Chapter 13: Come Back

Sam dragged Toni outside at galit na galit siya. Sumunod naman si Ella sakanila, kung kailangan lang ng Sam ng back up.

"Ano?! Bakit ka nandito?" Tanong ni Sam.

"Kung mag nagawa ako sorry. Please Sam, bumalik ka na sa akin." Sabi ni Toni.

"Toni please. Im sorry. Ayaw kong makasakit, ayaw kong masaktan ka. Hindi na kita mahal." Sabi ni Sam.

"Bakit? Kanino mo ko pinagpalit ha?! Dahil hindi mo na ako mahal maghahanap ka ng iba?!"

"Hindi mo ba naiintindihan?! Ayokong magsinungaling sayo! Hindi na kita mahal." Sabi ni Sam.

"Sino ba yang ipinalit mo sakin ah?! Sino?! Si Topher ba?!" Tanong ni Toni at hindi sumasagot si Sam. "Ano! Sino ba yang-"

"Si Dominique..." Sam answered silently.

"W-what?"

"Si Dominique. Toni siya ang mahal ko, Im sorry dahil nadamay ka sa gulong to." Sabi ni Sam, naguguilty naman talaga siya.

"That b***h?! So kaya pala siya nagcelebrate ng Christmas sa bahay niyo? Kaya pala hindi mo nirereplyan text ko? Bakit ipinalit mo sakin yun? Dahil mas sikat na siya sa akin? Ha? Sam?" Tanong ni Toni and Sam launch herself kay Toni at sinampal niya yung ex boyfriend niya. Ella's jaw fell sa nakita niya, di niya alam na ganto na pala kalalim yung feelings ni Sam for Dominique.

"How dare you! Well good to know na ganyan ka, hindi na ako naguguilty na nakipagbreak ako sayo!!!" Sabi ni Sam at tinulak niya si Toni. Napaupo naman si Toni sa semento at galit din kay Sam at Dom.

"You're a b***h!!!" Sigaw ni Toni as his fist clenched tightly.

"I've been called worse!" Sam shouted back.

"Yeah like what? Poo poo girl?" Toni taunted Sam.

"No. Your girlfriend" sabi ni Sam and Ella nods in disagreement as Sam dragged her inside.

"Wow. Besh, I didn't know you have that in you!" Sabi ni Ella and Sam nods proudly.

"Ah! That feels so good!" Sabi ni Sam.

"Speaking of poo poo... Nasaan yun?" Tanong ni Ella.

"Hindi ko nga din alam eh." Sabi ni Sam as she look around. "Nakakainis talaga tong si Toni! Teka Besh naiihi na ako." Sabi ni Sam at nakita niyang walang pila sa CR sa baba kaya tumakbo siya doon at sinamahan siya ni Ella.

Nung nasa loob si Sam ng CR may narinig silang sigaw. Nagmadali si Sam palabas at nakita niya si Ella na nasa may hagdan nakasilip.

"Besh!" Sigaw ni Sam at di siya nilingon ni Ella na nakatingin pa din sa taas. "Ano yon-"

"Oh my gosh! Si Dominique!!!" Narinig nila at biglang kinabahan si Sam so she dragged Ella upstairs. Hirap na hirap silang makadaan.

"Sinong Dominique?" Tanong ni Sam habang naglalakad sila. "Sinong Dominique? Anong nangyari?" And when Sam reached the last step on the stairs at nakita niyang bukas yung bathroom door her heart sank in the deep. Then she heard a voice inside of her.

"Can I tell you something?" Sam nods "I don't know if what I'm about to tell you will impact you or not. I know you won't remember it when you get back, but I feel like it might stick to you subconsciously... We're smart so I need to try, It's important, so important."

"O-kay?" Sam said as she listens attentively.

"You're going to have a choice one day Sam. You're going to be at a party and you're going to have to decide whether to use the bathroom there or just wait until you get home. Don't wait. Use the bathroom."

"O-kay... Wait. What?"

