The Twist II

Its time. The Lazaros are all in the living room with Dom and Sam. Dianne's not looking at the Time travelers because she's a bit sad, Dylan cried and Aubrey still didn't know what's happening, well at least Dylan told her that Dom and Sam are like girlfriends, that's why Aubrey never ask why they're always together.

Older Dom took a step papalapit sa dalawa.

"I just hope na pagbalik niyo makita niyo ulit yung way para maging ganyan kayong dalawa..." Older Dom said as her wife walk towards them and wrapped her arms around Dominique's waist.

"I really hope so..." Dom said as she grab Sam's hands. Sam gave her hands and she can feel that Dom's scared, she is too.

Older Sam walks towards the two.

"Remember, always follow your instincts. If you felt like you need to find each other. Do it. Ugh. It’s really frustrating that I want you two to remember everything and yet alam kong hindi pwede..." Older Sam said and she felt a comforting hand from her wife. "Sorry hon, baby hormones."

"It’s okay.." Older Dom said and she kissed Older Sam’s cheek. Then she looked at the two. "Have a safe trip back... it'll hurt"

"Oh my gosh? Yung parang kung paano kami napunta dito?" Dom asked and her palms keep sweating on Sam's.

"Worse..." Older Sam said.

"Oh gosh.." Sam said and she gripped Dom's hands tighter as their fingers interlocked with each other.

"I'll miss you guys.." Dylan said as she gave the two a hug.

"Me too..." Dianne said and her parents smile because Di showed her vulnerability. Aubrey joined the hug.

"So the countdown will start... You'll both disappear in 1... We dont have to see it..." Older Dom said and all of them just nods. She's still the authority.

They gave a final group hug with the two. Samantha, Sam, and Dylan were crying. As Dominique, Dom, and Dianne kept their tears on the edge of their eyes. Aubrey's still confused as f**k.

"Look... Mommy's genes make you a cry baby.." Dianne said as she watch the three cry. Then her mom shot her a glare. "Nope, it’s not baby hormones this time mom..."

Then when the hug breaks, Samantha hugged her wife. Dylan runs to her sister and cry on her shoulders like a baby. Dom pulled Sam towards her and dried her tears.

"So... I guess this is it?" Dom asked and her older counterpart nods. She gave Sam’s hand a tight gripped and they start to move.

"Bye..." Sam muttered and the two starts to walk on their way to the backyard and wait for the time.

The two leave the family really quiet in the living room. They're watching a new year party on the TV and continue their life.

"Mommy... Can I get my milk on the fridge please?" Aubrey asked her mother.

"Yes, honey... Ofcourse" Then Older Sam looked at Dylan. "Help your sister."

"Mommy Im okay. Ate Dim told me, Im, a big girl now..."

"She did?"

"Yeah.."

"Okay honey..."

Dom and Sam were standing in the backyard, as they held each other’s hand.

"So this is it huh?" Sam asked Dom.

"I guess... You seem disappointed." Dom said with a smirk and Sam pats her shoulders. Then they giggled and the giggles turns into silence. They just stare at each other.

"I can’t believe we became friends..." Sam said to kill the silence.

"I can’t believe I marry you.." Dom said and Sam laugh.

"Yeah... that too... Ang weird..." Sabi ni Sam and she looked down. Sam cheeks turn red.

"Hey..." Dom called her and Sam looked up.

"I want to kiss you," Sam finally said, pushing the awkwardness away. She leaned closer just enough and then waited.

Their faces were so close that they were breathing the same air. Dom's eyes were wide and panicked, but she hadn't turned Sam's offer yet, and to be honest nagkiss naman na sila.

"Im not...going to force me on you. You have to tell me, kasi Dom..." she cut off and looked away. "Wala naman tayong maaalala pagbalik, and I just want to feel you, just one more time..." The emotion of the moment was just too big for Dom,bumibilis yung kabog ng dibdib ni Dom and then Sam blinked away some tears before she could continue. "You have to tell me that you want it."

To Dom, it felt like there was no air in her lungs. She was silent for so long that Sam feared she had misinterpreted the moment and ducked her head in shame.

"Do it," Dom finally said, pakiramdam ni Dom naalis lahat ng nabuong pressure sa dibdib niya. She want to kill herself for making Sam feel she's rejecting her.

Sam looked up so fast that Dom thought her head might just keep going and fly right off her neck.

"Ano?" Sam asked in shock. She knew Dom will turn her down, but no.

"I want you to kiss me." Dom said and if Topher was watching this masasapak niya si Dom sa sobrang awkward niya sa harap ng isang babaeng gusto niya naman. "Please.." Dom added to pushed Sam's fear to be rejected.

