Chapter Nineteen

When Nicole wakes up in the morning she was suffering from a sever headache because she stayed to long at the rain. And now she was sick and laying at bed covered with blanket. Her nose clogged and she was coughing too. At this moment she's having a high fever because of the rain last night. Nicole tried to get up on her bed but her body was in pain. She can't even get up because of her stupidity for soaking in the rain. She doesn't even know where is Ami right now. She check the time in her cellphone. It was almost ten in the morning.

A few minutes passes and her room door opened. It was Ami, holding a bowl of porridge in her hand. It was smoking really hot.

"Did you sleep well? I cooked something for you." Ami said and this moment she was now smiling but with a teary eyes. "You're crazy! I makes me worried again. I thought you already died. What are you doing in the rain? Stupid girl!" She's scolding her.

Nicole shakes her head. Her body was in pain. Her heart too.

"My head is in pain." She said in a soft voice. "And I'm sorry for that stupid action. I'm sorry to makes you worry again." Nicole said with a teary eyes to. She wanted to cry again. Cry for JongHyeop.

Ami sit beside her. "Get up! And eat this." She said." You must eat to gain your energy back. You can't just cry here and let your body got rotten in bed."

"Thank you, Ami." Nicole said being polite at her. She sit comfortable in the bed. She rest her back from the head rest in her bed. Nicole takes the bowl of porridge and she scoop some from the spoon on it. Ami cooked for her. She felt guilty about what happened yesterday. She must apologized to her in a nice way.

"Do you really want to die?" Do you really need to sleep in the rain because of him?" Ami scolded her again. But still her the look on her face was full of concern. "You haven't apologize to me for lying. So don't die yet."

Nicole hugged Ami and this time she bursts in tears. She can't control her emotions anymore. She cried at her shoulder. "I'm sorry, Ami. I'm really sorry," she apologized.

"Gosh! I can't believe this. Stop crying and eat this" Ami said and she saw it she secretly wipes hear tears cause she was crying too. "Stop crying and eat." She said.

"I'll explain it to you." Nicole said.

"Don't bother. I understand now." Ami said. "But for now, eat, sleep and get better. Okay." She replied.

Nicole nodded. And she ate the bowl of porridge. She slowly eat while sobbing. Her heart is broken. She doesn't know when will JongHyeop come back again. All she can remembered is that JongHyeop told her to wait. Wait for him until he return in land again.

Ami tapped her back to eased her pain. "Don't think to much. I know JongHyeop will return," she said trying to give her a comfort.

"We talked last night, in the rain." Nicole said. "There's no assurance yet when he will be back soon," she said in a hoarse voice. Trying to calmed herself and her tears.

"Then try to live your life until he return." Ami replied. "Be happy, cheerful and lovely as always. Don't be coward to live. That's JongHyeop wish for you before he left right? So you must do it."

"I know. But...my heart, I missed him Ami." Nicole said still having a teary eyes. "I will live. I promise to live for him."

"Okay, then do it. Just think he was working in hell, so you must be patient to wait for him and try to accept the fact that you are living in a different world." Ami explained at her with a winked.

"How did you know he's back in hell?" Nicole asked in curiosity.

"Well, last night you kept talking and shouting in your sleep. You kept saying don't go back to hell." Ami explained. But actually lied. She saw everything last night. She heard and witness who is JongHyeop in real life.

"Did I dreamt of him last night?" Nicole asked.

"Uhm, maybe? Or just because you are being delusional cause you missed him." Ami said cracking a jokes and a fake laughed.

Nicole shakes her head.

"I'm not. I did really begged for him not to go back to hell." She said to Ami looking straight at her eyes.

"Well, now that he is back to hell.I should thanks him for letting you alive and not allowing you to die anymore." Ami said.

"I'm sorry Ami." Nicole apologized again. "I'm waiting for the right time to explain it to you and to tell you the truth but I don't have any chance. I got scared cause I know you're going to be mad and angry at me. And I don't want to ruin your friendship with JongHyeop." Nicole explained. "Im really sorry. Please, forgive me." She said with a teary eyes.

Ami hugged her. Telling her that everything is fine now. All she need to do is rest. And think positive how to live her life for a new beginning. Think the best for her and for JongHyeop. After she's done at the porridge Ami gave her a paracetamol to ease her fever and head aches. Ami left her alone to rest and to sleep. Nicole closed her eyes with a heavy heart.

Ami went to the coffee shop alone. But her mind was still with Nicole. She was really worried about her friend. Then her cellphone suddenly received a messages to an unknown person. This person was asking how is Nicole? How is she? How is she feeling right now? Ami got confused who is this unknown person. Ami tried to call that but the unknown person never answer. So, she just ignored it thinking it was spam. But she received another message again.

"Who are you?" Ami send a messaged to that unkowned person.

"Let's meet." The unknown person replies.

Ami got confused. Why this person want to meet her? Nicole shakes her head. She doesn't have a time for that so she ignored again and she deleted all the messages. She put her cellphone on her pocket and she looked outside. Thinking who is that person.

"What's the matter?" Jimmy asked, their friend at the coffee shop.

"Nothing." Ami replied.

"How is Nicole?" He asked again.

"Well, she's sick and she need to rest for a while."

"Sad for her." Jimmy said, shaking his head.

"Well, you don't know anything." Ami said with a high-brows.

"I know something." Jimmy said.

"What do you know?" Ami asked back.

" Nicole and JongHyeop." Jimmy said.

"So what do you know about them?

"They are couples." Jimmy whispered to Ami ear.

Ami hit Jimmy head. "They are not!" Ami said in disbelief.

"Are you jealous?" Jimmy said with a pouty lips.

"I'm not. And stop being delusional too." Ami replied.

"I saw them... I saw them kissing here at the coffee shop. So, I'm not delusional." Jimmy said to her.

"Did you peeped at them?" Ami said with a big eyes.

"No!" Jimmy said raising her hand. "The truth is, I came back to the coffee shop because I forgot my keys. And then I saw a shadow. I thought there's a thief. And when I get closer, I saw them." Jimmy explained.

Ami shaked her head.

"Don't tell to Nicole what you saw. Okay." Ami reminded him. "You better shut your mouth when Nicole come back to work at the coffee shop."

"Why?" Jimmy asked in confusion.

"Just don't talked about it." Ami said.

"Okay." Jimmy answered with a nod.

Ami knows the truth about Nicole and JongHyeop. She knows everything cause she followed them. And she also knows what happened last night. She was there. She heard everything. That's why she's so worried to Nicole condition. Nicole needed her. She must stay with her and take care of her.
