Chapter VI [M]

Cloud's POV:

Nauna kaming dumating ni Mr. Dela Frontera sa venue. Hestia and her group are still not here, kanina ko pa siya hinahanap. I've been meaning to ask her something at atat na akong makita siya. I bet she's stunning tonight.

"Excuse me, Sir. Restroom break muna ako." Bulong na paalam ko dito.

"Roam around as you please as well, Cloud. I'll be fine."

Tumango naman ako sa sinabi niya saka umalis na at tumungo sa restroom. Napaka daming tao dito ngayon at napapalibutan ako ng mga kilala at respetadong tao.

Nang matapos akong gumamit ng restroom ay ginawa ko ang utos sakin ni sir Albert. I took that chance to find my friends. Kanina ko pa kasi sila natext pero wala man lang silang reply.

I checked my phone to see if my friends texted me already, pati na din iyong message ni Hestia kanina. She said they're on their way here about 10 minutes ago. Siguro ay parating na ang mga iyon.

Napag desisyonan kong lumabas na muna at mag mumuni muni. Hindi naman madilim sa labas dahil napapalibutan pa din ito ng ilaw tsaka may mga tao din naman dito. Nagpatuloy lamang ako sa pag lalakad at tahimik na ina-appreciate ang ganda ng lugar.

Makalipas ang ilang minutong paglalakad at ngawit na din ang aking paa, I decided to sit in one of the benches here. May iilang tao ang nandito at nag uusap. Napakaganda ng mga suot ng mga ito, halatang pinag handaan ang gabing to.

Then I heard foot steps coming from my back kung saan hindi na abot ang mga ilaw doon. Medyo kinilabutan ako dahil mukhang ako lamang ang nakadinig nun. Lakas loob akong lumingon only to see a tall guy walking this way. May kasama itong babae na tila step-sister ni Cinderilla kung maka asta. Ang taas pa ng manipis na kilay nito.

Iniwas ko ang tingin sakanila at kinuha na lang ang phone ko upang itext si Hestia asking where they are already.

Dumaan ang dalawang magkasintahan sa tabi ko, they smell like s*x.

"What's the progress between you and Vera?" Dinig kong tanong ng babae, natigilan naman ako ng madinig ko ang pangalang yun.

Were they talking about Professor Vera? Nagkibit balikat na lang ako, hindi lang naman siguro si Prof. Vera ang nag iisang Vera dito. I was about to disregard them when I heard what the guy say.

"Bumabalik na ito sa akin. My only problem is that young Dela Frontera and Albert. They're getting on my way." May bakas ng inis sa matipunong boses nito.

Muli ko silang tinignan ngunit nakalayo na ang mga ito. Malakas ang kutob ko sa aking narinig, I need to tell this to Hestia.

Pumasok na ako sa loob at agad na hinanap si sir Albert. I roamed my eyes around until I spotted him. Agad na naglakad ako patungo sakanya. He's talking to some random guy kaya nag excuse muna ako sakanila.

Binalingan naman ako ng tingin ng matanda.

"Oh hey, Cloud. Sayang at hindi mo naabutan ang bunso ko." Mr. Dela Frontera said with a smile on his face.

"I need to talk to you sir." Panimula ko dito. He sensed my discomfort.

"Will you excuse us for a minute, Martinez?" He politely said to his comrade.

"By all means. I have to go somewhere too."

Nang makaalis na ang matanda ay saka ako umupo sa harap nito.

"I overheard someone talking about you and your daughter, Andrienne, sir." Sabi ko. Mr. Dela Frontera chuckled.

"I get that a lot. Don't worry about that, Cloud." He said ngunit malakas talaga ang kutob kong hindi maganda ang balak ng dalawang iyon.

"Isang babae at isang lalaki, they looked like a couple and I heard them say Ms. Vera's name and something about you and Andrienne getting in their way." Nang mabanggit ko ang pangalan ng asawa ni Andrienne ay biglang nawala ang ngiti sa mukha nito. Bagkus ay napalitan ng pagkalito.

"Vera, you say?" He look around trying to find someone. "Don't worry about it, Cloud. I know who you're talking about." He smiled, tila wala man lang pag aalala sa mukha niya. "That's Vera's ex, Adrianne. We got it under control."

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag sa tinuran niya.

"Siya nga pala, Cloud. Pwede mo bang sabihin sa kapatid mo na kausapin ako bukas?"

"May kasalanan po ba siya?" Hindi ko mapigilan ang pag uusisa dito. Saka lang lumuwag ang pakiramdam ko ng impit na tumawa ito.

