Chapter 12: The One who broke her heart

Nine

Truth is, I once loved someone. I'm not aware that it was love back then. And the only one who knew about it was my clon of course, the other Nine.

I was there watching him. Because that time he was still mine and we loved each other back then and I was never a snake nor Death. The story was probably the saddest part for me. It made me pull out my heart and throw it somewhere since it's useless and I have a new one now.

Because he was devoted to Cherubim back then, he broke up with me back when I was still just a maiden for my lord. He was with me back then. He was my knight, the Power who protected me. And we fall in love. But when he met Cherubim from one of his missions, Keenan changed. As if he acted like he never loved me. It breaks my heart so much that I couldn't even build it again. I thought love last. But it turns out that when the one you love changes and they turn cold to you, it is painful, pitiful, you swallow your pride just to beg again to be with him again.

"Your heart? Does it hurt?"

I bored my eyes on her again.

"No. I don't have a heart anymore," sagot ko sa kanya. "And also, why are you prying in my personal life?"

"I was just curious, mistress," sagot niya.

"Continue," sabi ko avoiding that topic. It's not that I'm actually avoiding it. It's just that the thing happened a long time ago.

"And yes about the war happened in second level of Cythonic of course iniciated by Cherubim himself, he turned himself to shadow and then created the pests using the seed of bloodlife and the stupid diety Selene of the moon, created the shifters clan with the helpnog him of course and about the lesser demons, they are the half-demon. "Where is he? The Cherubim? And the Selene?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"He escaped faking his death of course since Keenan probably awakened from his useless loyalty to that bastard when the two of them fought hard," sagot niya sa akin.

"So he chose to protect that queen of experiment, isn't he?" ani ko.

"Yes and of course because he loves her. I saw how he cares about her and he's always beside her. Plus their s*x are wild everynight. I couldn't count how many bed they have already destroyed from their night activities," aniya pa.

"Erm about that, mistress," aniya. "Uhm I think that will be a big problem," sagot niya na hindi sigurado sa sasabihin.

"Big problem?"

"Then I will destroy it myself," sagot ko sa kanya.

"I need you to do something for me, Nine," sabi ko.

"What do you want to do, mistress?"

"Keep an eye on that Queen of pests and Keenan. I will pay a visit to this Deity on the moon and I might be going to free someone I know back then," sagot ko sa kanya.

"As you wish my mistress," sagot niya before vanishing.

Naiwan akong nakatingin sa boteng ibinigay niya.

"Hmmm. So tell me, what happened to the little rabbit that Sin instructed to look out for you. And why you followed someone who isn't worthy to be your master," sabi ko sa nasa bote.

Nakita kong nabuo ang itim na usok doon as if it's begging me to just kill it.

"Sorry, I'm not the one who made you. It is not my right to do that. We shall visit him," sabi ko pa before standing up and stepping into the slit I created in front of me.

"Hello, Sin," bati ko sa itim na usok na nakaupo sa kanyang trono. "It's nice to finally visit your place after so many billion of Eons," sabi ko sa kanya.

"I need to talk to you regarding your pets," sagot ko sa kanya.

Biglang tumuwid ang ulo nito na nanila ang ay nakasalalay sa sandalan ng kanyang trono.

Pinaalis nito ang kanyang mga taga silbi at inutusan isarado ang pintuan ng silid kung saan naroon kami.

"Now, about that," sabi niya at saka tumuwid ng upo.

Ibinato ko sa kanya ang bote kung saan naroon ang isa sa mga pests nito na sa pagkakatanda ko ay nilikha niya upang maging isang madirigma ng kanyang domain, and Cythonic na nasa eight level at walang sino man ang nakakapasok maging ang anak nitong si Satan.

"I thought you created this domain of your impenetrable?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"I did. But that bastard Celestial has his own way to waltz in and take that away even my Puca, the rabbit that is guarding this," aniya.

"I can't believe you let that bastard enter your domain. He made us look so stupid," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Indeed. I sent three of my best men to look for him but the bastard is sneaky s**t. My men can't find him," aniya.

"Leave Cherubim to me. The bastard deserved to be slain in my hands. He stepped my pride to death and erased me like I'm a freaking weak. I can't let that happen again. He didn't just insult me but he toyed with me and took advantage of my sleep so I decided that never again will I go to slumber during my skin changing," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Is that even possible? Even Elohim goes through hibernation and I go to sleep," sagot niya.

"Yes. As long as I remain like this," sagot ko sa kanya pertaining my celestial look. Long gray hair, wine red eyes, button nose and a lips that is pale red, all of my old looks when I was still a maiden.

"How about your monstrous snake form? You know you never stop growing," aniya.

He also has the celestial look but Sin's real appearance is black smoke. And once in a while he change into that appearance.

"I know that and that's why it is tattooed all over my body. And also enough about that, I must warn you about the upcoming war. Everyone is the enemy, even your precious son," sabi ko sa kanya.

"Yes, I have been warned."

"The creatures that left us to watch growed their horns. They already broke the Order. And they will try to eliminate us. If you wish to join me, I will gladly accept it in the future," sabi ko sa kanya. "Think about it, Sin," sabi ko pa before vanishing myself and returning to Axis Mundi.
