CHAPTER 17

Ramdam ni Astrid ang paunti-unting paghina nang magic power ni Daniel. Napamura siya nang malakas dahil kapag tuluyan nang nawala ang magic power nang lalaki ay siguradong mahihirapan siyang maibalik ito. It could even lead to Daniel not having to use his element anymore, he could even die and worst turn into something hideous, something much nore terrifying.

Sa patuloy na pagtakbo ni Astrid ay natanaw niya na mula sa hindi kalayuan ang maraming kamukha ni Daniel na inaagaw ang atensyon nang isang nilalang. Bumaling si Astrid sa ilang mga puno and when she spotted where Daniel is ay agad siyang tumakbo papunta dito. Tumalon siya mula sa lupa papunta sa sanga ng puno kung saan nangtatago si Daniel.

"Hey it's me" - mahinang saad ni Astrid at tinapik niya ang pisngi nang binata dahil nakapikit ang mga mata nito.

"Damn! I am hella lucky that you came" - he said as he tried to smile pero kapansin pansin sa mukha nito na nahihirapan na siya. Chineck ni Astrid ang buong katawan nang binata at mukhang wala naman itong malalang sugat. However, when Astrid started to dig deeper on Daniel's body ay napamura siya nang mapansin na nagkaroon ito nang elemental or spiritual wound kung tinatawag.

This wound can be acquired when a magic user turned into a demon gone berserk and hit another user with magic. Mahirap pagalingin ang mga spiritual wound since it takes a lot of magic power to heal one and sometimes it can transfer from the victim to the healer.

"Save her Astrid... Sh-she is o-okay ri-right?" - nahihirapan nitong saad. Astrid's face remained stoic yet she can't help but to feel angry at the people who is behind this mess and to herself for letting shitty things happen. She is now regretting why she did not killed those people when she had a chance! And now this happened! She let Feliz turned into a Demonoid.

A demonoid is a demon yet before it turned into a demon it was once a magic user. A demonoid is not made by the demon generals or the demon lord himself, it was made by magic users or what we call humans. A demonoid is made by the rage or strong intent to kill of the person and a demon's blood.

Hindi lubusang maisip ni Astrid na unti-unti nang nagiging perpekto ang ginagawang eksperimento nang nga taong nasa likod nito. Demonoids should have been extinct and should have been disappeared in the depths of history. Wala na dapat nakakalam na minsan namuhay ang mga ito, nagparami which gave birth to the demon generals. Walang nakakalam, maliban sa mga taong nagsikap na mamawala ito sa mundo.

"Hear me water guardian, obey my word and be my weapon. Wash away the enemy and cleanse the land.  With my blood shall be your power... I call you, Water Guardian Naelyon!" - Astrid chanted and just as she finish her chant ay lumabas ang water guardian na si Naelyon sa kanyang harapan. Dahil sa paglabas ni Naelyon ay napansin ni Astrid ang paglingon nang demonoid sakanyang direksyon.

She knew that she caught it's attention because of the presence Naelyon emits since hers is concealed.

"Well shall I wash that monster away princess?" - Naelyon asked at akma na sanang susugod sa kalaban ng iharang ni Astrid ang katawan niya sa harapan nito.

"I don't need you to fight. I need you to to heal that man. He is a the successor to the title Primo Aqua and I bet you know him. He tried making a pact with you yesterday right? You wouldn't want him to die" - Astrid said which made the water guardian Naelyon heave a sigh at walang pagtangi niya nang nilapitan si Daniel. Nilabas niya ang kanyang buntot na kulay asul at unti unting pumulupot ito sa katawan nang binata at kasabay nito ay ang biglang pag liwanag nang katawan nito. The water guardian, Naelyon is giving him enough magic power to survive and he also thought of giving a little bonus since the successor of the title Primo Aqua is unique yet he is also powered with revenge because of a death of a loved one. Kasabay din nito ay ang paglaho nang mga clones na ginaw ni Daniel at lahat nang tubig na galing dito ay agad ding naglaho sa lupa.

" Take care of him, I'll just settle things here" - saad ni Astrid at lumabas sa dalawang kamay niya ang dalawang klase nang apoy. On her right is a blue flame and on the left is a black-colored flame.

"Come here brat" - She said enough for the demonoid to here and as if she triggered the demonoid's hidden desire ay agad itong sumugod papalapit sakanya. The hands of the demonoid has claws and she saw how a ball of air started to form in those clawed hands.

"DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE" - the demonoid screamed at kasabay nito ay ang paghagis nito nang mga bolang hangin patungo sa direksyon ni Astrid. Mabilis na umiwas si Astrid sa bawat atake nang kalaban and she even used her blue flame to make some of the air to disappear. While Astrid is evading all the air balls ay kapansin pansin ang pagngisi nang demonoid. And when she finally evaded the last one, the demonoid suddenly jumped and is about to attack Astrid with its bare claws.

"No wonder you are such a weakling. " - Astrid said at bago pa man makalapit ang demonoid sakanya nang isang metro ay bigla nalang itong tumilapon. Naka stretch na ang kamay ni Astrid at ang itim na apoy na kaninang nasa kamay nito ay wala na. Ngunit sa pagkawala nito ay nagkakaroon ulit nang bagong apoy.

Ang demonoid na tumilapon ay unti-unting tumayo at hawak hawak nito ang kanyang tagiliran dahil dito tumama ang apoy ni Astrid which caused the demonoid to bleed.