"No. Kulang kasi ng tauhan ang isa kong firm." bumilog ang mga mata ko dahil sa tuwa. "If she wants, I can transfer her there. Mas malayo nga lang iyon sa bahay niyo but don't worry. Bibigyan ko siya ng matutuloyan malapit doon."

Medyo nawala ang ngiti ko, ibig sabihin nun aalis si ate sa bahay? Mawawalan na ako ng kasama, ayoko nun. Sanay akong lagi kong kasama si Ava at yung isipin na mahihiwalay siya sa akin ay parang mamimiss ko na siya agad.

I heard Mr. Dela Frontera chuckled kaya tumingin ako dito ng may pagtataka.

"That means you're going with her, Cloud. Malapit doon ang campus mo. Montreal right?" Tumango ako saka napangiti.

"Talaga po?" He nodded. "Maraming salamat po, sir!"

"You can call me tito. Masyado kang pormal. Kahapon lang eh nagtutukaan kayo ng anak ko." Natatawang biro nito.

Namula ang pisngi ko ng maalala ang nangyari kahapon, lalo pa't nakita pala nito iyon.

Just then we heard a Piano starting to play. Umilaw naman ang spotlights tsaka tumutok iyon sa gitna. And there I saw a fine man playing the grand piano. Hindi ko napansin iyan kanina.

Hestia's POV:

"I heard you got married, Hestia?" Vera turned the table at me.

Here comes the hot seat.

"I told you that first. And why are you opening this topic?" Naiinis kong sabad sakanya.

I'm very serious about me not wanting to be teased.

"Wala akong ibang maisip na pag uusapan." Casual na sabi nito. "And I found your situation interesting."

"You're putting me in a hot seat Vera." Inis na reklamo ko dito. Ang pinaka ayaw ko sa lahat iyong kailangan kong mag explain sa harap ng madaming tao.

"Indeed, I am." Sagot naman niya.

We stared into each other's eyes. I want her to know that I am not pleased with what she's doing right now. Alam ni Vera kung ano ang katotohanan. Only my sister and Hera don't.

Naputol ang staring contest namin ni Vera ng magtanong ulit siya.

"Tell me about your wife."

"Wife?!" Gulat na bulalas ng kapatid ko sa tinuran ni Vera. "Akala ko ba'y lalaki ang napangasawa mo?"

"I wish." Lie.

I rolled my eyes. "And seeing as I don't have any choice but to open up to all of you, in this public place, I will tell you what I only know."

Kahit na umiinit na ang ulo ko ay wala na akong magagawa.

"Her name is Cloud Avery Sandoval." Truth.

Dinig ko ang pag singhap ng napaka galing kong pinsan. I rolled my eyes.

"That's all I know about her. It's either she's an alien or she's very good at hiding her background dahil wala man lang nasagap na impormasyon ang hinire kong investigator." Big fat lie.

"If that's the case, she must've known you for a long time now, 'cause she was so sure to hide her background dahil alam nitong papaimbestigahan mo siya." Sabi ni Vera at tila kumbinsido naman ang dalawang mga bugok. Ang galing din naman kasi niyang mangumbinsi.

"Yes. Otherwise, she wouldn't even bother dahil sa kalasingan." France chipped in. "Was she drunk?"

Pinilig ang ulo ko at nag isip isip kung anong isasagot ko sakanya. Kapagkwa'y umiling ako.

"I can't remember anything from that night." Lie.

"So you're saying na all you remembered was the s*x part lang?"

"How was she?" Hera excitedly asked. Ramdam ko ang pag init ng pisngi ko sa tanong niya.

See what I mean? Nag uumpisa na tong bwesit na to.

"She's actually great. She's just like you," I cleared my throat because of that scene I remembered when we nearly did it. "That's why I told you it was a he pero nagkamali ako."

"Intersexting! Was she big?" Bwesit talaga.

"Hera, could you please shut up?" Inis na sita ng kapatid ko dito. I sighed a breathe of relief. "I'm right here! I don't want to hear the details of my sister's sexcapade. Talk to her some other time in private."

And then napagpasyahang umalis ni Aubrey at Andrienne.

We followed her line of sight and saw Adrianne casually walking towards us. His eyes fixated on Vera.

"May I steal this beautiful lady right here?" He asked smugly. I rolled my eyes, what a sore sight.

"No, you can't. You can leave." I said nonchalantly.

Tumingin sa akin si Vera at sumenyas na wag gumawa ng gulo. I just stared at her and roll my eyes again.

