"Strobe Lights"
I watch his dark eyes gaze at me. My eyelids felt heavy but I don't even want to blink. Natatakot ako na sa pagkurap ko maglaho na lang siya na parang bula. Only the lampshade on the nightstand gives as light as we lie on his bed. Kahit sa katamtamang ilang I can see his perpetual scowl.
"Sleep now Dennis."
I shook my head and embrace his chest tighter. I rested my face on his chest, my body leaning on him. It's like I am never contented at our distance. I want him right by my side.
"W-what happened to Rossette?" I ask in a small voice.
"There's a fracture on her little finger. She needs to undergo series of surgery.
"I-I am sorry... Hindi ko naman s-sinasadya."
Sorry won't be enough, I know that. She is a violinist and if her finger
