therapy sessions now because she felt she was crazy.
Ever since her parents died in the plane crash last year, Zoey felt that she was floating - just existing. Aside from the numbness she felt, there was this new emotion that seemed to bloom from her innermost being: longing. She did not even know what she longed for at this point.
The heat engulfing her was thawing her cold soul. She found herself needing this kind of consolation or whatever it was. “More…” she whispered a few times.
She heard a chuckle.
Her eyelids fluttered softly and tried to sink in if this was a dream or reality or both.
“What do you want?” a whisper caressed her ears.
“Are you real or are you a pigment of my imagination?” she whispered back.
“Whatever the lady wants.” The timbre of his voice was velvety and tickled her auditory senses.
Why was his voice familiar? She bit her bottom lip before she replied, “I’m lonely.”
“Ah.” The only word he uttered before he gave her a peck on the tip of her nose.
Her breathing was heavy, her heart wanted to jump from her chest, and her body was clamoring for more. She - she was the one who clung to him as he planted small kisses on her neck. She - she was the one who guided him on where to touch her.
“There…” she gasped when she felt her lips grazing her breasts. “Harder…” she moaned when he tugged the rosy tips.
She felt that she was drunk by her own lust and by his administration. She spread her legs to give him more space for exploration. And when he really did explore, she tugged his head - almost taking off the mask - while she drowned in ecstasy.
For the first time in many months, Zoey felt that she was alive. Her skin tingled as his lips wandered on her body. She heard his dirty talks, she smelled their mixed scents, and she tasted the saltiness of his skin. She felt she was ascending somewhere and when he licked the right spot, it seemed that wings came out of her body to guide her to come down.
Then silence.
And sadness.
Most of all, longing.
Her heart was heavy from various emotions taking place in that final moment. Before rationality took over, she glanced at the masked man with tears in her eyes. “If this is a dream.. If this stops the longing and loneliness.. Will you…will you come back?”
He stared at the droplets that fell from her eyes. “Yes.”
“When?” She choked her tears.
He wiped the silver drops. “Tomorrow night.”