"Ang sakit yata ng mata ko ngayon." Nadinig kong sabi ni Hera. "Umalis ka nga muna." Taboy niya kay Adrianne.

I smiled proudly at my cousin.

"Let's go." Hila ni Vera si Adrianne paalis sa table namin. Just then my sister and Aubrey arrived.

"You know, Vera should start sorting her feelings out." Puna ni Hera nang makaalis ang kapatid ko para habulin ang dalawa.

We heard a Piano playing and the crowd started to form. I got curious so I turned to look what was happening. And my anger rose up instantly when I saw who that was.

Lahat ay namangha at nakatulalang pinagmamasdan ang lalaki. After he played the Piano, he stood up and grabbed his mic that was on his pocket.

"Good evening, everyone. I'm sorry to steal the spotlight from all of you but I'm here for a purpose." Oh god, I hate his voice. I hate how he stand there like he owns the f*****g crowd and floor.

"Months ago, I've been blessed and a one lucky guy that the girl of my dreams agreed to let me court her."

What the f**k is he saying? Kailan ko ito pinayagang ligawan?!

Kumuyom ang kamao ko at gustong gusto ko nang pasabugin ang bungo sa pinag sasabi niya.

Cloud is here, baka kung anong isipin niya.

"Before she left two weeks ago, she promised to give me her sweetest yes when she gets back in the Philippines. And I know, she is a woman of her words and I'm hoping that she will finally be my girlfriend."

The audacity of this bastard! I said no such thing!

Dumagundong ang hiyawan sa loob ng dome.

"Hestia," tawag nito. Lumingon ang lahat sa kinaroroonan ko. I didn't bother hiding the disgust in my face.

"There you are, my lady." Lumapit ang ito sa akim. He held my hand and looked at me intensely.

Diring diri na ako.

Hinayaan ko lang siya sa ginagawa niya.

I just hope Cloud will stay here so she can hear what I will say.

"I missed you. I think this is the right time to make this official." Lance reached on his pocket for a small box. Binuksan nito iyon and revealed a ring. "This is a promise ring I bought from Italy just for you. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I looked at him nonchalantly and refuse to hear the cheering of the crowd on us.

Hinablot ko sa kamay niya ang mic and stared at his eyes.

"I didn't promise you anything." Naiirita kong turan sakanya. I clearly told him that he can do whatever he wants with his life when he was being persistent. I didn't mean for him to court me!

Everyone gasped.

"I already have someone I genuinely have feelings for. Stop bothering me and save yourself from further embarrassment, bastard."

Iyon lamang at ibinalik ko na ang mic sakanya. My heart beats insanely fast against my chest because of that. Unang una sa lahat, I hate attention at lalong lalo na, ayoko iyong ako ang pinag uusapan, especially when the topic is nonsense.

If it's about business or something important, then I'll gladly be in front of everybody.

Although, I'm used to it, it really irritates me everytime.

Cloud's POV:

She basically rejected the man in front of everybody. Hindi na ako mag tataka kung headline ito bukas sa lahat ng media.

I heard a chuckle behind me.

"Shows over. Let's go home, Cloud." Bulong sakin ng matandang Dela Frontera. Saka lamang ako natauhan at sinunod ito ng magsimula na siyang maglakad.

Mukhang sanay naman si Albert sa ganitong scenario dahil mukhang hindi naman ito apektado. Maybe this isn't the first time this happened.

"On second thought. Go with Hestia instead."

"E papano po kayo?"

"I'll be fine. Nanjan ang mga bodyguard ko. Go and find her."

Agad na umalis ako matapos kong magpaalam at magpasalamat dito. Sinundan ko kung saan tumungo si Hestia kanina at sana ay maabutan ko ito. Nasa madilim na parte na ako ng dome. Hinay hinay akong nag lakad habang lumilinga linga para hanapin si Hestia.

"s**t!"

Hiyaw ko ng may biglang humila sa akin at niyakap ako.

"Hestia?"

"Gosh, I hate that kind of confessing."

Amoy ko sa hininga nito ang alak.

"You're drunk, again."

"A little bit. Umuwi na tayo." Kumalas siya sa yakap ko at hinila ako sa kamay papalabas ng dome. Wala na din ang kumpulan ng mga tao sa gitna pati na din iyong lalaki.

"Are you okay?" Tanong ko nang sa wakas ay naihiga ko na siya sa kama. She's not that drunk, just tipsy. I think she still knows what she's doing.

