CHAPTER 10: Ein

Ein

Khestramore .

This is the perfect world once created by my sister. She, out of thousand Archons, was the only one who thought of creating a once beautiful world like this. She welcomes the creature that has been tasked to live to the planet she promised to make to the one once called a Chief that is now gone and dead.

This is the world my little sister defended that ended this life. The war between Archons was the one that brought the demise to this world, and I was one of them, an Archon that is hungry for power, the one who led his precious sister to her death.

The Khisians, name of the creatures living here, are now worshipping the top Archons that won the battle which I belong to.

That is what archons are. Blood related, love of your life, friends, archons war don't honor it. It's a battle of survival. Survival of the fittest. When it comes to my sister whom I tried to save but I failed. I can only mourn for her death and try to keep the peace in this world. And to be honored by the other archons, I must be one of those who reign up.

Tumalikod sila sa totoong lumikha sa kanila. Until such time, they completely forgot who created them.

Habang binabagtas ng aking mga paa ang lugar patungo sa isang paborito kong lugar ngunit bigla na lamang sumalubong sa akin ang mga tumatakbo at takot na takot na mga Elven isang uri ng Khisians na nakatira dito sa Alfar, nation of Elves.

If the two forces of power collide, it will create a massive electro whirlwind that will definitely hit the land and will kill the Elven that are living there.

"Fools!" galit na sabi ko at aakmang tatakbo patungo roon ngunit nahagip ng aking mga mata ang isang presensiya na tumatakbo na patungo roon. Masyadong mabilis itong tumakbo at walang anu-ano ay tumalon ito pataas kasabay colliding it self to the two raging powers.

"Mistress!" narinig kong sabi ng isang batang lalaki habang may hawak hawak na isang basket na minatamis na pagkain. "You can't-"

Hindi nito naituloy ang sasabihin ng isang nakabibinging tunog ng hiniwang bagay ang aming narinig.

Noon ko lang napagtantong isang babae ang tumakbo kanina pasalubong sa dalawang kapangyarihang nagsalpukan base mahaba niyang buhok na tinatangay ng hangin sa itaas habang nakalutang ito sa ere. Nakita kong kinain ng hiwang nagawa sa ere ang dalawang nagbanggaang kapangyarihan ng elemento. Hawah ng babae ang sa magkabilang kamay ang mga Archons na para wala ng mga buhay ito. Walang anuman niyang inihagis ang mga ito sa iba't-ibang direksyon at saka naglaho na lang bigla at walang anumang lumitaw sa harapan ng batang lalaki na nakasuot na ng hooded cloak na kung saan ay natatakpan na ang kanyang mukha.

"Let's go," sabi niya sa bata at tuluyan ng umalis sa lugar kung saan ako naroroon.

"Wow," narinig kong may nagsalita. "Impressive," ani pa ng boses.

Nilingon ko iyon at nakita ko roon si Mnemosyne, Archon of Vision. She's not elemental nor pillars of element but she's unique in her own way because she can see past and future. Someone like her is labelled as off limits. She doesn't label herself as an Archon, for her, she's an ordinary Khisian and my sister's follower and priestess. At isa itong bulag. Unlike my sister who is Dimensional Archon, she can see what a naked eyes can't see.

"What are you doing here, Syne?" tanong ko sa kanya bago nag-crossed arm.

"To witness the scene that I saw a few days ago," sagot niya sa akin.

"So you're expecting this to happen?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Yes."

"Do you know who is she? Is she a newborn Archon? Is she a Dimensional Archon?" sunod sunod na tanong ko. All I know is that there are only two dimensional archon ever existed. One is my sister who posses Aether power and then one is the Nether power. The one who have that power disappeared a long time ago and never seen until now.

"Archon you say? The answer is no," seryoso niyang sabi habang nakatitig ang mga bulag niyang mata sa kawalan.

"Then who is she? What is her name?" curious kong tanong sa kanya.

She smiled at me.

"I cannot tell you both her name and what she is. But one thing I can tell you is that she's beyond anyone Archon's power even the strongest of us. Did she awaken your Archon's curiosity, Ein? Sorry to say but I'm suggesting you distance yourself from her. She's something else neither of us can handle," sagot niya na bigla na lamang naglaho.

I followed the two. Although nakasanayan na at kabilang na rin sa tradisyon ng pagsusuot ng mga Khisians ang hooded cloak, gustong-gusto kong makita ang mukha ng babaeng hindi ko alam kung bakit napukaw ang akin kuryosidad.

"Try this mistress," nakangiting sabi ng batang lalaki sa babae pagkatapos kumuha ng pagkain sa isa sa mga stall na naroon.

"Oh, this is delicious. What is this name?" tanong nito sa bata.

"Hanami puff," sagot nito. "You can eat more mistress as much as you want," anito pa.

Tahimik akong nakikinig sa isang sulok. Waiting for my chance to get alone and confront the girl.

"I'll go and look around for another treats, mistress. I'll be back," sabi ng bata sa nakaupong babae.

"Okay. Be back before midnight. Have fun eating," sagot nito sa bata.

