Chapter 6: Lies in her history part 2

"Elohim finally concluded that the snake isn't just an ordinary entity. It is unique on its way. One by one, those immoralities of every Celestials slowly stripped away from them. And when they found out that the snake actually is the one who is killing everyone. And when the snake is confronted, it talks. It says that she was sent by her own master which is the Time ," sabi pa niya.

"So the snake is a female and what is the time to do about the past?" tanong ni Hera.

"What to do, you say? Because Time is the most powerful of all. Do you know what it means? Time has past, present and future. The Time is the most strongest entity than Elohim and Sin themself. Time has been existing right before both of the two come into the picture. Time already existed even before humans invented a clock nor can read the sun. Time is always followed by death. And the snake's name was Jomungandr and she is the Death. She existed between good and evil, and counterpart of life. She cannot be killed nor can be eliminated. She simply waits and watches. And when the time whispers in her ears, the snake kills, collecting souls and bringing it to the right place they should be after Sin and Elohim made a truce. Good souls belong to Elohim's Elysium and Bad souls go to Sin's Cythonic. Jomungandr never stop growing and she needed her own place and own people. She then created Axis Mundi or the Palace of the Death. To avoid unstoppable growth, she created a Celestial image. And from her venom, she created reapers. By then, Elohim created the Earth. The Earth was an empty planet back then. Celestial beings and Demons are the ones who walk on Earth. Some of them mated and then there comes the vampires, werewolves, Deities and the lesser demons. They are the product of unison of Celestials and Demons. One of them is Cherubim, Seraphim's brother. Cheru met a demon named Lilith and together, they are the parents of vampires. Lupus and Azrael are the parents of wolves and then of course Asmodeus and Rafaela, Rafael's twin sister, the ancestors of Lesser Demons. All of the three kind are savage due to the fact that mixing of genes are not allowed. Vampires are natural blood-sucker. Wolves are flesh eater and also lesser demons are soul eaters. These savage beast are mindless. All they do is breed and then fight each other. Earth was a chaotic place to live back then until celestials and Demons are forbidden to walk on Earth again. Elohim created humans, the species that is meant to live on Earth. In order to clean the Earth from those mindless beasts, Jomungandr was tasked to clean it. And Jomungandr did the job. The giant snake needed to shed her snakeskin every two million eons. This process is called Ecdysis. And when she's in Ecdysis, Jomungandr needs to sleep because this cause her strength and power inside her abyssal limbo, the chamber she created. During her sleep, Cherubim, also known as Apollyon did something that made the Jomungandr and her Axis Mundi gone," sabi pa niya.

"And what did all the storytelling do to us? We didn't come from the past," sagot ni Causian.

Tumawa ang libro. Literally laugh maniacally.

"Idiots," sabi nito mocking us.

This pissed Keeran. He was about to grab the book and about to destroy it.

"Whatever you wanted to do with me is fine. As long as I don't face the wrath of Nephthys," sabi ng libro sa kanya . "Boy, you don't know how pissed she is right now. I could even feel her wrath though all I can do is her and she's staring right at me now. Giving a flying-dagger kind of stare," dagdag pa nito.

"Janus," sabi ni Lumine. "Please tell us everything you know right now," pakiusap pa niya.

"Oh lady. You don't have any idea what happened to the past," aniya. "But of course proceed to the story telling before I was rudely interrupted by someone who's ill-mannered," anito.

"Who the hell are you pertaining to, huh? Book?" inis na sabi ni Keenan.

"Love, be quite. We need to listen to Janus. This is an important matter," saway sa kanya ni Green sabay hawak sa kanang kamay niya which made him calm down.

I was well, slightly hurt ngunit hindi ko ito ipinahalata.

Awtomatikong tumingin sa akin si Keeran and when he saw me a little bit discomfort, he smirked at me arrogantly.

Ugh.. I really want to punch the light out of him.

A cripple of power suddenly appeared before us and then Grell appeared suddenly. He is Causian's lover and currently, the two of them are living in Middle Axis. Grell is a prince Ballad, seventh level of Cythonic. And he betrayed his father and walked on Earth until he met Causian and both of them became lovers. In fact, Causian is currently pregnant despite being male. He and Keeran are on good terms now despite being enemies back then.

"Why are you all so serious," tanong niya.

"Ahh. If it isn't Prince Grell of Ballad. The only pure demon that is currently known about Jomungandr," sabi ni Janus.

