CHAPTER 03

Astrid Xenia's Point of View

"Master, what are you thinking?" - tanong bigla ni Freya dahilan para mapabalik ako sa realidad. Agad akong napailing dahil hindi ko na malaman kung ilang beses na nga ba ang natutulala ngayong araw because I felt that something is missing in me. I don't know what it is but I really feel that I am forgetting something

"Maybe she is thinking about that lover of hers"-  Rempo suddenly said which instantly made me look at him. Lover? What does he mean by my lover?

"Shut up Rempo!" - Astro exclaimed which made me think even more and as if on cue ay agad akong napahawak sa aking noo dahil sa bigla nitong pagkirot. And just then I saw an image of a man and a woman talking. 

"Aizen.." - she called at him. She knows that there is no other way. Kailangan niyang pigilan ang pagwawala ng mga heneral at ang paglabas ng mga demonoid. She needs to seal that darkness before it's too late.

"I know. We have to do it.. I am prepared to do it because I know we will meet again. And the next time we meet—

Pinutol ni Astrid ang sasabihin ng binata

"The next time we meet we will be together and we will no longer sacrifice ourselves" - she continued. Tinali niya ang kanyang buhok at hinubad ang makapal na damit at natira nalang ang manipis na itim na bestida. Alam na ni Slyfer at ibang mga guardians ang plano nilang gawin. Si Slyfer ay naging anyong tao at nanood sa gilid, si Rempo naman at si Astro ay ganoon din ang ginawa.

Lumabas sa kanyang buong katawan ang mga marka nang kanyang responsibilidad sa buong mundo. Unti-unting nababasag ang kanyang katawan. Hinawakan ito ni Aizen at hinawakan ang kanyang baba. Sa hindi malamang dahilan ay nagsimulang umulan ng malakas.

"We will surely meet again Amare. I will find you" - he said at sa huling pagkakataon ay hinalikan siya nito. Kasabay ng pagtulo ng kanyang luha.

The appartion ended which instantly made me froze at kasabay din nito ay ang hindi ko inaasahan na pagtulo ng aking luha. It's been twelve years since the last time I cried and these tears are new to me, but the feeling is already old enough yet also feels so fresh.

"Gago ka talaga Rempo! Pinaalala mo pa!" - I heard Igneous exclaimed at narinig ko na ang pagsisimula ng kanilang pagbabayangan. It's been a decade and twelve years since we last met. Damn I am so stupid that the moment I regained my memories in my past life, I immediately decided to end it and reverse the damn curse. How pathetic I am that I did even got to spend a lot more intimate time with him.

It's been quite some time since I already regained the memories of my past lives yet I forgot to remember him. How f*****g pathetic I am! I was the one who damn reversed the f*cking curse to carry his damn burden but here I am and I still forgot him! 

I don't even know where he is right now, but I am sure that he too has already been reincarnated. However the only problem is that he obviously can't remember a single damn thing about me! Which is so damn f*****g frustrating. 

"Slyfer, let's go back to the human world, we are going to check something" -agad kong sabi at mabilis akong tumayo mula sa kinauupuan ko. I immediately opened the portal going to the other dimension, a dimension where no monsters or even people who possess magical power are present.

Akmang papasok na sana ako sa loob ng bigla akong pigilan ng guardians. 

"Wait we are still not yet done here, master!" - Astro exclaimed and I know that the other guardians also think the same way. Yes, I know that we are still not really done since we still haven't reached our quota. And I know that they cannot really do anything unless I am here, not to mention that I need to be in the same dimesnion as them for them to be able to use their full potential.  But I have already wasted twelve f*****g years and I cannot waste another month. I just need to first make sure that he is alright. That he is alive, and I don't give a s**t whether or not he really forgot everything 

"We are just going to be quick that you wouldn't even know we left" - sagot ko sakanya and before one of the guardians decided to stop me again ay agad na akong pumasok sa portal and ramdam ko ang pagsunod saakin ni Slyfer. Of course he would follow me, takot niya lang saakin. 

The travel only took a minute and poof we already arrived in the place that is so unfamiliar to me. I look around and all I can see is huge buildings and people who are busy walking, talking to each other. 

"What the heck is this place?" - bulong saakin ni Slyfer and I just shrug my shoulders because I too don't know what this place is because all my life I lived in a different dimension, not to mention that since my biological parents in this life already passed away.

I lived in that island alone with the guardians. Although I don't know what this place is, it also felt familiar. 

"Let's just find him" - saad ko nalang at nagsimula na kaming maglakad ni Slyfer. I used my senses to track his soul down and the two of us started following the unique scent my lover's soul is emitting. 

"I can't believe how strong your bonds are that you even got to trace his soul" - Slyfer said pero hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at nagpatuloy nalang ako sa paglalakad. 

It took us about ten minutes before we reached the place where the smell of his soul comes from.

"Hey hey master, you are not planning on trespassing that house right?" - biglang tanong ni Slyfer dahilan para mapairap ako. Dinala kasi kami ng amoy sa isang bahay and the smell is still inside of that house. Imbis na sagutin ko si Slyfer ay mabilis kong tinago ang presensya ko at walang kahirap-hirap kong tinalon ang mataas na gate.

Didiretso sana ako sa front door upang doon pumasok pero napahinto ako ng marinig ko ang isang iyak ng sanggol. I got curious, so instead of using the front door ay agad kong ginamit ang mahika ko upang mag levitate at pasimple akong naglakad papunta sa pinangagalingan ng ingay.

Sumilip ako sa bintana at agad akong napangiti sa aking nakita. 

So he is still a baby. Masyado pa ngang maaga para ipaalala at bumawi sakanya sa lahat. But that also means that I still have lots of time on my sleves.
