Enrico Bernardini Have you ever had that moment when you fell asleep at the middle of a movie and when you woke up you don't understand the flow of events? Or how about really watching a criticical moment but in just a blink of an eye, the plot changed? Some might agree while some may dont. But I can assure you that the next few days of my life is like that movie. I remembered pain, and I remembered a voice. Calling out to me. "Enrico." A melodious voice of a sobbing woman pleaded. I felt her caress my hand and kiss the top of my head. Who is she? "Wake up baby." she sobbed. "You have to wake up." And I did. Bright lights filled my vision and for a moment I had to squint my eyes. Blinking back the sleep from my eyes, it fell on the woman beside me. I saw a pair of bright hazel eyes looking back at me. Her eyes were bloodshot red, her hair in a rumpled bun as if she just tied it haphazardly. She had a regal and elegant nose and high cheekbones. My eyes fell on her lips. Gods, her lips were plump as peaches and red as a rose. Tears formed in her eyes as I stared back at her and a grin broked out into her face. My heart skipped a bit and for a moment I was blinded by the pure beauty of her. The girl was familiar to me. I saw her ordering in my favorite cafe. Even back then she was a stunner. However just like now, she had a frown on her face. Now why is that same girl standing over me with tears in her eyes? Hindi naman kami magkakilala. And the hell nasa ospital ba ako? I looked at all the wires connected to my body. What happened to me? Panic started to set in kaya isa isa ko na tinanggal ang mga ito. "Baby dont---" she worriedly stopped me, but I frowned at her. Why is she calling me baby? Sino ba siya? Kaano ko ba siya? "Get away from me!" I screamed at her and I regretted it when I saw her flinched. I felt guilty at the look of fear and hurt in the girl's eyes. But I was more concerned on my welfare. "Who are you?" "Y-you dont know m-me?" she gasped and fresh tears formed in her eyes. Ba't ba siya umiiyak? At bakit ba parang gusto ko na mawala ang mga luha niya? The f**k? Ano ba nangyayari sa akin. Gulong- gulo ako na tinanong siya. "Sino ka ba?" matalim at naguguluhan ko na tanong dito. "What?" Sambit niya na puno ng sakit at hinagpis ang mata "You don't know me?" I shook my head and the girl's tears finally fell down on her cheeks. "The world is really f*****g with me." she sarcastically laughed to herself. Napailing ito at pinunasan ang mga luha. "My name is Louisa Sandoval." she honestly said, piercing me with her hazel eyes. Her next words brought a sword to my heart. "I am your girlfriend." Hey guys! New story po ito.
