Falling Into Your Smile

I think it was summer when I first met him in front of my school. "Saan mo balak mag senior highschool, pre?" "I don't know." I'm staring at them while waiting for my brother to pick me up. Iiwas ko na sana ang pagtitig ko sa kan'ya pero nabigla ako nang ngitian niya ko saka mismong umiwas. I don't know what's this feeling but looking into his smile makes me feel warm and unbothered of all the problems that I have now. "Sino 'yon? Kilala mo?" Rinig kong tanong sa kan'ya ng mga kaibigan niya habang ako naman ako naglalakad palayo sa kanila. "Nope. Just someone that I will never meet again." That's the last words that I heard from him before I get in the car. Someone he will never meet again? It's true but maybe I want us to meet again so I can say that your smile is the warmest that I've ever seen.
