"YOU'RE jealous of me," Caleb smirked to Thorn. He almost slapped the wedding invitation he had sent for him. "But congratulations!"

Thorn grinned to his friend. "Thanks."

Caleb stared at him. "But are you serious? Marriage is a big word. It's risky,"

"But happy…" Thorn looked at Caleb's family. They are currently playing in the garden of the house. And they all looked so happy.

Thorn wanted to have a family like the one his friend has.

Caleb grinned at him. He looked at his family, too. His wife, Serena, is playing with his kids. It's just barely five years since his friend got married but they already have three children.

"Yes, I'm happy about my marriage and family life. But I am happy because I learn to love my wife. Do you love this girl of your choice?"

Thorn shook his head. "I don't do love, Caleb. It's more complicated than marriage."

"But a marriage without love is more complicated, Thorn."

"It depends on your partner. I believe that I have picked a good wife, Caleb. And don't worry. I learned my lesson in your experience. This time, I researched really well. Angela Lopez is an ideal wife…"

Thorn accepted his friend's comment. He is really jealous that's why he copied his married set up: he arranged his marriage.

Caleb is Thorn's close friend. They both came from elite society. Caleb is also one of the successful young businessmen in the world just like him. Caleb was just on his early forties while he is in his late thirties.

Thorn knew his friend's love story.

Caleb purchased Serena as a wife. He merged his company to his now father-in-law's company in exchange for Serena. Only the downside was Serena is not an ideal wife. Well, not until they understand and learned to love each other.

Serena was once a rebellious wife. Caleb had a very hard time before she was tamed. But it was worth it in the end. She looks so glowing now playing with their children. She looks so happy and enjoying her life, too, like her husband. Caleb is very happy with his family life.

Thorn wanted a wife like the new Serena. He needs a loving one and also one that could adore and love his future heirs. He wanted to have many children. He wanted to have a beautiful family.

And thorn believes that he had found the perfect choice in Angela Lopez.

Angela is the most beautiful bachelorette in town. He already saw her and he was attracted to her. She also came from a rich and good reputed family. Her mother is the CEO of Lopez Distillery—one of the best distillery in the world. Angela is also known to be good at joining charity events. She is the head of the Lopez Foundation.

Thorn had researched in Angela and there is just one result---she has a kind heart. She will be the best mother of his future children.

Simply, Angela is an ideal wife.

Thorn was lucky. He just signed up for a hundred million in exchange for the ownership of the distillery and also to be married to Angelique. And the company was also good so he was sure he had the best deal.

But maybe, Angelina Lopez had done her research on him and she was lucky, too. Thorn believes that he is a good businessman. Many people would agree with that. In his thirty-seven years of existence, he already owned TM Canning---one of the world's best canning company.

Thorn inherited his own company from his family. But the company only became leading when he handled it. He was the one who made it successful. Maybe, Mrs. Lopez saw his potential that's why aside from her daughter, she only entrusted the company to him.

Mrs. Lopez will still have huge shares on the company. But maybe because of her old age, she wanted someone to take over the ownership of the company. She wanted to lessen responsibility.

Caleb shuddered his shoulders. "If that's what you think. It's up to you. It's your life."

Thorn nodded. He was sure about the different kinds of marriage set-up he is going into.

Love is complicated. He had seen how his parents broke up because of love. His Mom loved his Dad so much. That's why she was devastated when she found that his Dad was not faithful. She got depressed and took her own life. She committed suicide. He loves his Mom that's why he was hurt, too. She was so weak. As of now, his Dad is already dead but the pain and memory of it are still alive on his heart.

Love is also cruel. He had loved a woman before. But in the end, she left her. He was so hurt he promise himself to never love a woman again.

But then, Thorn is not getting any younger. Even though he doesn't believe in the love of a wife and girlfriend, he still believes in the love of family. He wanted to have his own. He wanted to have children. He just needs an ideal wife.

And he already has it.

Thorn was excited. Caleb had the luck because he is also good. And it's not yet the end for him. He wanted to have the same thing, too.
