Few days passed and Dad called over my phone. Gusto na niya akong pauwiin sa mansiyon. I wanted to be happy but I could not. Staying with Japen for few weeks, it had made me felt safe and knew him deeper. I thought I knew him too well since we almost grew up together, but I realized that years had mold us into another persons, a different person.
Soon enough, narating na namin ang mansiyon. Since Japen was still my driver, I would see him everyday until Mang Selyo came back or until Japen's last semestral break, since he was still studying. It made me happy that I got to still see him everyday.
"Let's get inside," aya ko sa kaniya bago binuksan ang pinto at umibis mula sa sasakyan. I closed the door and not long after, I saw Japen exited the car.
