The day even ended better.

We ate in a small local restaurant that I haven’t tried yet sa tagal ng pinamamalagi ko dito sa Palawan but it turned out to be Silas’ favorite local restaurant, in the area. I was expecting to have an awkward time with him, but althroughout the dinner he made me feel comfortable. Surprisingly I love the dishes that Silas ordered so I enjoyed a lot.

Nag apologize din sya saakin. Sabi nya dapat daw ay hindi na nya sinama si Sancha, lalo pa at alam nya na may gusto ito sakanya at malaki ang tsansa na gumawa ito na kalokohan. Napilitan lang daw sya isama ito dahil sa iyon ang napag kasunduan nila ng kanyang ina. Hindi sya papayagan ng Mommy nya na mag sama ng friends nya sa vacation house na wala silang chaperone, at para pumayag Ito ay napilitan sya na isama si Sancha kahit ayaw din ng friends ni Silas.

He ended up bringing me home and we are both at peace.

“Ang daya bakit si Cassi lang binilihan mo ng lasagnaa?!” Angal ni Azalea matapos ilapag ni Silas ang lasagna na binili nya para saakin.

“Bakit ka naman kailangan bilhan ni Kuya Silas? Si Caleigh ka ba?” Nang aasar na sabi ni Pheonix habang nag eenjoy sa pagkain nya ng paboritong Crispy Pata.

“Si Kuya Silas ka ba? I’m not even talking to you!” Naka Irap na sabi nito na ikinatawa lang ni Pheonix.

“Kuya Silas, don’t mind them. “Reed said.

Ngumisi lang si Silas at naging busy sa pag asikaso sa pag ayes ng pagkain ko. Aside from lasagna meron din syang binili na juice and orange na ngayon ay binabalatan nya para saakin.

“Ganyan ka Kuya Silas ha! Akala ko magkakakampi tayo? Na ako Ang bantay ni Cassi? I am your spy so you should treat me nicely in return-“

“Azalea, if you want lasagna, better buy now..there’s only three left.” He smirked, halatang inaasar lamg nito si Azalea.

Aasar na umismid si Azalea. Nilagay nya ang braso sa harap ng dibdib. Matapos ay ngumiti ito ng dahan dahan na para bang biglang may naisip. Kinabahan ako sa ngiti nya, mukhang may naisip itong kalokohan.

“Well..I was supposed to tell you about Leo who was trying to hit on Cassi, but forget it, moving forward I won’t update you--“

“Azalea!” Nag papanic Kong putol sa sinasabi nya.

Nanlalaki ang mata kong tinakpan ang bibig nito. Napatigil sa pag babalat ng orange si Silas at napalingon kay Azalea na para bang nakuha nito ang buong atensyon nya.

I mentally curse Azalea! Gagawa pa talaga ito ng issue! Kakabati lang namin ni Silas!

Kunot noo at madilim ang titig ni Silas Kay Azalea. Unti unti kong binaba ang kamay ko mula sa pag tayakip ng bibig ni Azalea at nag iwas ng tingin.

Napa upo din ng maayos si Reed at tiningnan si Azalea na para bang nag hihintay ng sasabihin nito. Samantalang tahimik at naka ngisi lang si Pheonix, he knows about it too since napaka daldal ni Azalea.

I am glad my other cousins are not here, if Kuya Rue is here and Kuya Thyme for sure mang aasar pa ang mga yun at lalong ma babadtrip si Silas.

“What did you say? Mariing tanong nito na ikinasinghap ko. Napapikit ako.

Azalea laughed evilly. Halatang masayang masaya at nakuha ang atensyon ni Silas.

“Secret.”

Silas jaw clenched. He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“I’ll ask our chef to cook a tray of lasagna for you before the day ends, so spill it Azalea.” He said coldly.

Palihim kong kinurot si Azalea na ikinalukot ng mukha nya, nagka tinginan kami ni Azalea at nang aasar syang ngumisi sakin.

