Chapter 14: The Hot Moody Asshole and her Sunshine

Ella drove Sam and Aubrey to the hospital, still have no freakin' idea who the hell was that kid.

Pagdating nila sa hospital, Topher looks like he just cried a bucket-full of tears but Sam pushed that out of her mind and immediately asked for Dom.

"Nasa ER sila ngayon, she's bleeding 10 minutes ago, kulang na siya sa dugo." Sabi ni Topher and Ella placed a comforting hand on his back.

"Nasaan yung Daddy niya? Compatible ba?" Tanong ni Sam.

"That's what Im about to say, hindi ko macontact si Tito, and Dom needs a blood donor ASAP, I already checked on the bank blood, and when they told me there's no match-"

"Wait... I know someone." Sabi ni Sam and she looked at her daughter. She got Dom's genes, and maybe... "Can we get Bree tested?"

"Huh?" Tanong ni Ella, because until now she's clueless as f**k.

"Bree? That kid? Lazaro this isn't the right time for jokes okay?" Sabi ni Topher. Binuhat ni Sam si Aubrey.

"I’m one hundred percent sure her blood will match Dom's, a hundred percent guarantee." Sabi ni Sam.

"We need that kid's parents’ consent..." sabi ni Topher.

"I’m her mom... I can’t really explain right now okay? But let's do this for Dom..." sabi ni Sam and Bree wrapped her arms around her mommy's neck.

"Mommy? Bakit po? Where's mama?" Tanong ni Aubrey habang naglalakad sila papunta sa laboratory.

"Baby? Mama's sick. She needs some blood and you can help by giving her some... You okay with that?" Tanong ni Sam and Bree nods kahit natatakot siya. "You're a very brave baby, I know you can do that."

"Im her little ninja.." Aubrey whispered and Sam nods and smile, tears almost fell on that instant.

"Yes you are Baby..." sabi ni Sam and they got Aubrey checked and it did match.

Habang naghihintay sila sa waiting area, natutulog si Bree habang yakap siya ni Sam. Napansin ni Sam na kanina pang may gustong gustong itanong yung dalawa - Topher and Ella - sakanya, so she decided to explain as clearly as possible.

"Nagtataka kayong dalawa kung anong nangyayari?" Tanong ni Sam, Topher and Ella nod fast. "I'll make this believable as possible okay? I'll try." Sabi ni Sam at walang nagawa yung dalawa kundi tumango. "On Topher's 'dope' party nung december, a strange thing happened. Dom and I..." Sam told the whole story sa dalawa. "... then we lost her after that, then after months nakita ko na lang si Bree kanina and I cant be more happier, when I saw her. She's mine and Dom's daughter. Believe it or not, that's the truth."

"Im gonna pick not, dahil imposible but she just saved my bestfriend... I believe you poopie." Sabi ni Topher and Sam rolled their eyes.

"Im afraid but kamuka talaga siya ni Dom..." sabi ni Ella.

"Ang cute na bata..." sabi ni Topher and Sam slowly lift Aubrey at pinabuhat kay Topher.

Pagkuha ni Topher nagising si Aubrey pero pinikit niya ulit yung mga mata niya nang makita niyang si Topher yun. Topher beamed at Sam and she nods and smile.

"She knows you Toph..." sabi ni Sam.

"Talaga? Ako ba ninong niya?" Tanong ni Topher and Ella smiled while shaking her head.

"Actually Hindi. You're Dylan's, our son." Sabi ni Sam and Topher nod proudly. But the moment was cut when Dom's father came.

"Sir!" Topher said as he stood up.

"Nakaduty ako, Im so sorry. Kamusta na siya? Sino yung donor?" Tanong ng Daddy ni Dom and Topher looks at Sam. Tumayo si Sam, at lumapit kay Topher.

"Si Bree po..." sabi ni Sam and Dom's father look at the kid.

Then he looked at Sam. "Can I talk to you?" Si Ella at Topher muna ang nagalaga kay Aubrey.

When they got to a distance umupo sila sa mga umupuan sa hallway.

"I’m so sorry po sa inasal ko kahapon, Im just really shock about what happened at di ko na po nacontrol-"

"Miss Lazaro, can I call you Sam?"

"Yes po..."

"Sam, it’s my fault. Im sorry. You saved my daughter, not just here, from everything. Im sorry for behaving like that the last time, I apologized."

"Tito its okay, isa lang naman ang gusto nating lahat. Na gumising na si Dom." Sabi ni Sam and she looked at Aubrey. "Siya na lang hinihintay namin..."

Maybe an hour or two had passed lumabas na yung doctor. They all stood up at buhat ni Sam si Bree.

"Doc Valdez..." the guy greeted Dom's father and he smiled. "She was beaten that cause her all the blood but she's okay on that department now. The only problem will be her broken ribs, it'll take a while to recover, but she will be soon. No brain damages, that's all."

"Pwede na po ba namin siyang makita?" Tanong ni Topher.

"Yes. Just dont stress her out." Sabi nung doctor at nagpaalam na siya. Parang nahugutan ng tinik si Sam sa narinig niya.

Pumasok sila sa kwarto and Dom smiled nang makita niya silang apat.

