I turned back and saw Belle smiling at me. The way her lips lifted upward. The way her teeth are perfectly aligned. The warm glow her happiness gives. Her smile is like a ray of sunshine. Hindi ko mapigilan ang sariling mapangiti at agad siyang tinakbo. She opened her arms to hug me but...
"Belle!" Bigla na lamang siyang nawala.
I heard the indistinct voice of people surrounding me.
"Kawawa naman ang aso..." naririnig kong sabi nila.
Aso? Ano'ng aso? Bakit nakatingin sila sa akin?
"B-Belle... Belle..." I mumbled.
