ANNIKA'S POV Mom's words had distracted me. I was caught off guard, and now, I couldn't help but to dwell on it. Remembering what happened last night, I realized that I had let my anger get the best of me. I hadn't been rational. I didn't even give him the benefit of the doubt. I simply accused him based on what I perceived of the image that was sent to me. But. . .on the other hand, I know I had every reason to doubt him.
