The following morning, I made up my mind to tell my parents my plan to have my internship at other company.
“Dad, sa Milestone Ad Agency na lang po ako magpapasa ng application letter ko for internship. Gusto ko po kasing matuto naman ng tungkol sa ibang business,” paalam ko habang kumakain kami ng almusal. Tumigil siya sa pagkain at tiningnan ako ng mataman.
“I know that company is the country’s leading ad agency pero wala tayong kakilala doon. They might not approve your application.” He answered.
“Hindi po ba mas okay na wala tayong kakilala doon para iwas sa special treatment? Sabi niyo po kagabi, di ba?”