Older Sam's face was grim. "I don't want to think about what would have happened if I hadn't gone to the bathroom, Sam. I'm sure my life would have been perfectly fine, but so much is different because I made that choice... Im happy now because I made that choice." Older Sam said and her young self looked at her.

Hindi na makagalaw si Sam sa kinatatayuan niya. She dont have to see what's inside, she knows that 'her Dominique' is the one inside.

"Sam?" Tanong ni Ella and when she saw na hindi na makausap si Sam naglakad siya para tingnan yung commotion. "Oh my god." Sabi ni Ella at parang hinila yung mga lamang loob niya. She saw Topher inside at inaayos na si Dom para buhatin, puro dugo yung sahig.

"Ella! Nasaan si Lazaro?! Can you clear these people! Hindi ko malabas si Dom!" Sigaw ni Topher and Ella nods as a tear fell from her eye.

"Everybody! This party is over! Umalis na pong lahat!" Sigaw ni Ella. "Im sorry but everyone please umalis kayo-" napatigil si Ella when she saw Sam leaning on the wall for her balance. "Besh-"

"CAN EVERYBODY PLEASE!!!! MOVE OUT!!!" Sam shouted and Ella approached her at niyakap naman siya. Then nakalabas na si Topher carrying Dom's almost lifeless body. Paglabas nila may ambulance na dahil kinontact na ni Topher earlier.

Ella guided Sam downstairs at nakatingin habang sinasakay si Dom sa ambulansiya.

"De Jesus! Hindi tayo pwedeng sumabay kay Dom, magdrive kayo ni Lazaro. Sundan niyo kami." Sabi ni Topher and the door closes.

Ella fumbled for her keys sa bulsa niya as she drag Sam papunta sa kotse niya. Pagupo nila sa loob before Ella start her car tumingin siya kay Sam.

"Besh can you please say something?" Ella asked.

"Besh go. Just drive the f*****g car." Sabi ni Sam at nagmadali naman si Ella. The car ride was silent until Sam broke down. "Besh I f****d up, oh my gosh! I knew this was coming! I should've-Ugh!!!" Sam shouted in frustration and Ella stopped the car

"Besh ano bang pinagsasabi mo?! She's gonna be okay!"

"What if not? The other Sam made it to the bathroom-AND I DON'T!" Sam shouted and Ella looked at her incredulously.

"W-what!?"

"Just.. J-just go!" Sabi ni Sam as she shakes her head. Pagdating ni Ella sa hospita tinanong agad nila yung room ni Dominique.

Derederecho lang sila ng mapatigil si Ella. Napatingin si Sam at nakita niya nang nakatayo yung Daddy ni Dom habang pinapagalitan si Topher.

"Oh my gosh Daddy ni Dom..." sabi ni Ella.

"I know." Sabi ni Sam.

"Wait? Kailan mo nakita yung Daddy ni Dom?" Tanong ni Ella.

"Uh? Uhm... Never pa. Kamuka niya lang." Sabi ni Sam.

Naglakad na silang dalawa papunta kay Topher at sa Daddy ni Dom.

"Topher! Ganto ba ang pagbabantay mo sa anak ko? Madadatnan ko na lang nasa hospital?! Kung hindi pa ako tinawagan ng mga kilala kong doctor dito di ko pa malalaman?!" Galit na galit na sigaw ng Daddy ni Dom

"Tito Im so sorry. Hindi ko po alam talaga-"

"Sinong gumawa nito?!"

"Hindi ko po-"

"Eh anong alam mo?! Mag party?! I’m calling your mom-"

"Excuse me..." Sam interrupted and Dom's Dad look at her.

"B-besh.." Ella called Sam worriedly.

"Who are you?" Tanong ng Daddy ni Dom kay Sam.

"I’m Dom's girlfriend..." Sam said as she keeps her face up.

"W-what?"

"Sir im going to say this as politely as possible." Sabi ni Sam, Ella and Topher were just watching her habang nakatingin lang sakanya yung Daddy ni Dom na nakakunot na yung ulo. Sam took a deep breath before magsalita ulit. "First of all how dare you sir talk to Mr. Ravena like that-"

"Lazaro-" magsasalita pa lang si Topher hinampas na siya ni Ella.

