I’m still bothered about Luis’ question yesterday night. Hindi ko siya sinagot. Well, wala naman akong gusto kay Jetro pero ayaw ko lang talagang sumagot.

Pagdating ko sa school, hinatid muna ako nina kuya para makasiguro na walang makakalapit saken. I have to avoid people which is weird.

“Amber can I talk to Kate?” she crossed her arms.

“Are you going to invite her in our house? If yes well hindi na ako papayag Sky.”

“No, gusto ko lang makipag-usap,” sa totoo lang, namiss ko si Kate. Matagal na rin kaming hindi nag-usap. Sabi daw ni Amber halos 1 week na daw akong hindi gumigising pagkatapos ng nangyari noon. Bwiset kasi ang pusa ni Jetro.

“No,” tipid niyang sagot. Ang boring wala pa si Jetro. Siya lang kasi ang nakakausap ko.

I remember, Amber wants to see Jetro’s face and she will allow me to hang out with him if he did that. After a few minutes, Jetro came.

“He’s here. Tell him to take his mask off and convince me to make myself trust him,” Amber said and I nodded.

“Hi, can I talk to you outside?” tanong ko at una pa siyang lumabas kaya lumabas din ako.

“Can Amber see your face? Don’t worry, hindi naman niya isasabi sa iba na pinakita mo yung mukha mo sa kaniya kasi mahiyain yan,” it took him a while to answer me.

“Yes,” he said yes! I never thought he would say yes.

“Are you sure?” he nodded.

We both agreed na sa tanghali nalang kami mag-usap ulit since dumating na ang teacher namin...

Nothing special happened today, just like yesterday, only a boring class happened. Lunch time na at pumunta na kami sa cafeteria doon sa pinakadulo para walang makakita sa amin.

“Can I also invite my brothers? They think you’re really cool,” tumawa ako nang mahina nang makita ko ang reaksyon niya.

Hindi na ako naghintay ng sagot dahil alam kong ok lang para sa kaniya since magkaibigan naman sila according to my kuya. I texted kuya Syl and Sol.

“What’s up Aj,” said kuya Syl. I just noticed, almost magkapareho lang ng height sina kuya at Jetro, mas matangkad lang ng konti sina kuya.

“What are y’all up to?” kuya Sol asked.

“Aj face reveal,” my brothers even smiled more.

“Gagi pare baka ang gwapo ni Aj tapos magiging bakla ako,” kuya Syl sarcastically said and Jetro laughed. Tahimik lang si Amber sa gilid ko waiting for Jetro to finally take his mask off.

Please don’t tell me Jetro likes boy.

“Ikaw talaga kuya,” aniko.

“By the way, why do you wear mask everywhere?” kuya Sol asked.

“I’ll tell you later,” Jetro answered.

“Ay ngayon na please or let’s go to your house! Let’s do what we did before, nag-cutting tayo,” I suggested. I wonder why teachers didn’t get mad at us nong pinapunta ako sa bahay nina Jetro.

“I can wait,” Amber said. Oh, Amber doesn’t want that pala. Ayaw niyang lumabag sa kahit anumang rules ng school, role model eh, valedictorian.

“Mamaya nalang Amber. Payag ka ba Aj na pupunta kami sa bahay niyo after dismissal?” pakapalan to ng mukha girl. I really want Amber to see that he’s not trying to do anything bad to me. I want her to see how rich Jetro is and how kind his dad is.

Honestly, Jetro looks like a poor guy if you didn’t see him with his BMW car. His food is not as expensive as ours, just a normal egg and hotdog. Saamin naman, puro gulay, prutas and juice made by our personal chef which is also known worldwide. Si tito Israel, we’re not related to each other but I call him tito because he wants me to.

Nasaan kaya ang mom ni Jetro? I didn’t saw his mom before.

“Alright,” he said. What made him not weird today? He’s just agreeing with everything I say. I also didn’t thought that he would invite Amber and my brothers to his house. I thought he’s a really private-type person.

After dismissal, nagmadali akong tawagin si kuya dahil excited na ako. Amber will finally allow Jetro to be my friend pagkatapos nito. I’m sure she’ll allow me na.

Sa sasakyan ni Jetro kami sumakay ni Amber.

We’re so close to be bestfriends, Jetro. I will make you my bestfriend.

God why am I acting like I’m obsessed with him? Parang hindi na ako to.

Malayo pala ang bahay nina Jetro. Ngayon ko lang nalaman kasi noong pinapunta niya ako sa bahay nila, nag-panic at nakatulog ako dahil akala ko mamamatay na ako.

We’re finally here and they’re all surprised when they saw how big and expensive looking their mansion is.

“See? I told you, he’s richer than everyone of us combined,” sabi ko kay Amber. Seeing Jetro’s mansion made Amber speechless.

Pumasok na kami sa loob at mas lalong namangha pa sina kuya at Amber.

I noticed something. The big portrait with the 6th Salazar engraved in it is gone and his dad isn’t around.

“I still dont trust him,” napahinto ako nang sabihin yun ni Amber. Hindi kami narinig nina Jetro dahil nauna silang naglakad.

“Just wait until you see his face,” grabe talaga tong si Amber ang hirap iconvince. Marami kasi siyang reasons at iba pa, that’s why I hate intelligent people.

Pumunta na kami sa kitchen at binigyan kami ng pagkain ng mga maids. I still can’t forget how embarrassed I am because I didn’t eat their foods, puro meats kasi, bawal yun saken, may diet ako.

Before we eat, Jetro removed his mask first.
