There was a song that I first learned from my mother. It was If We Hold On Together. I could not remember who sang that song but the melody and the lyrics were still clear in my mind. The song was the one that soothed my aching heart when my mother died years ago. And every night back then, when I could not sleep after counting sheeps, I always sang that song to remember her. Marahan kong binulong ang liriko ng kanta habang nakahiga sa matigas na kama ni Japen. He was not here. He was busy on the outside. Earlier, we had a dinner together on one of the most popular fast food stores in the country. It was my treat, of course. Japen did me a little favor to drive me back to San Fernando so I urged him to pull over the fast food store to eat. Para hindi na kami kakain sa bahay niya. Uhm
