Nawala kaagat ang ngiti sa mga labi nya. Nanliit ang mga mata nito at halos mag-init sa usok ang tenga niya sa narinig. Of course, wala talagang libre. Lahat may kapalit. If this guy thinks he can wrap her in his little finger, she believes not. Gasgas na masyado ang tactic niya.

Grabbing her Gucci bag, she walked towards the direction of those two insects. People cleared a path for her.

Nang makarating si Gigi sa table nila, she placed a hand on her hips and polished her nails. Agad naman silang lumayo sa isat' isa.

"B-boo what are you doing here?" Edmund stammered ng inaadjust ang tie sa suit niya. Pinasadahan nito ng kamay ang pisngi nito to wipe off any trace of a smudge lipstick but it was too late. Kitang-kita niya kanina pa ang paglalandian nilang dalawa.

"Just visiting an old friend. Apparently, there was a good show playing at this bar." She sat at the seat sa end ng table "Mr. Dickhead flirting with Ms. Sulotera. What a great show it was indeed."

"Baby we can---" tangkang pagsalita ng insect but she cut her off and gave her the infamous Sandoval glare.

"Wag mo ko na kakausapin dahil impid ka lang naiintindihan mo." Matigas niya dito na tugon. Matalim niya naman na tinitigan si Edmund.

"At ikaw, pipili ka nalang ng babae na kakantotin ito pa? Ang cheap!" my voice rose an octave and diniinan ko ang huling mga salita. I was fuming mad! How dare he replace me with someone as lowly as her. Oo maganda siya pero mas maganda naman ako!

By now, people were staring at us. The insect girl looked insulted while my ass of a boyfriend glared at me.

"Wag dito Gigi." Matigas na sambit ni Edmund. He took her hand in his and that only glared at him more. So, he's choosing her over me? She's choosing a lowly peasant na magaling lang tumilapon sa era over me the famous Gigi Sandoval?! At may gana pa talaga siya na ipalandakan sa mundo na babae niya ang insekto na yan?

Giving them a saccharine smile, I rose from my seat and grabbed the nearest guy to my right. I was able to feel the strong muscular arm of the guy and the smell of his aftershave. Infareness mabango. Facing the duo, I pulled the guy to my side and wrapped my arms with his.
