"Replicas"
I knocked three times.
"Ham? It's Mama."
Ilang saglit lang ay bumukas ang pinto. He is already wearing his green pajamas.
"Can I come in?"
Niluwagan niya ang bukas ng pinto niya at gumilid. Humakbang na ako papasok.
"What are you doing my young man?"
"I am reading ma."
I nodded and pull him towards his bed. I made him sit. Tumabi naman ako sa kanya.
"I've got something for you."
"But it's not yet my birthday."
Ngumiti ako at ginulo ang buhok niya. "Well, it doesn't have to be your birthday."
Tumango siya.
"Here." Binigay ko sa kanya ang box kung saan ko sinilid ang rubics cube. "Go on open it."
He pulled the ribbon and uncover the box.
