ANGELA groaned when she heard the alarm of her phone. She was not feeling well because of dysmenorrhoea. She always felt like that whenever she have menstrual period, especially in the first three days. But then, she had to get up. It was Saturday today and she have work. It was a feeding program of the Lopez Foundation in an Orphanage.             Angela went to the cabinet to prepare her clothes. She was about to enter the bathroom when Thorn woke up.             “Why are you up so early? Wait, are you going out?” He looked at the clothes she prepared.             Angela nodded. She explained about the feeding program.             “You are not going out. You are not feeling well.” Thorn’s face is serious and so his voice. He got up from bed and took her clothes.             Angela didn’t let him. She shaked her head. “I cannot back out. I’m always a volunteer. Besides, we are out of manpower today.”             “I was observing you last night. You almost cannot sleep because of your menstrual period.”             “I’m okay.” She said but after a while bit her lip. A wave of menstrual pain hit her. Her hand went under her belly. Her face whitened.             Thorn’s jaw hardened. He looks mad.             Angela calmed herself. She let out a sigh. “I’m sorry. But I really need to attend.”             Angela went again to the bathroom. She was about to close the door when Thorn opened his mouth again.             “No. I’ll attend in your behalf. You just rest today.”             She looked at him in surprise. “Are you sure?”             Thorn nodded. “I’m a business man, I am good with people. Besides, it’s not my first time to do charity works. I can also call my friends to help if the program is really out of manpower.”             Angela’s eyes widened. “Friends? You mean, Resty and---“             Thorn shooked his head. “I don’t consider him as a friend anymore. It’s a different friend I am talking about. You don’t have to worry about everything now. Go back to the bed.”             Angela’s heart warmed. Even though she doesn’t know Thorn very well, he still cared for her. She was tempted to go back to bed when she remembered something. “But I want to see the kids, too. We always do charity program in that orphanage. I am close to the kids. For sure, they will ask for me.” “There would be next time…” “I promised them last time.” “Angela, you need to rest. Let me just take care of everything.” Angela stopped. She felt a bit disturb by what Thorn said. “Let me take care of everything about you and even your child, Angela. You are an embarrassment. No one should know about this…” Angela remembered the worst line she heard on her entire life.  Because of that, Angela felt more reason to stop Thorn’s decision.
