Caden’s Point of View
“Sure ka na ba talaga na pupunta ka sa bahay?” tanong ni Lalaine sa akin. Worry was written all over her face. She couldn’t even look at me straight in the eyes. She’s fidgety and has been acting anxious.
“Yes,” sagot ko sa kanya. I slowed down the car and looked at her. “Why, don’t you want me to come and see your family?”
“Hindi naman sa gano’n…” aniya. She may try to deny it, but I can sense that there’s something that’s really bothering her.
Huminga ako nang malalim. “Lalaine, look…” I took a pause to organize my thoughts. “I want us to be official. I want our relationship to be legal.