"Yeah. Just tired. I'm worried about my sister." She said habang nakapikit.

"What about her?" Tanong ko saka umupo sa kama sa tabi niya. Sumandal ako sa headboard.

"Her relationship with her wife is getting shaky." She sighed, and groaned as she massages her temple "I refuse to be stressed. She must sort her feelings out."

Tumango-tango ako.

"Ang ganda ni Prof. ano?" Wala sa sariling sabi ko dito. Kumunot naman ang noo niya ngunit nakapikit pa din.

"She's been the talk of the campus ever since she rejected our Professor." I chuckled.

What with this gorgeous women rejecting hot guys?

"Vera?" She confirmed.

"Yes. Nakita ko siya last year sa school nang may ginanap na inter university ball games."

"Yeah. Vera is beautiful." She agreed. "But why are we talking about her?" Idinilat nito ang mata at mataman akong tinignan.

"Eh diba siya ang pinag uusapan natin kanina?" Kamot ko sa batok ko.

"I was talking about my sister." bakit parang may kasalanan ako sa paraan ng pagkakatitig niya? "Are you thinking about her?"

Napalunok ako, "Oo." Wala sa sariling sagot ko dito. Hestia closed her eyes and didn't say anything, anymore. Tumalikod siya ng higa mula sa akin.

"Get out of my room." Biglang salita niya nang mag tatangka na akong mahiga. Napaawang ang bibig ko sakanya.

Seryoso ba ito?

"Bakit?" Tanong ko.

"I don't want you beside me."

"Siraulo ka ba?" Hindi ko mapigilang itanong iyon sakanya.

Sinubukan kong yapakin ito mula sa likod ngunit isang siko lang ang natanggap ko dito. Namilipit ako sa sakit dahil malakas ang impact non.

"Aray!" I groaned in pain. "May kasalanan ba ako?" Tanong ko dito habang hinahaplos ko ang tyan.

"Just sleep." Walang kagana-ganang sambit nito sa akin.

"Nga pala, sino yung 'someone' na tinutukoy mo kanina?" Tanong ko nang maalala ko yung sinabi niya kanina.

Saglit lang itong natigilan sa tanong ko. Huminga ito ng malalim.

"You're so stupid." Naiinis niyang turan. "How many times do I have to tell you I like you?"

"Gusto mo ako pero pinapaalis mo ako dito. Sayang naman yung paalam ko kay ate, diba? Mag isa pa naman siya sa bahay."

"Edi umuwi ka."

"Edi sige." Sabi ko na lang saka umalis na sa bed niya. Ngunit hindi pa man ako nakaka hakbang ay hinila na ako nito pabalik. Ngayon naman ay naka dagan ako sa ibabaw niya

Nakatingala ito sa akin habang ako ay nakatitig lang sakanya. She's really beautiful, I can't contain the mesmerization I'm feeling. So breathtakingly beautiful.

Her eyes fell from my eyes to my lips. Umawang ang pinkish niyang mga labi at wala sa sariling napalunok. Heto na naman yung tension sa pagitan namin. "C'mon, love." Umalis ako sa ibabaw niya saka nahiga sa kama. "Matulog na tayo." Sabi ko dito saka pumikit.

Binalewala ko ang kabog sa aking dibdib at pinilit na pakalmahin ang sarili.

I felt the mattres sunk on my side. Siguro ay umayos na ito upang matulog pero mali ako. Naramdaman ko ang pag ibabaw nito sa akin at hindi pa man ako nakakabawi sa gulat ko ay sinakop na niya ang aking bibig.

She expertly kissed my lips. Iyong padampi-dami lang sa una; feeling, testing and tasting. Dahil sa intensidad ng nararamdaman ko ay napikit ko ang aking mga mata upang mas namnamin ang oras na to.

Her lips is so soft. f**k! Tumitigas na ang kaibigan ko.

After a while of smacking, Hestia began to move her lips against mine. She sucked my lower lip gently, then did the same to my upper lip.

"Hestia." I said in between her kisses. She ignored me and continued kissing me. Hinayaan ko lang siya sa kanyang ginagawa dahil pinapairal ko ang katinuan ng isip ko.

I'm still restraining myself because Hestia might stop and leave me hanging again.

"Stop." Bulong ko.

Our lips parted with a line of saliva rope in between us. Tumunghay ito sakin sa namumungay niyang mga mata.

"You're turned on." I stated

"I bet." She said hoarsely.

Hinila ko ito upang bumagsak siya sa katawan ko. I wrapped my arms around her nape and stroke her hair.