Nakit kong nagmamadaling tumakbo palayo ang bata at humalo sa mga elven na naglalakad-lakad lang at tumitingin-tingin sa mga panindang pagkain ng mga naglalako roon.

"You've been following me. What do you want, Archon?" tanong bigla ng babae.

"Who are you? And what did you do to the two archons? Did you kill them?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"My name is not your business, Archon. And to answer your question about you two stupid, brainless full of themselves comrade, yes I punished them. Acting stupid and not even thinking about the consequence of their stupidity. Life is precious to just be wasted. And life is only given once. If you idiots don't know that, listen to the creatures surrounding you. They aren't like you that possess powers. They are just ordinary living creatures. This world needs order," mahabang sabi niya.

She has a foul mouth but she speaks frankly. Most of the words she said about some Archons are true. I don't deny it but the order? Who does she think she is?

"The order of this world will depend on us Archons," sagot ko sa kanya which earned a laugh from her.

"Don't be stupid, Archon. The order will come soon and it must be followed no matter what whether you like it or not. The one who declares order is absolute and shall be followed. Wait and then you'll see," sagot niya bago tumayo.

Umihip ang malakas na hangin na siyang nagtanggal sa hood ng suot nito kung saan nakatago ang kanyang mukha.

And when the wind finally took off the hood, bumalandra ang mukha niyang nakatago sa aking harapan.

One thing that is noticeable are her round and yet striking wine red eyes. Her bottom nose and the pale red lips only added to her beauty. She looks so innocent and yet you can see the 'I bite' warning all over her face. Something stored inside of my chest. Suddenly the whole me started wanting to know this lady in front of me.

"Mistress, it's time. We have to go," sabi ng bata na hindi ko man lamang napansin na bumalik na pala bitbit ang ang pagkaing pinamili niya.

"Let's go," sagot nito at saka muling isinuot ang hood na siya na namang tumakip sa kanyang mukha. Nagpatiuna itong tumalikod at nagsimulang humakbang palayo sa sa akin.

"Pardon us sir but my lady mistress needs to go home now," sabi ng bata at tumakbo patungo sa babaeng papalayo na.

"She's not an Archon, isn't she?" tanong ko kay Mnemosyne na alam kong nakikinig lang sa amin.

"She's not. She's older, older, older , older than us. And she's not going to like you or date you, if that is what you want to ask," aniya pa.

"I didn't say anything about dating or liking. It's just that I'm curious about her. Is that wrong?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"I don't know. I can't read her. She's surrounded by hard and tall walls that I can't even get in through," seryosong sagot niya. "I don't know what she is but I know she's not like us. Far from us. Superior from us and if she wants she can even kill even the strongest of us. She awakens my curiosity. When I tried to look at her, I always saw her eyes warning me to back off," seryosong sabi ni Mnemosyne.

Hindi ako nakaimik. I wasn't aware that a girl so innocent and yet with an unknown history of life bothered me like this for the first time. Yeah, I've been bedding a lot of women before until now. Nothing interested me until I met this badass girl who easily removed that one hella power in just a second. Who is she? Where did she come from?

"You're late, Ein," sabi sa akin ni Xu matapos kong makarating sa aming buwanang pulong kinaumagahan. I didn't even had a wink of sleep. That wine red eyed lady made me think of her the whole night.

"Sorry," sagot ko sa kanya.

Tumayo ito at saka sinimulan na ang pulong.

"One of my scouts noticed the change in Dahlieka after thousands of eons," umpisa niya.

"Change you say?" tanong ni Cerulean. "What will be the change to the domain of death that is long time ruined and destroyed," aniy.

"According to my scout. He was passing by to check the disturbance of the spear that was protecting this planet. He found blue flames surrounding the gate of Dahlieka. He said that he heard voices. And when he came closer approximately one kilometer from the gate, the blue fire burned his clothes. It was so hot that red fire could not rival it. His speculation is that the domain is being built again. And if what he said is true, then Zephyr will be coming again and bite our asses," sabi ni Xu.

"We're stronger than her. Chill. We defeated her once, and we can do it again," sagot ni Borge.

Napatingin ako sa kanya.

"Yes we did. But with the help of Archangels and Archdemons from Celestial dimension and also our ace leader, Cherubim is nowhere to be found. Didn't you watch how Zephyr fought? Half of the archons that day died fighting her. Without them, we are unsure," sagot ko sa kanya.

"Greatness!"

Sabay-sabay kaming napalingon sa kadarating lang na Xian, Archon's servant.

"What is it? Speak!" utos ni Xu.

"The way through Dahlieka is close. We can no longer walk through it," sagot nito sa kanya. "And also I received a message from Hera," anito pa.

I knew her. The Chief Queen of Deities.

"What about it?"

"The ancient one has already been freed from it's prison," sagot niya.

Nanlaki ang mata ni Xu maging ang aming mga kasamahan. I also felt uneasy.

"But the snake remained quiet. Hindi pa ito nagpapakita," sagot nito.

I heard a lot about the snake. The snake is Death. It was kept in a dimension that no one can enter even defies time. If it indeed escapes. I know who's behind its freedom. Someone who possessed Aether power. Someone who can penetrate such dimension.