Nakita kong may bahagyang takot ang gumuhit sa mukha ni Grell at napatingin ito sa libro.

"Oh Janus. What are you doing here?" tanong nito.

"Well I was being asked about the past. Seems like the millions of Eons past will be reminisced again. Care to help me explaining them?" tanong ni Janus sa kanya.

"What are you saying? There's nothing to worry about. She will not go back again," sagot ni Grell.

I don't have any idea kung sino ang sinasabi nila ni Janus.

"Is it?" tumawa si Janus. "Let me tell you about the "she" that we are talking about," aniya. "She has been locked somewhere out there by Cherubim the one who created you all again, in short the one who revived your extinct kind, your father. Uhhhhhh. You don't have any idea what he did in order to create you," aniya pa.

"Lies!" sigaw ni Green. "I've talked to him. And he is like a father to me," aniya pa.

"Oh? Did he become like that? the nerve for doing that and faking his own death," sabi nito na nagpatingin lahat sa kanya . All we know is that Apollyon was corrupted by the black hole and was used by Sin. "You think that Keeran killed him when the two of them clashed? You don't really know who is Cherubim is," natatawang sagot ni Janus.

"Why should we believe you?" tanong ni Raven ang aking ina.

"You should. But first you have to know that Cherubim created you all for a purpose," aniya.

"You are clearly lying!" sabi ni Causian.

"Why would a dead man like me will lie to you all? Don't you ever think about why something menacing beast live inside of you, Green?" tanong nito kay Green. "Or why do Raven has this uncontrol killing lust during red moon?" tanong pa niya. "Or how can Causian's blood become the key to Nephilims Prison and when he got angry, those blood and flesh killing machine giants that are imprisoned in the deepest part of Antarctica will able to escape and will follow him? Or how hera will be the key to Titan's freedom. Don't you all guys think about it? Wake up. Cherubim is using you for his own plans," sabi pa nito.

"And what is his plan?" tanong ni Hera.

"Grell, please do the honor," sabi nito kay Grell.

"To be the king of everything. He wants power, his own people like Elohim and Sin. He wants to be a Lord," sagot ni Grell.

"That's correct so he stole the seed of bloodlife and the seed of knowledge. He badly wanted to steal the seed of immortality which was of course guarded by Jormungandr herself. Cherubim knew the snake could not be messed up. He's no match for her so he waited until he set his plan during her slumber. With some traitors in Axis Mundi, Cherubim finally manage to invade the uninvadable fortress of Death. He managed to kill all the reapers there. Instead of the seed of immortality whom he sought to have, he failed to have it. Instead he only took the Elixir of life that grants long lasting life but not immortality which defies death. And so he also did the unthinkable that is locking death in a dimension that time never existed to prevent death from everyone including you all," aniya pa. "Until she was released, recently, hungry, irritated and pissed. Cherubim mustn't be aware now but who do you think she'll cast her wrath on when she sees that the species she wiped out are now freely roaming around and back to life?"

"Us," sagot ni Hera.

"Well good answer. And also she's here. Watching,observing and will strike soon," sagot ni Janus before he was burned by someone who we can't see.

Nagulat ang ang lahat. Janus was deduced to ash as if whoever did that never wanted us to know more.

Everyone guards up. Who in their right mind would come here and disturb us during an important meeting.

"It's I," sagot ng boses na bigla na lamang lumitaw mula sa anino na hindi naiilawan ng mga kandila.

"Speak who you are!" utos ni Raven. "The nerve of you coming here and burning Janus!" sigaw pa niya.

"That is necessary. I'm not your enemy. And also Janus is her spawn. Right now, she has been listening to you all. She has all ears here," sabi pa ng boses. "Janus is correct she's here. Be careful. She's stronger than those you already faced off," sabi ng boses.

"Show yourself! Do not hide!" utos aking ina.

Lumabas mula sa kintataguan niya ang isang maliit na nilalang. Her sized is just about a few inches and she has wings.

"Who are you? Do you know Jormungandr?" tanong ni Green.

"Yes. My bloodline has served her since her beginning. We were created using her venom. But my Jomungandr changed a lot. She's not the huge snake I used to know. She-"

"Enough! Jormungandr never existed. She is still imprisoned," sagot ni Grell habang nakahawak sa Kay Causian. "SHE WILL NEVER GOING BACK!"