Sam didn't need to be asked more than twice. Within seconds there was no longer any space between their lips. She could feel her heart swelling and rending apart even with such a gentle touch and it made her marvel at the fact that it would get better when they were more passionately entangled. That understanding alone made her ache and want for it.

They were moving on instinct. There was no calculation in either of them. Just feeling.

Dom's brain died a small death and then exploded in color and a riot of glee that even the negative aspects of her mental process couldn't override.

Then they just pulled apart slowly, until Sam just couldn't stand it anymore and her brain, buzzing to capacity, let loose.

Dom almost muttered the word 'air' because she needed it right now, pero nakatingin lang siya kay Sam, she want to kiss her once again, but she can see that Sam is talking so fast, her mouth moving animatedly, like when she reported something infront of the class. But the kiss was defeaning, Dom cant hear anything Sam were saying to her, pero kitang kita niya na salita ng salita si Sam. Then her hearing ability is coming back. Then she picked up what the other girl was saying.

"...Ah! Dom! Dom! Alam ko na! I'll bring this up with my therapist when we get back to our time. Oh! But I won't remember. I wonder if there's some sort of way I can carry along a note or something that will prompt this to become an issue for me without freaking myself out. Oh gosh! Dom! Anong gagawin-"

"Sam?"

"Ano?"

"Stop talking. You're annoying." Dom told her in a Dominique Valdez tone, commanding, bossy and powerful. She miss this side of Dom na di niya akalaing mamimiss niya.

Sam smiled at the thought. She couldn't count how many times she had heard that phrase in her life na sinasabi sakanya, naririnig niya yan lagi sa mama niya, sa papa niya, even kay trevor, isama pa si ella at si Anthony, almost everyone na makakausap niya.

But she had never heard it with that tone or with those deep brown eyes staring back at her, because she and Dom never talk, never. So yeah, this time Sam smiled instead of huffing and storming out. And then she leaned in to kiss some sanity back into Dom.

"Dont forget me..." Sam said in desperation as she ended the kiss. She THINKS she has fallen in love with Dom.

"I won’t remember anything else...." Dom said in defeat. Sam nods because she knew the girl was right.

Then they felt the burning pain again. Their eyes met, in shocked. Dom hugged Sam just like how she held Sam nung ililigtas niya si Sam sa muntik nitong pagkakabangga nung party.

"Dom..."

"Shh..."

"I dont want to say this dahil di naman ako sure... But..." Sam said and their eyes met, the burning pain is back, their chest was pressed against each other, their breathing became heavier. "I think I love-"

Then the air sucked them in. Then the light from the fireworks in the sky lightened the backyard. Then the two can feel a big light circling their bodies. The two felt a hand wrapped around their hips. They looked down but poof! They're gone.

Dom and Sam can even contain the pain anymore, it’s the feeling like they're sucked in a black hole. Then they felt a ground, the side road they’re in. They felt rolling on the side road as they hugged each other.

Naramdaman nilang parang nabibiyak nanaman yung ulo nila as they rolled on the dirt side road. As they landed and settled on the ground. Sam heard someone.

"Ahhhh!" She looked to her right and saw Dom crying in pain.

"Dom!!! Dom!!! Are you okay?!" Sam asked and she held Dom's head. "Oh gosh, you're bleeding? Are you? Hey Dom!"

"s**t!" Dom's eyes grew wide in shock. "f*****g hell!"

"Oh my gosh!!!" Sam said it back.

"Why-"

"You do? Dom... Bakit naaalalal ko?" Sam asked.

"Jesus! Whoa!" Dom said as she adjust herself from the ground. Then they saw a car coming.

"s**t boyfriend ko!" Sam said and she literally pulled Dom to the bushes. "I text him to come to pick me up..."

"Sam what the hell! Aray!" Dom shouted but Sam covered her mouth.

"We did something wrong! Dapat di natin naaalala to!" Sam said,

She's in love with Dom oh my gosh what!?

"Dont ask me! Hindi ko alam kung saan tayo nagkamali-" then Dom paused they heard a muffled cry. Nagkatitigan silang dalawa. Naglakad si Sam papunta sa naririnig nila and Dom crawled on the ground. Then they saw something they didnt want to see.

"Aubrey?!!?!??!" Sigaw nilang dalawa as their eyes darted in Aubrey's direction. The girl is crying, she had a scratch on her face. It scarred Sam's heart when she saw her daughter like this.

"Oh fuck... Kill me..." Dom said and di siya pinansin ni Sam. Sam run towards Aubrey and held the kid in her arms.

"Shh... Mommy's here. Dont cry little bree bree..." Sam said and Dom felt like her chest erupted like a volcano.

Fuck. My. Life.

She can almost hear Granny Dom's "I know..." but she didn't. It terrifies her.
