Chapter 2: Separate Ownership

Demonice POV

    After a few items that they show, there's still two remaining items before my main subject.

    "Tell me Diamond. What do you know about this underground auction?" Curious kung tanong sa kanya.

    Nalaman kung half Filipino at half Japanese siya. Kinwento niya sa akin ang mga nangyari sa kanya before she end here. Just like my instinct, she's not a simple captive. She's from a powerful clan, unfortunately, their enemy dissolved and assassinate her whole clan including her whole family.

    "As I remember, they collect different items from different organization and clans. Sometimes, they did dirty trick and plans just to get a precious treasure. They don't care if they're going to kill or not. What they want is money and power."

    Mag tatanong pa sana ako ng umalingaw ngaw sa buong auction room ang boses ng speaker.

    "And now! Here is the most awaited star item of the night.!!." Malakas na anunsiyo ng speaker.

    Unti-unting bumukas ang red curtain kung saan naroroon ang dalawang maliit na lamesa. Natatakpan ang mga ito ng dalawang puting tila.

    Napa kunot ang aking noo dahil sa aking nakita. 'What's going on? Don't tell me--'

    "Pinag hiwalay nila ang Dragon's Treasure, ang Akuma's Blade. Para mas malaking halaga ang kitain nila." Paliwanag ni Diamond.

    Really..? Well, it's fine to me. As long as makuha ko ang may Red Dragon emblem. "It's fine with me. Bid for the one with a Red Dragon Emblem." Wika ko habang di inaalis ang tingin sa stage.

    "Now, were presenting! The Akuma's Blade..! This blade is the Dragon's Treasure. The Treasure weapon of the legendary Dragon's Mafia." Speaker

    May dalawang babaing naka silver attire ang lumabas mula sa magkabilang side ng stage. Sabay silang naglakad papunta sa dalawang table. Then they remove the white fabric, leaving the two blade with different emblem on the main handle of it. The RedDragon Emblem and the Blue Dragon emblem. . They are the Demon and The Devils weapon that can destroy a thousand people it depends to the owner ok how they use it.  Many say's that there's a connection between the Blade and the Dragon's Mafia. But no one know about it.

    "The bidding price atart at $100, 000.00 for the Demon Blade! It is the one with a red emblem." Muling anunsiyo ng Speaker.

    Tumingin ako kay Diamond at tinanguhan siya.

    "Go."

    Someone raise a flag. "$110, 000.00"

    Another one again raise a flag. "$130, 000.00"

    Then a red light flash from the right side of the auction rooom. It's come from the VIP room na katapat ng inookupa namin. A girl wearing a full mask in black raise her flag. "$200, 000.00."

    Hindi parin nag bi-bidd si Diamond. But, it doesn't bother me at all. I know that she will get the the blade that I want, she will get it for me.

    "Counting once, counting twice... There's no one to bid for the--."

    "$500, 000.00!" A cold voice from the back cut the speaker. She's raising a flag. It's no other than, Diamond. Just like what I expected.

    Biglang naging tahimik ang buong auction room dahil sa bigla niyang pag entra.

    "So... Counting once, counting twice--"

    "$600, 000.00!" The lady with a full mask.

    "$601, 000!" Naka ngiting sagot ni Diamond

    "$700, 000.00!" The full mask lady.

    Pinagpawisan na ang speaker habang palipat lipat ang tingin sa dalawang nagpapalitan ng halaga ng blade.

    "$701, 000.00!" Diamond

    I don't know kung dapat ba akong matawa sa ginagawa niya. But, I like her way of bidding for an item.

    "$1000, 000.00!" Baliwalang wika ng babae.

    A million of dollar is not a joke. But like what I told to Diamond. There is no limitation for the amount.

    "$1001, 000.00!" Hindi inaalis ang mapang-asar na ngiti sa labi ni Diamond.

    "$2000, 000.00!" Lady in mask

    Tanging ang boses ng dalawang nag papataasan ng bid ang maririnig sa buong auction room. Wala ni isa ang nag sasalita. Tanging ang pag-galaw lang ng kanilang mga ulo at mata ang makikita dahil sa palipat-lipat na tingin sa dalawa.

    "$2001, 000.00!" Diamond remain the same.

    Halatang hindi maka paniwala ang mga nanunuod sa nangyayari. Even the speaker didn't expect to happen. Sa buong history ng Hell Pagoda, maituturing itong legend. Wala pang item na napresent dito ang umabot sa milyong dolyar.

    "Are you playing with me?" Cold na baling ng babaing naka full mask kay Diamond.

    "Oh? Pardon? As I remember, this place is the place is an auction place not a playground. So, why do I play with you?" Cold ding sagot ni Diamond sa nang uuyam na tono. And that make me smile coldly. I don't regret buying her freedom from this organization...

    "Tsk!" Hindi na nagsalita pa ang babe, then she raise down her flag. It means sumuko na siya.

    "When! So finally... The Akuma's Blade with a red emblem goes to--? What is your name miss?"

    Nag lakad si Diamond papunta sa stage para kunin ang item.

    "I don't need to give my name. Just address the item to the Demon Laire." Tanging sagot ni Diamond.

    "Ehem! Now, I personally announce that the ownership of the Demon's weapon one of the Akuma's blade belongs to the Demon's Claire.

    After Diamond get the blade ay agad na siyang umalis doon para bumalik sa kinaroroonan ko.

    'Finally...'

    Nakita ko ang pag sunod ng tingin ng babaing naka full mask kay Diamond. I don't know why. But I have this strange feeling to her...

    I get my smart watch and call one of my people with a connection here in hell pagoda. I need to confirm if he already did... To make Diamond free from this place.

    Pag ka babang-pag ka  baba ko ng phone ay siyang pagbukas ng pinto. Pumasok si Diamond na may malawak na ngiti sa kanyang mga labing.

    "Your Akuma's blade is already here." Then she show me the item.  "But, I use a really handsome amount of money..." Alanganin niyang sabi.

    "No problem. It's just a money. The item is more important than a single centavo." Baliwalang wika ko. This blade is the great treasure of my clan, my ancestors. This is reminding me about my family. I will use this treasure to get the justice for my parents, grandparents and my twin sister.

    Napa higpit ang hawak ko sa blade. Huminga ako ng malalim para pakalmahin ang aking sarili. Then I look at Diamond.

    "Anyway, you're free now. You're no longer a captive in this place."

    Nanlalaki ang mga mata nito habang naka tingin sa akin. Hindi mailarawan  ang kanyang ekspresyon sa mukha, kung tatawa ba siya o iiyak.

    I'll get a black card with a yin yang chips and a gold dragon emblem imprinted on it.

    "You're now one of my people."

    "Thank you..!" Masayang wika niya bago ako dinamba ng yakap. Agad din naman siyang humiwalay mula sa pag ka ka yakap sa'kin. "Sorry..." Nahihiyang sabi niya habang naka yuko.

    "It's ok."

    Nang magsalita ulit ang speaker ay napabalik sa stage ang attention ko. I want to know, to whom will get the ownership of the other blade. The Devil's weapon.

    This time, hindi na kasing init ng naunang bidding competition.  At the end, ang babaing naka full mask ang siyang naka kuha sa Blue Emblem  blade, the devil's weapon.

    'Whoever she is, someday I'll get that blade back for my clan, my family. That's supposed to be my twin sisters blade. Not to anyone else...'

    "Let's go."

    Hindi na namin hinintay na matapos ang bidding. After all, I already get what I want. I already know who got the other blade..

    'Devil's Force, huh? We will meet soon...' Taimtim kung usal sa aking isip before I continue leave the place.