"You shouldn't do that if you're still not ready." Sabi ko sakanya ng malumanay, hindi siya umimik. "Hestia." Tawag ko sakanya.

"Hmm?"

"Ano ba tayo?"

Umayos siya ng higa sa ibabaw ko. Her head laid on my chest, close to my neck, ang kamay naman niya ay naka hawak sa dibdib ko.

"I like you." she said casually.

"I know. You've been telling me that." I sighed. "You know what I feel for you, right?" She nodded. "And you like me." A nod again. "So, what are we?"

"I don't like to complicate things, Sandoval. We are what you want us to be." Masungit na turan niya. "If you want me to be your girlfriend, I'd be happy to."

Hindi ako nakaimik sa tinuran niya. I expected her to avoid this topic pero mali ako.

"I want you to be my wife." Turan ko. If she want an honest and straightforward talk then I will do the same.

"Too early for that."

"Ikaw nga tong nag sabi sa pamilya mong kasal na tayo." Sabi ko habang natatawa.

"Oh yeah, I told my friends that you're hiding from me."

"Why would you do that?" puno ng kuryusodad kong tanong.

"Just don't want to be in a hot seat. I'll tell them about you once I got the chance."

Tumango na lamang ako. Hindi ko maintindihan ang rason niya kung bakit ganon na lamang ang sinasabi niya sakanila.

"So," I said, dragging the 'o', "Are you my girlfriend now?"

"Depends. Did you ask me?" Balik tanong niya.

I cleared my throat and inhaled deeply.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"You know I can hear your heartbeat, right?" Tumango ako. "Is that my effect on you?" Tumango ulit ako.

"Yes."

Para yata akong nabingi.

"I love you." Bulong ko kahit na wala pa din ako sa sarili ko.

Yung saya sa puso ko para bang hindi ko kakayanin. Gusto kong magtatalon, magsisigaw.

"And I love you."

Kung kanina ay parang tumatakbo ako sa marathon sa bilis ng takbo ng puso ko, ngayon naman ay parang tumigil sa pagtibok iyon.

"You said what?" I managed to ask.

"I love you." Inulit nga niya. s**t.

"You mean it?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

Bumuntong hininga siya. "I don't know what happened and how it happened, I just started to have this weird feeling when we were in Vegas. I only felt this when I'm with you. I guess this is love."

I squeezed Hestia in my arms. Hindi ko namalayan ang pagtulo ng luha sa aking mga mata.

Hindi ko akalain na mangyayari ito. Para akong nanalo sa lotto. No, this is more than winning a lottery. Favorite pa din ako ng tadhana!

Hestia lifted her head to look at me. Iyong natural na masungit niyang mata ay nagkaroon ng emosyon. Iyong emosyong ngayon ko lamang nakita dito.

Love?

Itinukod niya ang dalawang kamay niya sa gilid ng ulo ko. She lifted her body a bit, tamang tama lang na magkadikit ang dibdib namin.

She lowered her head to kiss me which I gladly received. It was a slow, passionate kiss. Ibang iba sa mga unang halik namin. It's like she's memorizing every corner of my lips.

I swiped my tongue on the crack of her mouth, she moaned and opened her lips. I took that que to enter my tongue on her mouth. Mukhang nagulat naman si Hestia sa ginawa ko dahil napa atras ito ng bahagya, ngunit hinila ko ito pabalik sa akin at mas idiniin pa ang halik.

Ilang beses na akong nabitin dahil sa kapusokan naming dalawa.

Hestia put her palm on my cheek and stroke it gently. She smiled,

"Continue."

I didn't have to be told twice. Agad kong sinunggaban ang labi niya at inangkin na para bang wala ng bukas. Hestia's a fast learner, she kissed me back with the same intensity. Her nails casually digging my shoulder.

My left hand started to roam around Hestia's soft and curvy body.

This is a dream come true. Holding Hestia like this, kissing her like this and pleasuring her like this. All of these were just a dream to me. Akala ko ay hanggang pangarap na lang ako.

Her fingernails dug in my hair, grabbing a bunch of them and unconciously pulling and pushing my head. I tried to find her soft spot pero mukhang lahat ay may soft spot ito dahil napapaigtad siya sa bawat pag lapat ng labi ko sa leeg niya.

"It does feel weirdly ticklish." She managed to say despite her hard time breathing.

Ang isang kamay ko ay dumapo sa dibdib nito at pinaglaruan ang kanyang n****e. Napaigtad ulit siya, na nagpatawa sakin ng mahina.