"Wow... Is it Christmas already-" Tanong ni Dom but she stopped when she saw Aubrey tailing behind Sam. "Oh my gosh," Dom muttered at tumingin siya kay Sam. Sam nods and gave her a smile. "Hey my little bree-bree..." Dom cooed.

"Mama..." Aubrey said in a whisper, frowned and tears fell in her eyes. She run towards the bed and it gained laughs from the other four nang hindi makasampa sa kama si Aubrey, Dom smiled. "Mommy..." Aubrey called for help and Sam shakes her head at binuhat si Bree at pinaupo sa kama ni Dom. Yung Daddy naman ni Dom ang nalilito ngayon, pero di na siya nagtanong.

Humiga si Aubrey sa tabi ni Dom at niyakap niya yung Mama niya, medyo nasaktan si Dom kaya papaalisin na sana ni Sam si Bree but Dom stopped her and mouthed 'Its okay'.

"Baka gusto mo magthank you sa pagbuhat ko sayo dito Dom?" Topher announced as he walk towards the bed.

Dom looked at Topher and smiled. "Thanks, Toph." Sabi ni Dom and winked. "And you too Ells, thank you." Then Dom saw her Dad. "Dad..."

"Sweetie Im sorry. Its my fault, hindi ko na alam yung mga nangyayari sayo, and I want to make things up with you. For the lost time, pag galing mo gusto ko sanang dumalaw sa puntod ng Mommy mo." Sabi ng Daddy ni Dom and she let a tear fell in her eyes.

"Thanks Dad..." sabi ni Dom and her dad walk up to her and kissed her forehead.

"Oh sige, we should go. I know you need your 'me' time with those two." Sabi ng Daddy ni Dom and he's really changed. "I love you, sweetie."

"I love you too Dad..." sabi ni Dom and the three exited the room, leaving Dom, Sam and Aubrey.

"So... how's mommy?" Dom asked Aubrey, then Sam pulled a chair para makaupo sa tabi ng kama ni Dom.

Aubrey looked at Sam and her mommy smiled at her, Aubrey giggled and looked at Dom. "She's on her best behavior Mama..." sabi ni Aubrey at napatawa si Sam at Dom.

"Oh, she is?" Dom asked and Aubrey nods.

"Dom? Excuse me? Pahiram kay Bree..." Ella called as she peek inside the room her head sticking out of the door.

"Pahiram? Besh ginawa niyo namang laruan yung baby ko..." sabi ni Sam.

"Whatever..." sabi ni Ella and Aubrey jumped out of the bed at sumama kay Ella. Kumapit na siya kay Ella pero bumalik siya para ikiss si Sam. "Be back later Besh!" Then the door shut.

There came an awkward quiet moment between the two.

"Sam? Tubig nga..." utos ni Dom and binigyan naman agad siya ni Sam ng tubig. "Thanks..."

"So... How are you feeling?"

"Not okay..."

"Right. Of course. Bobo ko naman." Sabi ni Sam and Dom smiled at her. "What?!"

"Why are you so nervous?" Dom asked and Sam shakes her head.

"Ano? Hindi ah." Sabi ni Sam and she blushed. "I uhm... I just miss you."

"Agad?"

"Shut up." Sabi ni Sam. "Can I hug you now?"

"Sure. Dahan dahan ka lang." Sabi ni Dom and parang walang narinig si Sam dahil ang higpit ng yakap niya kay Dom. "Poopie, you can let go of me now. Baka mapatay mo naman ako." Sam didn't see Dom's face when she said that but Sam knew she was teasing.

Still hugging Dom, Sam said, "Only if you promise me one thing."

"Depends," Dom said silently.

"Don't ever scare me like that again," Sam said with pure sincerity.

Silence.

When no reply came from Dom, Sam knew she had to say it.

"I don't wanna lose you, Dom, I love you," said Sam with all the courage she had in her. She didn't stop to think of what Dom might think of it. But she don’t have to wait, because Dom replied to her immediately.

"I love you too..." said Dom and Sam finally let go of her.

"Really?" Sam asked in shock as she pulled away.

"Yes, especially now." Sabi ni Dom.

Topher, Ella, and Bree were about to enter the room but they saw the two were about to kiss so they just stayed behind the door... watching.

The first time na nakita nilang nagkiss yung dalawa and they both smiled, same as Aubrey.

When they broke from the kiss Dom wipe her lips teasingly as if Sam has some kind of disease or something. Sam rolled her eyes and hit Dom in her shoulders that gain a low groan from Dom.

"Ouch!" Dom shouted and Sam smiled with satisfaction.

"You had it coming..." sabi ni Sam and they smiled.

Topher looked at Ella and saw the girl smiling like a freaking idiot.

"Bakit ka naman nakangiti?" Tanong ni Topher.

"Nothing, ang sarap nila tingnan." Sabi ni Ella.

"Huh?"

"The hot moody asshole and the girl who is her sunshine and happiness, but can totally kick her ass when she's being an idiot... Si Dom at Besh." Sabi ni Ella and Topher giggled and nods in agreement.

"Did you just call Dom the hot moody asshole?" Topher asked and Ella rolled her eyes.

"Shut your mouth, You know what I mean." Sabi ni Ella and she pushed Topher inside and they joined the two.
