Chapter 12

"Anebe Dark kilig namen akesh." kinikilig na parang bata na tugon ni Gigi. She was impersonating a teenager para mawala ang pagkaseryoso nitong mukha.

Truthfully, it scared her and at the same time warmed her insides sa mga binitawan na salita ni Enrico. She doesn't know what to do or react kaya ito nalang ang nagawa niya.

Siniko niya ito sa tagiliran nang mabitawan nito ang kaniyang mukha.

"Ang galing mo din magpakilig noh." Mapaklang tawa niya dito.

Bumagsak naman ang mata ni Enrico at napabuntong hininga. Mamaya lang ay inangat na nito ang ulo at ngumisi sa kaniya ng nakakaloko. Hindi nga lang umabot sa mata nito ang ngiti.

"Halika na nga." tugon nito sa kaniya at pinasakay na sa kotse nito.

Inihatid siya sa bahay niya. She wanted to talk to him about what he said earlier pero hindi niya magawa.

Tiyaka ano naman ang sasabihin niya dito? That it was awkward and scary because they were only pretend girlfriend and boyfriend pero kung makaakto ito ay prang totoo na?

Naguguluhan siya dito. Hindi na niya alam kung ano pa ang dapat isipin o gawin. They were only together for a week. Ang bilis naman?!

Nang huminto ang sasakyan ni Enrico sa tapat ng gate niya ay hindi niya muna naisip na lumabas ng sasakyan.

"Enrico?" maama niya na tawag dito.

He turned his head towards her. She can see the fear and uncertainty in his eyes despite the smirk on his face. "Yes baby? You want to go somewhere first?"

She shook her head, "I..." she paused, gathering her thoughts before steeling him in his seat with her eyes "Don't fall for me."

Bahagya itong nagulat. Bumagsak ang ngiti.

Wala sa kanila ang nagsalita. Pero mabilis ito naglaho at ngumisi ng nakakaloka.

"Why baby? Are you falling for me?" He teased her but she rolled her eyes at him.

"I'm serious Enrico." She eyed him "Don't fall for me. I can never give you my heart."

He swallowed before piercing me with his eyes. "Okay." He said. "You should go. Baka madala pa kita sa kama ko."

"You're such a s*x addict." She rolled her eyes at him and went out of his car.

She waved goodbye at him and walked towards the front of her gate.

Before she can close the gate, she saw a text message from him as his car sped off. Frowning, she opened it and her jaw dropped.

"No promises?" She bitted out as she read the text. "What are you talking about Enrico?"

Buong gabi hindi siya mapakali sa mensahe nito. Nahalata din ng magulang niya na wala siyang gana makipag-usap at kumain. So she excused herself to go to her room after dinner.

Nagpabaling-baling siya sa kama niya pero hindi niya pa din maiwasan na mapaisip dito. Kaya naman hindi na siya nabigla pa ng magising siya na may napakalaking eyebags. Groaning, she checked her phone only to curse out loud. She was late.

She was running down the stairs ng pumasok ang maid na nila na ngumingiti. Ay ang ganda ng gising teh habang siya naman mukhang zombie sa kulang sa tulog.

"Ma'am Gigi andiyan na po sundo niyo." magiliw na tugon sa kaniya ng maid nila. Dali-dali naman niya na kinuha ang bag niya at lumabas na ng bahay.

Panigurado na si Danielle ito. Lagi siyang sinusundo kasi nito kapag MWF. Ayaw niya pa kasi talaga magdrive.

Hawak-hawak ang phone she browsed her notifications. She has a few quizzes the next days kaya kailangan niya mag-aral.

Speaking of quizzes, kailangan niya pa magtutor kay Danielle. May quiz na naman sila sa College Algebra at panigurado na mahirap na naman ito. She needs to prepare for the war.

Hindi inaangat sa cellphone na pumasok siya sa kotse. She inhaled a male perfume and a different feel to Danielle's car.

Inangat niya ang kaniyang ulo. Napakunot siya ng makita ang ibang interior. What the?

Nagbago na naman ba ng kotse ang kaibigan niya? Alam niya mayaman si Danielle at mahilig ito magpalit ng kotse pero kakapalit palang nito ng kotse noong isang buwan.

"Danielle bumili ka na naman ba ng bagong kotse?" tanong niya sa kasama. Ibinaling niya ang kaniyang atensyon sa katabi niya at namilog ang mata niya nang makita ang lalaki na nakaupo sa driver's seat.

"Good morning baby!"magiliw na bati sa kaniya ni Enrico.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"sigaw niya dito.

Asaan si Danielle? Tinitigan niya ang gawi ng kotse at napasapo ng ulo. Ba't hindi man lang niya napansin na pamilyar ang interior nito. Kulang na kulang pa talaga siya sa tulog.

Ngumuso si Enrico sa kaniya "Alam mo, iyan na ang favorite line mo."

Inirapan niya lamang ito at akma na lalabas ng kotse pero pinaharurot naman nito.

