Naabotan ko si sir Josh na yan ang binibigkas habang nakaupo sa tabi ng kama ni miss Naomi. It was eight in the evening, at katatapos lang mag dinner ng aking bossing. It became his habit na dumeretso sa kwarto ni miss Naomi after dinner. At natutulog naman tuwing alas onse ng gabi.
Nakatanggap ako ng tawag sa telepono galing kay Mr. Doromal, at kaya ako pumanhik sa taas para tawagin si sir Josh. I was about to knock when I heard his voice. At yun nga, nadatnan ko siyang nagbabasa ng Bible na bigay ni Marta.
