Chapter Twenty

Three days and Nicole get better. She must try to be happy again for a change. She need to takes a new challenge for her better life. She must face the consequences for her miserable life.Thanks to her best friend Ami for being at her side the whole time. Nicole got a warmed shower after having a deep thoughts. She sat down on her swivel chair and she switch on her laptop. She wanted to apply for a new job. She need a new environment.

"How are you? Do you feel great now?" Ami said standing in her room door. Then she slowly opened it wider before she coming in inside. She sat down at the edge of the bed.

Nicole nodded with a smile. "Well, thanks to you." Nicole said turning her chair at Ami. "Thanks to you a got better. Thanks for your loved and your care. I got well because of that. Than you so much," she said having a smile on her face.

"So, did I do a good job for taking care of you?" Ami asked smiling too.

"Yup! If not because of you I won't recover fast. I recovered quickly because you took good care me. You're a good nurse." Nicole said praising her best friend.

"Uhm, you're welcome as always." She replied. "Are you not going to the coffee shop today?" Ami asked staring at her laptop.

Nicole shaked her head.

"Well, I wanted to try another challenge. I wanted a new environment and a stable job. So, I decided to apply as caregiver with this center." She explained to Ami with a serious face.

"What? You want to work as a caregiver?" Ami asked back in disbelief.

"Yes." Nicole nodded. " And beside it's a good opportunity for me to explores too, right?" She said telling to Ami that she should trust her this time. "And I know you can handle the coffee shop even without me. There's Jimmy with you. He can help you at the shop." Nicole continued.

"So you are applying now?" Ami asked with a concerned face. "Are you sure already about it?"

Nicole smile sweetly to Ami.

"Yes. Actually I already send them my resume." She proudly said.

"I know you have a good credential. So they will hire you immediately." Ami said showing her a thumbs up.

"Without a doubt?" Nicole said laughing.

"Aha!" Ami said nodding. "So, tell me that good news when its arrive, okay." She guarantee.

"Sure!" Nicole replied happily.

"I'm going to the coffee shop now." Ami said changing their topics. "Jimmy said we got to be busy today because our famous Devil Cappuccino is very popular. Thanks to JongHyeop the shop was always pack with costumers." Ami said being great full for their business.

"Yes, I know you can take care our business very well. And thanks to him, we got a good cappuccino." Nicole said giggling too. "So, I will let you handle it big boss." She also praised her best friend with highly respect.

"Yes. And good luck for your application Miss Caregiver. Let's celebrate for that when you got hire." Ami said being proud of her too.

"Yes Miss Business Woman. Let's have a party for that." Nicole said with a laughter.

Ami went to the coffee shop without her. She knows Ami was being proud of her and she was proud of her best friend too. Because they wanted to change the way they are living right now. And she wanted her life to be busy as well. Forget the time and a day to pass by. After a few minutes Nicole receive a messaged from her sss. It was from the Children with Disability Center (CDC). They hired her. They accepted her application. It was a great start for her. She jumped with happiness. "Yes! Yes!" She said with a danced and twirled. Maybe, a shopping free with Ami this weekend. Nicole said in her mind. Nicole can't wait for the night so she quickly ran down to the coffee shop to tell Ami the good news.

"Ami! Ami!" Nicole shouted when she entered the shop.

"What? Why?" Ami asked in confusion. "Is there a problem?"

Nicole shaked her head.

"I got hired! I got hired!" She said while jumping with happiness. Ami hold her hand and they both jumping in round. They are both so happy that they need to celebrate it right away.

"Wow! Congratulations. I'm so happy for you, sister." Ami said in a proud voice. "I'm really happy for you."

Nicole hugged Ami.

"Thank you. Thank you so much." She said being truthful. Her tears started to fall. She's crying again. A tears of joy and happiness.

"Do you want to have a spicy chicken and beer?" Jimmy asked them and interrupted their happiness. And he also jumped with them with a round while holding hands. They are so happy like a kids playing a round trip.

"Let's celebrate now!" Ami said being cheerful too.

"Okay! It's my treat!" Nicole said with a high-five to both of them.

Nicole help at the coffee shop. They really got busy because they got a lot of online orders. People are ordering their famous Devil Cappuccino invented by JongHyeop. Nicole suddenly missed him. But she doesn't have a choice but to wait for him to come back. Nicole shakes her head to forget it.

"Tired?" Ami said tapping her back.

"Nope." Nicole said shaking her head with a pouty lips.

"Let's wrapped it up!" Ami said. "Let' closed the shop and let's go to the nearest bar to drink!" She said with a hyped.

"What? Go where?" Nicole asked.

"We are not ordering and drinking here okay. We are going outside." Ami explained.

"Not here?" Nicole said being confused.

"No. Let's go to the bar and get that twirl dance!" Ami said shaking her butts.

Nicole beat Ami in her shoulder.

"Stop being disgusting?" She said laughing at her.

"Well, I heard that bar have a lot of handsome man. So, let's go and meet them." Ami said being cheeky.

"I don't need it, okay. And beside why go there to look if there is Jimmy on your side." Nicole said pointing at their boy friends. "Look at him. He is cute and handsome too like JongHyeop. You can't even notice that," she said non-stop.

"Well, he is not my type." Ami said making a crossed arms.

"Uhm! I will remember that, girl. Don't talk so fast." Nicole said laughing. "I know you have a crush on him." She said teasing Ami."Don't try to lie about it. I saw you staring at him."

"I told you he is not my type." Ami said still refusing.

"Uhm. Okay. Okay." Nicole give up.

They closed the shop. Jimmy is with them too being a good friend and as their bodyguards as well. Nicole and Ami was happy and they enjoyed the night. They party but Nicole controlled herself not to get drunk. There's no JongHyeop to bring her home anymore. Nicole take a sipped of the apple beer and tried to stop thinking of JongHyeop but her heart and her minds keep on popping at her thoughts. She really missed him a lot. She wanted to turn the Earth fast to meet him again for the second time round. And that what makes her excited too. When the right time has come.
