Chapter 16: Uneasy

"Do you know anything about the snake, Keenan?" tanong ko kay Keenan habang nagkakape ito. This is making me anxious. If this snake can kill a Goddess. Paano na lang kami? We are beyond a goddess or deities' power.

This is making my head hurt.

Tumingin sa akin si Keenan.

"All I know is that she hates Apollyon, the one who created you. And since I followed him blindly, that makes me her anger's target. I never met the snake even once. If only I knew what that bastard did, hindi na sana ako sumunod sa kanya," sagot nito at bigla na lang natahimik. Parang ang lalim ng iniisip niya.

"Even if Apollyon or Cherubim created me and my kind, if the order was to eliminate us, he shouldn't make us and lock up Death? Even I would get angry at him. He remade the history and now the lost history has come back and will bite our asses. What is he intending to do? Go against death?"

"Who knows? That bastard is sneaky. He even faked his death," sagot niya.

Maya-maya ay humahangos na dumating si Elaina.

"Your Majesty," magalang na sabi nito at yumukod sa akin. "I have heard an unusual word from Transilvenia," aniya.

"What is it?"

"Hunters are being spotted again . Three of our lads have been killed in one night, Queen," sagot niya sa akin.

Nanlaki ang aking mga mata.

"Hunters? How can it be? They were eliminated three hundred years ago. Are you sure they are hunters?" na niniguradong tanong ko sa kanya.

Wolves are the biggest enemy of vampires but we have a truce.

"Here, your highness. This is the video coverage we gathered after the killing," sagot niya sa akin.

My right hand played the video for me as we entered my private meeting room. Sa video ay kitang-kita ang mga pumatay sa tatlo. Three creatures in black ang sumugod sa tatlo habang naglalakad ang mga biktima. It's clear that they were caught off guard.

"They are humans," sabi ni Keeran.

"Yes they are. But what bothers me and the other death dealers is this," sagot ni Elaina sabay pindot ng projector kung saan naroon ang ilang segundong video ng isang nilalang habang may nilalapa ito sa isang sulok.

"What the heck is that?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"That can't be!" nakita kong nanlalaki ang mga mata ni Keenan. "That creature was long dead!" aniya.

"What exactly is that creature?" naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Ancient one," sagot niya sa akin.

"What first one? I don't understand," sagot ko sa kanya na naguguluhan.

"That is the Nosferatu," sagot niya.

"Nosferatu what?"

"Nosferatu is the first ever vampire. Though it's not exactly look like a vampire, it has been considered a vampire since it fed on blood. Its physical appearance is black smoke but it can also shift into a physical appearance that it wants. It's thirst for blood is unquenchable so it feeds not only to vampires but to the one that has blood on it. It roamed the earth for billions of aeons until it was killed by its father, Elohim," sagot niya.

Napalunok ako. Elohim is the personification of good then why does he have a child like that?

Nabasa ni Keenan ang iniisip ko.

"That thing is half-blood. Half celestial and half demon. Her mother is the ancestor of the monster that lived within you," sagot niya. "But why on Earth is it here? It should have died a long time ago unless she had been resurrected by the snake" sabi pa niya. "This is getting serious," aniya pa na tumayo na.

"Dead you say?" tanong ni Nine (Seven, Nine's doppelganger). "She never died," singit niya sa usapan namin ni Keenan at Elaina. "Where else could that stupid Cherubim copy that thing lived inside of you?" tanong niya.

"Make sense," sagot ko bago tumingin kay Keeran na masama ang tingin kay Nine.

"Seems like you know something. Or are you on the snake's side?" pagalit na tanong niya rito which made me feel angry.

"I don't side with anyone. I saw everything. I've been there. And I know everything but I seldom say anything about the future nor what is going to happen. I am merely a viewer in everything that is going to happen. I'm forbidden to say anything about it," sagot niya rito.

"Keenan please. Let her be," sabi ko sa kanya bago hinawakan ang kanyang kamay at tumingin kay Elaina. "Please tell us what you see, Nine. It will be a great help for us," sabi ko pa.

"Yes, Keenan is true. That thing is a female and her name is Neax," sagot ni Nine(Seven). "Death helped her once and hid him away from her father's wrath and hatred to her," sagot niya. "She was a child back then and of course a child wanted her father's attention but she was hated at first sight. Neax did everything just to be loved by Elohim but to no avail, the latter just used her to eliminate those who went against him. At the end of the day she was almost killed by him. Luckily, Death arrived. And so she took her in. The story of a sad child who just wanted to be loved has grown as a menacing warrior now. And that child grew into a terrifying creature that only listens to Death herself," sabi niya.

Hindi ako nakaimik sa sinabi niya.

"And since Elohim favoured Cherubim more than her, well, what do you expect? War is on the horizon. And I can feel it. If I were you, Green and your allies, be ready. Because the opponent that you are all about to face is stronger than you ever think," aniya before vanishing.

"She knows something will happen, Green. You cannot trust that girl," sabi sa akin ni Keenan noong makapasok na kami sa aming silid.

Kanina pa sumasakit ang ulo ko lalo na muli na namang nagbalik ang mortal na kalaban ng aming lahi, ang mga tao.

"Keenan please," sabi ko sa kanya. "I don't want to hear anything you want to say about Nine. If she's indeed untrusted, I am already dead by now. Please for a bit, just let her be please?" sabi ko sa kanya before sitting on the floor between his legs and laying my head on his crotch area.

"I'm sorry. It's just that all the people I trusted betrayed me in the end, love," sagot niya sa akin.

"I'm not one of them. I'll always be by your side. Whatever happens," sabi ko sa kanya bago pumikit.

"Hmmmmmm Keenan.. not there," pabulong kong sabi kay Keenan habang nakapikit at nakakagat labi while he is in between my legs licking me down there.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ibabaling ang aking ulo kung sa kanan ba o sa kaliwa. Keenan and I finally got married and we finally have s*x legally u like when he divided his body into six, Zero was the one who got to have my body back then.

"Then we shall have our babies," sabi niya before lifting my head and made me look at him. He then gave me kiss on the forehead. "We can always try to make them. The night is long. What do you think?" tanong niya as I felt him getting hard inside of me. "Let's go to the shower."

Before I could even protest, Keenan carried me in to the shower. Isinandal niya ako sa pader as he started to ram his rod in me.