“Sorry cous, it is the time of the month! I’m craving for lasagna!” She giggled and I badly wanted to wipe off her smile!

Para sa lasagna ilalaglag nya ako? Pwede naman syang mag pa luto sa mga kasamambahay sa villa nila!

“Bribe me more, a lasagna is not enough Kuya.” Azalea said playfully mukhang natealized din nya na masyadong mababaw ang lasagna kumpara sa impormasyon na sasabihin nya.

“Name it..I’ll give what you want.” My lips parted, tiningnan ko si Silas, he is dead serious!

“Deal!”

Nag katinginan kami ni Reed, he shook his head as if he is telling me na..I’m doomed.

Wait, bakit parang may kasalanan ako???

I took a deep breath to calm myself. I should not feel guilty,wala naman ako ginawa na masama.

”Now tell me.” Naiiling na sabi nito.

Ngumiti si Azalea at nag peace sign saakin bago nag umpisa.

This girl is a traitor, may araw din sya saakin!

“Leo is an upperclassman, kapatid ng classmate namin and he saw Cassi last time he brought his sister’s things..and now our classamate kept on giving her chocolates, food and flowers, pinabibigay daw ng kuya nya! Then yesterday he visited our room just to introduce himself, he even asked Cassi’s number.” Masiglang kwento nya. If looks can kill she’s dead with my glares!

“Iba talaga ang Ganda mo Caleign, you are a certified Carmichael!”Mabagal na pumalakpak si Pheonix na mukhang proud saakin.

Nilakihan ko sya ng mata, he should stop talking baka ma trigger pa lalo si Silas.

“What’s the surname of that assh*le?!” He asked coldly.

“Silas!” Nanlalaki ang mata kong tawag sakanya.

His dark eyes turned to me. He looks pissed.

“Did you give him your number?”

“I didn’t! Why would I give him my number?!” Defensive kong sabi na ikinatawa ni Azalea at Pheonix.

“Yeah, no one should have your number, I am your boyfriend and I don’t even have your number yet-“

“Kayo na?” Reed asked. Nanlaki ang mata ni Pheonix while Azalea squealed in happiness.

“No-“

“Yes” sabay nmin sabi ni Silas. Kumunot ang noo nya, his eyes never leaving mine.

“Did you just deny me to your cousins?” Disappointed nyang tanong.

“What do you mean?? Hindi naman talaga tayo ah!”

Marahas itong bumuntong hininga.

“Love, you said that I am your boyfriend and you are my girl in front of Sancha.” He scowled.

My jaw almost drop on the floor. I didn’t mean that, I just said that to hurt Sancha’s feelings! Sineryoso pala nya???

“I think we should go..” sabi ni Reed Kay Pheonix and Azalea na sinamg ayunan agad ng dalawa. They must have felt the tension between us.

The three of them left us in complete silence.

I cannot read Silas’ expression, all I know is that his mood is sour.

I pursed my lips as I looked away. I need to contemplate on things. Should I tell him the truth? It will surely hurt his feeling though.

“Are you saying that..you were not serious that night?” He combed his hair using his fingers. He licked his lips and looked away, he seem like he is trying to calm himself.

I swallowed hard.

“I’m sorry.” I whispered and looked at my hands that are settled above my lap.

Akala ko talaga..

Napa pikit ako, pano ko lulusutan ito?

Ramdam ko ang pag usog palapit saakin ni Silas, matapos ay hinawak nya ang mukha ko patungo sakanya, I opened my eyes and our eyes met.

Nangungusap ang mga abo nyang mata.

“You cannot do this to me Cassiopeia Everleigh..You have to be responsible and accountable with the words that left from that pretty mouth of yours.”

Napasinghap ako. His thumb touches my lips.

“You’re my girlfriend now. Whether you love me or not..I can make you love me while we are together anyway..So from now on..you are mine already my Love.”
