I didn't really expect them to celebrate my birthday but they did, "Happy birthday, happy birthday. Happy birthday to you!" they continued. I genuinely smiled at them. Right after I thought they are finish, Bryce, my guy friend said "Bam ba ram bam bam," followed by a faster version of the Happy Birthday song they sang. Mga may saltik talaga. "Happy happy happy birthday! Sa'yo ang inumin, sa'yo ang pulutan. Happy happy birthday, sana'y malasing mo kami!" they shouted and cheered at the end. Tinawanan 'ko na lamang sila at pinasalamatan because I didn't expect them to celebrate my birthday since it's Valentine's Day. May mga jowa sila, or nakakausap so alam 'kong busy sila sa mga love life, sana all.... "I told you naman, we shouldn't celebrate my birthday na!" "Hay nako, Ellie! Buti na lang kakampi 'ko mga kaibigan mo at natulungan ako para rito sa celebration mo!" my mom shouted while entering the living room of our house, wearing her apron. She quickly remove her apron and went to me while holding a birthday cake. "Happy birthday, anak! Sorry at hindi kita mabigyan ng grandeng debut katulad ng mga kaibigan mo, bawi tayo sa 21 birthday mo," my mom jokingly said but I smiled at her. I understand... Bawi na lang siguro ako next life. "It's okay, mommy. Sabi 'ko naman sa'yo kahit wag na tayo maghanda pero ang kulit mo pa rin!" "Eto na beh! Wala ka nang magagawa, nakapagluto na si tita. Blow mo na 'yang cake dahil gawa yan ni Tita Mia," Siri added and Kaia smiled. Tita Mia is Kaia's Mom. "Red velvet 'yan! Your favorite!" Kaia added so I smiled at her. Ang sweet naman ng Tita Mia, halatang favorite ako. "Make a wish! Make a wish!" sigaw pa ng mga kaibigan 'ko. I slowly move my face closer to the cake hanggang sa katapat na ng bibig 'ko ang kandila. I closed my eyes na para bang mas maririnig ni Lord at ng sino mang anghel na nasa paligid 'ko ang kahilingan 'ko at pagbigyan ito kasi inip na inip na ako.
