We were quietly eating our dinner when suddenly Brenan’s phone rang “Oops..” he looked at me.
“Go on, take it…” and I smiled at him, he answered his phone in front of me.
“Yes?” I heard him say, I continued eating while listening to him.
“No Ma. Hindi naman po. Sure. Really?” then he looked at me “Kailan pa?” hindi ko alam kung excitement or confused ang tone ng boses niya “Is that necessary? Of course. Hindi naman Ma. Opo. NO! NO! NOT HERE…” saka ako napatingin sa kanya, kausap niya Mama niya right?
“Sige ma. I’ll see you, sige po, bye. I love you…” saka niya binaba ang phone niya.
“Your Mom?” tanong ko and he nodded “She wants to see you?”
“Yes…” sagot niya sa akin saka huminga ng malalim “Sierina, can you, can you do a favour for me?” I looked at him
