“I’m sorry if I do so behind your back. I just want to–” I didn’t wait for him to finish his sentence when I leaned over and kissed him.
“Sai, you just gave me another reason to love you more.” I smiled at him when our lips parted. “I’m not mad for what you did. I’m beyond thankful.” I gave him another peck before I unbuckled my seatbelt. “Alam ba nila na uuwi ako ng Pilipinas?”
“Nope, I didn’t tell them, of course. I don’t want to spoil your surprise.” Tumango ako bago tuluyang lumabas ng sasakyan niya. Lumabas na rin siya at dumiretso sa likod para kunin ang mga gamit ko sa compartment.
Humarap ako sa bahay namin at pinagmasdan ‘yon. Nothing has changed from what I remember. Kung ano ang itsura ng bahay namin noong umalis ako ay ganoon pa rin ‘yon hanggang ngayon.
