Chapter 1: Akuma's Blade

Demonice POV

    I'm walking alone in a dark alley here in Otokawa Japan. Wearing a long black coat and a fitted black leader pants and red turtle neck long sleeve. I choose Japan for my two weeks vocation. After this ay babalik na ako sa Pilipinas.

    While walking, I saw three silhouette near the isolated part of the street. Babaliwalain ko na sana sila when I accidentally heard their conversation.

    "May magaganap na auction sa Hell Pagoda."

    "Talaga?"

    "Yes dude! And you know what's the hot news?"

    "What is it?"

    "E- a-auction daw ang Akuma's Blade ng Dragon Mafia."

    I guest, today is my lucky day. Who would thought na makaka encounter ako ng mga pilipino rito. The good thing and most interesting part is they know about an underground auction. Tahimik lang ako habang pina pakinggan ang usapan nila.

    "So... Are we going their?"

    "Yeah, were going."

    "Then follow me. Hindi basta-basta ang pag pasok doon. Masyadong mahigpit ang Hell Pagoda. Tanging may connection lang sa Gangster society, Mafia Organization, Assassin at Yakuza lang ang nakaka pasok."

    "That's not a problem."

    "Then let's go."

    I silently follow them. Hanggang sa makarating kami sa medyo magubat na parte at malayo na sa mga building at kalsada. There's a big stone beside a big sakura tree. Sinipa ng isang lalaki ang bato. After that ay may lumabas na parang ATM machine sa mismong puno ng sakura.

    'What the--?'

    Nag labas ng card ang lalaking sumipa sa bato. A black card with blue chips. It means they are gangsters. Pero hindi sila kabilang sa mataas na rank. Good thing dahil lagi kong dala ang card ko. But my card is far different from their card.

    Nahahati sa ibat-ibang antas ang bawat card. May ibat-ibang kulay ang chips ng bawat black card.

    White chips-- for newbies or beginner

    Yellow chips-- for low ranks

    Green chips-- for those who already participated in a one-on-one fight

    Blue chips-- for a group who already win twice

    Red chips-- for those who already participate in death match

    Bronze chips-- for rank 21-50

    Silver chips-- for the rank 11-20

    Gold chips-- for the highest ranks, the King and Queen also from rank 1-10

    Pag pasok ko sa loob ay sumalobong sa akin ang isang eye detector at body scanner. In a identify nito kung tugma sa card DNA ng holder. This security will detect whether someone use a card na hindi sa kaniya. Kaya kung hindi ka kabilang sa kahit anong grupo o organisation na may connection dito ay hindi ka talaga makaka pasok.

    After the security check ay bomukas ang sliding door which is an elevator na magdadala sa ground floor ng underground. Nang tumigil ang elevator at bomukas ito ay agad akong lumabas at sinundan ang mahabang daan paliko sa kaliwa.

    Sumalubong sa'kin ang parang lobby ng hotel. Sinalubong ako ng isang babae na naka whole silver attire from head to feet. Wearing a red goggles.

    "Hi miss, welcome to Hell Pagoda. What layer do you preferred to go?" Naka ngiti at magalang niyang approach sa akin.

    "What layer the Akuma's Blade will be presented?" Sa halip ay tanong ko.

    Mas lumawak ang kanyang ngiti. "It will be presented at the upper Pagoda ma'am. You only need to do is to swipe your card to know if your qualified."

    Napatikwas ang kaliwa kung kilay dahil sa sinabi niya. I didn't say anything, instead, I get my card and swipe in the machine without hesitation. I saw her face with a surprise expression when she saw my card.

    Agad ay napa ayos siya ng tayo saka yomuko ng bahagya. "Follow me Q--."

    "Just D.A. Don't call me any name or whatever code." Putol ko sa anumang sasabihin niya.

    "Yes, D.A." magalang niyang sagot bago nauna ng nag lakad patungo sa gold door.

    I silently follow her. Before I enter the door, I quickly hide my aura and presence. I get my black mask then wear it. Keeping my identity is better for me not to attract new enemy. Or, for them not to know the real me.

    "What do you prefer, D.A. In an open area or one of the VIP room." Tanong niya sa'kin pagka pasok namin sa loob.

    "VIP, I want the left side. Make the light of the room dim."

    "Noted, D.A." Saka nag tungo siya sa taga assist. I give her my card to use.

    Pansin kong hindi basta-basta ang mga naririto ngayon. Like me, some of them also wearing their mask. Naagaw ang atensiyon ko sa right side VIP room. I feel that someone steering at me from that room. Masyadong dim ang ilaw non kaya di masyadong maaninag kung ano ang kasarian nito.

    "Your room is ready, D.A. let's go, I'll be your P.A in this auction." The silver lady.

    I give my one last glance to that strange room before I turn my back and follow miss silver. Pumasok kami sa isang black door na nagsisilbing privacy room. Sa ganitong paraan ay hindi nila malalaman kung saang room naroon ang isang guest.

    Pag pasok namin sa VIP room ay muli akong napa sulyap sa room na yun. Then I look at the silver lady.

    "May I know your name, miss Silver lady?" I ask her.

    Pansin ko ang pagka bigla niya.

    "I'm Aurora, Delany Aurora is my real name. But everybody call me Diamond." Sagot niya sabay yuko.

    Iginala ko ang aking tingin sa mga taong dumalo sa auction. Hindi ko maiwasang mapa tanong sa aking sarili. Pusibli kayang isa sa mga dumalo dito ay myembro ng Vipers... Napa tiim bagang ako ng maalala ang grupong iyon. The one who ruined my life.

    "Why are you working here?" Tanong ko kay Diamond na hindi na nag abala pang lingunin siya.

    "I'm one of their prisoner here. Or let say, a captive." Mahina ang boses na sagot niya.

    "Do you wan't to be free?"

    I don't know why I ask her that question, maybe because I feel something in this girl. My instinct never fail.

    "Yes, I want but I can't. I don't have right to decide for myself."

    "Get the Akuma's Blade for me, then I'll let you free from Hell Pagoda."

    Nag angat siya ng tingin habang may di maipintang eksprisyon sa mukha. Nanlalaki ang kanyang mga mata na parang hindi maka paniwala sa aking sinabi.

    "Miss, D.A..."

    "Use my card, I don't want anyone to know that I am the one who get the Akuma's Blade."

    Hinarap ko siya at tumingin ako ng deritso sa kanyang mga mata. Then their I saw a hope and trust in her eyes with a full determination.

    "Can you do it for me? That's very simple." Actually, what I said to her is true. When we bid, we need to show ourselves to the audience. I don't like anyone to know that I'm the one who get the Dragons treasure.

    "Yes I will. If this is the only way for me to leave this place. Then I gladly do it for you D.A."

    "Very well said. Go, change your outfit. I'm sure you don't want them to recognize you being the Silver Lady nor Diamond, right?"

    Dali dali siyang tumango at agad na umalis para magpalit ng damit. Kung saan man siya kukuha ng pamalit na damit? Hindi ko alam. Diskarte na niya yun.

    Bago pa man magsimula ang auction ay naka balik na siya. Like me, she's also wearing a black outfit and wearing a silver mask.

    "Calling the attention of all guest. I officially open this auction with the first item, called... Crystalium Jade. From $10,000..."

    Tahimik lamang ako habang naka upo. Wala akong interest sa ibang item. Tanging ang Akuma's Blade lang ang aking concern.