"Hindi mo ba natatandaan ang tinuro sayo sa universidad na huwag na huwag basta basta sumu-sugod sa kalaban?" - Astrid mocked at nakita niya ang pag rehistro nang matinding galit at pagna-nais na siya'y mamatay sa mukha ng demonoid.

"I WILL KILL YOU ASTRID I WILL KILL YOU DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE" - paulit ulit na sigaw nang demonoid at kitang kita ni Astrid kung paano naging kulay itim ang mata nito, mayroon ding lumalabas na itim na aura dito at muli itong sumigaw nang napakalakas dahilan para magsiliparan ang mga ibon sa paligid at manginig ang lupa na kanilang kinatatayuan.

"Shall I'll kill you then, Feliz?" - Astrid asked and the demonoid, who is Feliz started to scream even more louder than before.

Deep inside Astrid's head, she is thinking whether she should let Feliz escape and kill him later on when she already feels like it or whether she should just finish Feliz immediately so that it will not cause any problems to her and to the other people. Each option has benefits and consequences. If she chooses the first one, Feliz the demonoid will eventually took a liking in becoming a demonoid and grasping the power it has and then killing many people soon the secon option will more likely make the other students hate her because she just killed the successor to the title of the Primo Aerial.

But still she also knows that one death is nothing when a hundred lives is at steak. Also, she is used to being hated, being alone.

"DIEEEEE!!" - Feliz screamed at bigla itong naghagis muli nang bolang hangin ngunit napa mura si Astrid nang bigla itong umapoy. Agad ding inihagis ni Astrid ang kulay asul at itim na apoy upang kontrahin ang mga atake ni Feliz dahilan para magkaroon nang malakas na pagsabog at mabalot ang paligid nang itim na usok.

She kept her focus intact at nang maramdaman niya sudden bloodlust mula sa kanyang harapan ay agad niyang nilabas ang kanyang espada mula sa kung saan at saktong sakto ay lumabas mula makapal na usok ang kamay ni Feliz at akmang sasakalin siya kaya agad niya itong nasangga.

And as if on cue ay naramdaman niya na may kung anong tatama sa kanyang mga paa kaya bago pa man ito mangyari ay agad na tumalon si Astrid papunta sa isang puno

She is planning to definitely finish Feliz with a single s***h yet she knows an ordinary sword would not pierce that demonoids body. She needs both the sword and a guardian's power, with her force and the guardian's power combined she knows she will be able to cut the demonoid into half.

"A princess hidden inside a castle made a contact with a powerful monster. Almost got killed yet a power protected her." - she started the chant to call upon the guardian. And before she could even utter the next one ay nakita niya ang mabilis na pagsugod sakanya ni Feliz kaya agad siyang tumalon mula sa puno pababa sa lupa. Tumalon muli siya upang makalayo nang konti at muling nagsalita.

"A power that is hidden within the depths of hell. And the princess seeks the protection once again" - pagpapatuloy niya at muli bago niya pa matapos ang chant ay mabilis muling sumugod sakanya si Feliz. The demonoid Feliz was about to claw her but she was way faster kaya agad niyang nasangga ang kamay nito nang espada.

Astrid is able to see the movements of her enemy very clearly. Kaya nang inangat palang ni Feliz ang paa nito ay agad nang naglabas si Astrid nang itim na apoy na sakto sa bandang tiyan ni Feliz dahilan para muli itong tumilapon at tumama sa isang malaking puno.

"Protect me, Fight for me and Defent me. Hear my words for I, Astrid call upon the Fire Guardian of Hell... REMPO!" - pagtatapos niya sa kanyang chant at agad na nagkaroon nang apoy paikot sakanya. Ang kamay din niyang mayroong itim na apoy ay lalong lumaki.  The ground begins to shake as well and in just a few seconds a part of the very ground where Astrid is standing begins to c***k open and in a swift movement something came out of the open ground and rings of fire came out of nowhere.

And at the middle of the center ring, an unknown creature appeared

Tiningnan nito si Astrid nang at gayundin ang ginawa ni Astrid dito. In just a split second ay nawala na ang nilalang ag bigla nalang umapoy ang espada ni Astrid. Apoy na kalahating kulay pula at kalahating kulay itim.

"Let's finish this" - Astrid said with a stoic face and she immediately dashed towards the immobilized demonoid Feliz. Of course, it will be immobilized since the impact is too strong and the fire Astrid used is the one that can deal a lot of damage to demons and also can weaken their magic powers.

"I WILL KILL YOU I WILL KILL YOU" - sigaw muli nang demonoid na si Feliz at akma pa sanang tatayo nang saktong nakalapit na sakanya si Astrid. Sinipa ni Astrid si Feliz dahilan para tumilapon muli ito at nasira ang mga puno kung saan ito tumilapon hanggang sa tumama ang likod nito sa malaking pader na bato. Feliz cried in pain but her lust to kill Astrid is still there.

Aakma pa sana siyang tumayo para magipon nang lakas pero sa isang iglap ay nasa harapan niya na si Astrid at nasa lupa na siya habang naka apak sa kanyang dibdib ang dalaga.

"Goodbye Brat" - Astrid said and was about to chop off Feliz head when a scream stopped her from doing so.

"DON'T KILL HER!!"