"Magthank you ka na lang." Sabi ni Ella and Topher whisper a silent thank you.

"He took care of Dom when you can't and you won’t. He's always with her no matter what, ilang beses kong nakitang pinagtanggol ni Topher si Dom, and sir with all your respect, how would you know that Dom had or has a girlfriend if you're not around. Its not just our fault sir, stop blaming us. All we want for Dom is her happiness and if you were to ask her, you're far from being one of that. She hated herself, blaming for the death of her own mother. That's pretty ridiculous... sir."

Then Dom's father excused himself, after niya makaalis pinuntahan na ni Sam, Ella at Topher si Dom.

"Wow Lazaro. That was the first time na nakita ko si Tito na nagulat." Sabi ni Topher as he walk beside Sam. "Thank you."

"I did what I think was right okay?" Sabi ni Sam and Ella smiled at how this freak came this far, she has known Sam since high school, and she's not a friend material person, she excludes herself from everybody, she talks to books more than people.

"Besh, Im so proud of you." Hindi alam ni Ella na napalakas yung sinabi niya, Sam smiled at her and held her hands.

"Besh that's how much I love this idiot." Sabi ni Sam kay Ella as she looks at Dom.

"Nasa tabi tabi lang pala makakapagpatino sa bestfriend ko." Sabi ni Topher as she smiles at Sam. "I really hope that you two really are for each other, believe it or not Lazaro, Im rooting for you now."

"I really hope too. I want us." Sabi ni Sam and a tear fell from her eyes. Then her phone beeped at binasa ni Sam yung text as she wipes her face.

From Jia: Ate Sam some things came up, Amy's sorority surrendered. Sila yung may kasalanan kay captain.

"Oh my gosh. Amy's sorority did this to Dom." Sabi ni Sam and she looked at Ella and Topher. "They surrendered... I want them expelled." Then tumingin siya kay Ella. "Besh, samahan mo ko" then tumingin siya kay Topher. "Please look out for her. Text me or Ella kung may progress."

"Okay. Kayo ng bahala." Sabi ni Topher and nagdrive na ulit si Ella papunta sa campus. Unfortunately hindi pa nakakarating sa dean yung problema dahil, for damn sake its 2am in the morning. Sam decided to take some Dom's clothes for tomorrow, and kung makikita niya si Amy sa room.

Pagpunta nila Sam sa floor nila Dom, she fumbled for Dom's room key. But they stopped their way when they saw that the room was slightly opened.

"Besh! Oh my gosh!" Ella shouted alarmed. "Do.you think sinira nila yung gamit ni Dom?!" Tanong ni Ella and Sam shakes her head.

"No... no no no no..." Sam muttered as she jogged to Dom's door. "Please no. They can't-" but Sam’s heart's stopped when she saw Dom's room. She wanted to cry, but she can’t. All she can do was smile, then tears run down her face.

"Mommy!!!" Aubrey run to her arms and Sam hugged the child so tight as Ella watch what the hell was happening.

"Besh?" Ella called Sam.

"Mommy!!! I-Im lost, I-" Bree muttered as she cry.

"Sush... Baby it’s okay. Don't cry-"

"Besh?"

"Mommy's here..." sabi ni Sam and she felt Aubrey nod in her chest then the kid looked at her, and Sam cant explain how much she missed this angelic face.

"Where's Mama-"

"Besh what the hell-"

But before Aubrey and Ella can finish what they were saying Sam's phone ring.

It's Topher.

"Samantha!!!" Topher shouted from the other line. "Something happened, came here! Its an emergency. We're losing her!!!" And Sam didn't need to here what's next, she lost her grip on her phone and it fell on the floor. Sam started crying and Aubrey hugged her. Ella picked up her phone at siya ang nakinig sa sinasabi ni Topher.

We're losing her?

It kept repeating on Sam's head, but Aubrey's infont of her... again. What is happening?!
