ANGELA groaned when she heard the alarm of her phone. She was not feeling well because of dysmenorrhoea. She always felt like that whenever she have menstrual period, especially in the first three days. But then, she had to get up. It was Saturday today and she have work. It was a feeding program of the Lopez Foundation in an Orphanage.             Angela went to the cabinet to prepare her clothes. She was about to enter the bathroom when Thorn woke up.             “Why are you up so early? Wait, are you going out?” He looked at the clothes she prepared.             Angela nodded. She explained about the feeding program.             “You are not going out. You are not feeling well.” Thorn’s face is serious and so his voice. He got up from bed and took her clothes.             Angela didn’t let him. She shaked her head. “I cannot back out. I’m always a volunteer. Besides, we are out of manpower today.”             “I was observing you last night. You almost cannot sleep because of your menstrual period.”             “I’m okay.” She said but after a while bit her lip. A wave of menstrual pain hit her. Her hand went under her belly. Her face whitened.             Thorn’s jaw hardened. He looks mad.             Angela calmed herself. She let out a sigh. “I’m sorry. But I really need to attend.”             Angela went again to the bathroom. She was about to close the door when Thorn opened his mouth again.             “No. I’ll attend in your behalf. You just rest today.”             She looked at him in surprise. “Are you sure?”             Thorn nodded. “I’m a business man, I am good with people. Besides, it’s not my first time to do charity works. I can also call my friends to help if the program is really out of manpower.”             Angela’s eyes widened. “Friends? You mean, Resty and---“             Thorn shooked his head. “I don’t consider him as a friend anymore. It’s a different friend I am talking about. You don’t have to worry about everything now. Go back to the bed.”             Angela’s heart warmed. Even though she doesn’t know Thorn very well, he still cared for her. She was tempted to go back to bed when she remembered something. “But I want to see the kids, too. We always do charity program in that orphanage. I am close to the kids. For sure, they will ask for me.” “There would be next time…” “I promised them last time.” “Angela, you need to rest. Let me just take care of everything.” Angela stopped. She felt a bit disturb by what Thorn said. “Let me take care of everything about you and even your child, Angela. You are an embarrassment. No one should know about this…” Angela remembered the worst line she heard on her entire life.  Because of that, Angela felt more reason to stop Thorn’s decision.   “RELAX, brother. You already found your forever girl but it seems like the lines on your forehead will also be there forever.” Caleb laughingly said at Thorn. He asked him to come and his wife Selena to the feeding program. “She lied to me,” Thorn was mad. Even though she stopped Angela, she was still persistent. She came to the feeding program.             His wife is not feeling well. He almost didn’t get enough sleep because he always heard her moan and groan. It made him hard yet concerned at the same time. But it seems like she is just being dramatic.             If she is not really well, why she looks so pretty while helping? The smile on her face is never fading. She doesn’t look sick as hell. He felt so mad. He felt tricked. To think that he worried so much about her!             “Maybe she is now okay. She was healed by the presence of the children.” Caleb smiled and wiped the lines on his forehead. “Don’t get frustrated. Children are like that. They are happy to be with. They can wipe all your pain and worries…”             In the end, Thorn believed Caleb. He have children already and maybe it was right. Even he likes being with the kids. It’s just that, he just cannot enjoy because of the fact that Angela still came while she should not be feeling well.             “But I really like what I see, Thorn. You are worried about your wife. I know what’s next…” Caleb’s grin was so big.             “What’s next? I don’t know what you are saying.”             “Oh come on! Angela is pretty. She also looks nice and she likes kids. You are really right---she’s an ideal wife. She’s perfect. It’s easy to love someone like her. And I can see that you are.” “I’m not in love with her. I will never be in love again.”             “Famous last words,” Caleb tapped his shoulders.             Thorn shook his head. He doesn’t want to fall in love. He doesn’t knew Angela so well. What if she was just nice at first? There are so many people like that.  Angel in disguise. Thorn had learnt his lessons well on females. He should not put his trust so much. He just knew Angela for a while. How could he fall in love with her? But when he looked at Angela while she was laughing with the kids, he felt warm in his heart. She was so refreshing to look at. The whole world looks so peaceful and beautiful with her smile. Besides, why is he worrying for her so much?               Thorn recognized the feeling. But still, he tried to suppress it. But then, he cannot stop something that is disturbing his mind too: who is he fooling?
