A Beautiful Mess

"Uno!" Mabilis akong tumayo mula sa kinauupuan ko nang bumukas ang pinto ng banyo at iluwa no'n si Belle. "What?" I asked her while creasing my forehead. Tinignan ko siya at kita ko ang pagka-bahala sa kaniyang magandang mukha habang naka-titig sa isang puting parihaba na kaniyang hawak-hawak. Lumapit siya sa akin at umangat ang tingin niya sa mukha ko habang hawak niya pa rin ang puting parihaba na magpapa-bago sa buhay naming dalawa. She looks at me with those pairs of deep blue eyes. I really love staring at those ocean-like eyes of hers. It's just so peaceful and very calming to stare at. But right now, I don't feel like that. Dahil samu't sari'ng emosyon ang nakapa-loob sa kaniyang magagandang mga mata. Andoon ang pagka-bahala, dismaya, at takot. At mukhang alam ko na kung bakit. "Look." She whispered as she hands me the white rectangular thing. Kunot-noo ko siyang tinignan bago ko ibinaba ang tingin ko sa ibinigay niya. Two red lines. And my whole body froze as I can feel the rapid beating of my heart. "It's positive, Uno." I heard Belle whisper. "I'm pregnant." She added. Umangat ang tingin ko sa kaniya and I found her looking at me with a troubled expression written all over her pretty face. Hindi ako agad naka-imik at sa halip ay nagpa-balik-balik ang tingin ko sa pregnancy test na hawak ko at kay Belle. Oh, my good Lord! Is this for real? Is it really happening? I am going to be a father soon? Hindi ko alam kung anong dapat kong maramdaman. I know Belle is quite disappointed and troubled because she's thinking about her career. But is it wrong for me to feel happy? I am going to be a father and I think it's cool. And what makes it cooler is that this beautiful woman in front of me, the fashion Goddess, the party animal, the Middleton's bratinela, the most carefree woman I know, and the one and only Belle Catastrophe Middleton, is the one bearing my child. I think I just happened to tame the wild cat, didn't I? I stare at Belle's troubled face and I couldn't help but smile. She's such a mess. A beautiful mess.  And this beautiful mess is Uno Trevor Castillo's property. Take her and you'll be dead.