"Enrico!" she growled at him.

"No can do baby. You're riding with me." ngisi nito sa kaniya. He had his usual smirk on his face. From this angle kita niya ang dimple sa mukha nito. Ang cute pala nito.

Shaking her head from the distracting face of his, she asked him. "How did you convinced Danielle to not pick me up?"

He chuckled, his eyes crinkling in laughter."Cupcakes."

Nasapo niya ang mukha ng malaman ito. Of course! Danielle's weaknesses were sweets and cupcakes!

Grabe ipinagpalit siya sa cupcakes. Patay talaga sa kaniya si Danielle mamaya!

"Speaking of cupcakes. Grab the paper bag at the back." He said pointing to the paper bag sa likod. "I made you an omelet."

"Really?" she asked as she grabbed the paper bag and removed the tupperware inside. Binuksan niya ang tupperware at halos maglaway siya sa bango at presentation ng omelet.

Grabe ang bango at parang ang sarap!

Instantly, her stomach grumbled. Her eyes widened at the sound of it. Her cheeks heated and she embarassingly glanced at the man laughing mirthlessly beside her.

"Iyan kasi sa kakadiet mo nagugutom ka na." Asar nito. Binatukan niya naman ito at mas lalo itong natawa. "Baby I'm driving."

Huminto naman siya dahil ayaw niya maaksidente sila.

"But seriously baby, you make me want to cook for you more." He softly said.

"Kumakain naman ako." She replied to him in defense.

"Yes but you tend to skip meals. I'll cook you healthy meals if you're conscious about your figure." He offered to me "I have a healthy meal plan that you can adopt as well. Since I'm in the modeling industry, I have to stay fit. You can go out on runs with me too."

"You'll do that?" Mangha niya na tanong. Edmund was an athlete pero never nito shinare sa kaniya ang meal plan or exercise nito. Not once did he encouraged her to go on a heathy fitness journey instead of crash diet.

Although she did tried but she eventually stopped when she felt unmotivated. Kaya crash diets nalang ginagawa niya.

"Of course. I'll help you with everything you need." He warmly grinned at her. "We can start tomorrow if you'd like. I'll pick you up at 6am? Hapon pa naman pasok natin kapag TTH."

"Sound like a plan!" She grinned at him. She can't wait to use her cute gym clothes again.

"Dali, kain ka na." Enrico urged her.

"Okay lang?" She asked him. Akala niya kasi ito yung tipo na ayaw madumihan o mangamoy pagkain ang sasakyan.

"Oo naman." He said. "Magtatampo ako kapag di mo iyan kinain."

"No need. Gutom ako kaya kakainin ko ito!" She snickered as she grabbed a spoon and fork, and opened the tupperware.

Isang kagat niya pa lamang dito, napaungol na siya sa sarap. Halos sipsipin na nga niya ang lalagyan nang maubos ito. Inabutan din siya nito nang hot chocolate na masaya niya naman na ininom.

Grabe sa tanang buhay niya ngayon lang siya nakakain nang ganoon kasarap na pagkain. Well, palagi naman siya nakakakain ng masarap. Pero iba yung gawa ni Enrico. Para ba may halong magic o something ang mga luto nito.

"Masarap?" Enrico hopefully asked.

Her mouth was full when she gave him a thumbs up. "Sobra!"

"I'm glad." He chuckled. He pointed to the cup holder "There's your favorite drink. I heard you like drinking Tim Horton's Iced French Vanilla in the morning."

Her eyes twinkled as she drank her drink. She let out a satisfied sigh as she finished her meal. Carefully, she placed the tupperware and water bottle at the paper bag.

She even burped to both of their amusement.

"Thank you Enrico." She sincerely told him as she popped a mint on her mouth and freshened up. "Ipagluluto din kita!"

He shook his head "Okay lang. Wala iyon."

"Then how can I repay you?" She pouted at him.

He grinned at her pouting face. He tilted his head to the side when they reached a crossing.

"Hmm...I can ask for anything?" He dubiously asked.

She eyed him as a knowing grin formed on his lips. "Yung hindi bastos ah!"

He chuckled as he turned to her. "I was going to ask if you can wear a lingerie for me."

"Ewan ko sayo! Yung sakto naman na pambawi sa pagluto mo sa akin."

"Okay. I think I know just what it is." he softly said.

"What is it then?" She asked, turning her body towards his.

A possessive gleam formed on Enrico's eyes. His lips turned into a grim line yet his voice was mellow and sweet.

"You can't see or date any other man Gigi." maamo pero madiin nito na sambit. Air knocked out of her lungs at the intensity of his state "You'll only date me and no one else. No other man Gigi. Please?"

Her heart was pounding in her chest. Her throat, clogged at his request. She didn't noticed that she still hasn't given him an answer.

"Baby?" He softly asked, caressing her hand.

Turning her eyes towards his, she found her voice and said, "Yes."
