Chapter 16

"I'm cooking breakfast for lukeypoo. My lukeypoo loves pancakes." i sang as i sway my hips while cooking.

7 am na nang bumangon ako para ipag luto si luke ng almusal niya. I continued to sing while swaying my hips.

"Good morning mahal." he said as he hugged me from behind.

"Good morning."

"Ang sarap gumising araw araw pag ganito makikita ko. I cant wait to make you my wife after a few more years my love."

"I can see my whole life with you baby." i said as i placed the plate on the breakfast table.

"I'm going to Andrew's house later, do you want to come? " he asked as he ate his pancake.

"Just tell him i said hi, im going to visit kuya later."

"Ok I'll get ready and drop you at your condo." he finished his food and went upstairs.

I went inside his room and walked around. I saw a picture of him with his ate. I took my phone and took a picture of it.

After a few minutes he came out of the bathroom wearing a plain white t shirt and sweat pants.

"You ready?" He asked.

I nodded at him and followed him downstairs. After a few minutes we arrvied my condo.

"Tawagan mo'ko mamaya bago ka umalis ha." i nodded at him and went inside.

I took a bath and prepared my stuff before calling luke and telling him that im about to leave.

I called kuya to check if he's in his office.

"Ano oras ka nasa office? " i asked him.

"Mga 4 pa, si mama naman mamaya pang 2. Mamaya ka na pumunta maiinip ka lang dun." -kuya.

"Ok call you later, bye."

I walked to Starbucks and grabbed some coffee. I decided to visit cloud. He was cremated but his ashes were displayed on her grandparents grave.

I was walking towards the grave when i noticed a man stading infront of the grave.

"I can't believe I'm visiting my own ashes." he chuckled.

His ashes?

"Maine?" i stared at a familiar eyes.

The eyes that once told me enchanting stories. The eyes that once stared at me and told me how beautiful life is. The eyes that caused me so much happiness and pain.

"C-Cloud? Pero paano?"

My phone rang as i looked at him. I looked down my phone before answering the call.

"Sam?"

"Si kuya, he's alive sha. My parents lied." she said while crying.

A tear fell down my face while staring at cloud.

"your kuya is here sam, he's with me. Visiting his own grave. "

Sam ended the call after telling me that she's going here.

"My maine, im sorry." he said as he hugged me.

"You dont have to say sorry." i hushed.

"I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for leaving you, sorry for hurting you, I'm sorry i forgot about you. "

"Cloud you dont have to. I was never mad at you ok?"

We stayed silent for a minute and sitted down on the grass.

"I heard that you've moved on? " he said while playing with the grass.

"What happened?" i asked changing the topic.

"You weren't there when they cremated the body right? "he asked and i just nodded at him.

"Well dad took me to Australia after the surgery. I lost my memory for 3 years, Mom and dad knew i was alive. They told me that i had a girlfriend, but it wasn't you. They told me that i was in love with rene. How pathetic, rene was the reason why i almost died and now they want me to marry her. They also told me that you were with somebody now. I didn't believe it, at first. But i saw you this morning at your condo, with a guy." he smiled painfully. "When i saw you with him. I knew that I've lost you, forever."

"I'm sorry, hindi ko alam." i cried.

"Di mo kasalanan, wala kang kasalanan." he wiped a tear from my face and smiled at me.

"I regretted the day i went to that bar" he whispered.

"I regretted the day i left without listening to you."

"Kuya." sam runned to her and hugged her.

"Hey it's alright. Im here you." cloud hugged him.

"I missed you so much kuya." she cried.

"I missed you too my little princess." he kissed her forehead and wiped away the tears on her face.

The three of us went to the near Starbucks to get some coffee. We stayed there for a while talking bout what happened in the past 4 years.

"Hey i need to go now. I'll see the two of you soon." i said as i stud up.

"Wait, nag aya si selena bar hopping daw latur ano g?" tanong sakin ni sam.

"text me the time and location. I'll be there. "

"Can i see you tomorrow?" he asked.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be at kuya's office around 8 am." i smiled at them before saying goodbye.

I rode a cab to the company still couldn't believe that cloud was alive.

"5 na ah akala ko di ka na pupunta." kuya said as i walked in his office.

"Sorry i was with sam and cloud."

"The f**k?" he said sounding confused.

"Why? Whats wrong? " i asked.

"Cloud? You're with cloud? "

Ah oo nga pala ako pa lang at si sam ang nakaka alam.

I nodded at him and told him everything. He was shocked when he heard what happened.

"May atraso pa sakin yung gagong yun." he said.

"Kuya I'm fine now. "

"Hindi yon, wala nakong pake kung umiyak ka noon. Buhay naman siya eh katangahan mo na yon. Ang inaalala ko yung kotse ko."

Hinilot ko ang sustendido ko.  My gosh mas inalala niya yung kotse niya kesa sa akin.

"Bwisit ka talaga"

"Kapal mo naman para isipin kita. Dagdag ka lang sa sakit ng ulo ko hoy!" biro niya sakin.

"I heard someone is alive." bungad ni mama.

"Yeah i was with him this afternoon." i said as i kissed her cheek.

"did you tell luke? " she asked.

"I haven't talked to him."

"You'll tell him,  right?" kuya asked as he sat down on the swivel chair.

"Yeah later. I'll tell him to pick me up."

"Pag hindi ka sinundo matik na HAHAHA" pang asar niya.

"Tado!" i said as i rolled my eyes.

We all sat down and talked about some business stuffs before walking around the building.

"Ma I'm going to call luke, ill follow you later." i said before walking to the window.

I dial lukes number. He answered after 5 missed calls.

"Hey where are you?" i asked as soon as he answered my call.

"I'm here with the guys mahal. Why what's wrong?" he asked.

"nothing, it's just."

"Just what?"

"Cloud's alive. I know it's hard to believe but i saw him this afternoon."

"You were with him? "

"Yeah, any way im still here at mom's company. Can you pick me up? "

"Sorry i can't, i promised the guys some drinks. Just call me when you're home."

"Yeah, ok.  I love you. "

"I love you too, I'll see you tomorrow." he said before ending the call.

I walked back to mom's office and sat on the sofa.

"Did you tell him? " kuya asked.

"yeah."

"And? Is he going to pick you up? "

"No, he's going to drink with the guys" i said as a slid my phone inside my pocket.

"Hala ka!  HAHAHA" pang asar niya.

"Bwisit ka talaga no? "

"Kung si charles yan mabilis pa sa alas dos sundo agad but anyway i can drop you off if you want." he said.

"No its good. Im gonna get going now may pupuntahan pa kami nila selena later."

"Dont drive when you're drunk ok? " mom said.

"Yeah mom i love you, take care. "

I kissed the both of them before heading home.

When i got home i took a shower and putted some make up on. I wore a high-waisted pants and a white tube. I also putted on a denim cropped jacket and some pair of ankle boots.

I tried to call luke but he wasn't answering. I texted him that me and the girls are going to grab some drinks. I also told him to drive home safe.

"Lets get wasted!" camilla screamed as soon as i got in the shotgun seat.

"Bahala na kung paano tayo uuwi basta lets enjoy!" sam said while driving.

Bar hopping it is.
