I WAS WATCHING the sunset slowly disappear from the sky. Hanggang sa naramdaman ko ang mabibigat na yapak sa likod ko. I eventually feel Eric’s embrace behind me. He rested his jaw on my shoulder and gently planted small kisses on my neck.
He sniffed and pulled me even closer to his grip.
“You are enthusiastic to find your parents. Mas lumala ngayon.” He chuckled but I didn’t respond with any emotions to his statement.
Hindi ako umimik at mabigat na napabuntong hininga na lamang. A bunch of questions are jumbling in my head. Kasabay na rin ang pagdududa kay Eric at Shaynah. Hindi ko na alam kung paano magsisimula.
“I’ve talked to Ethan, he said that he wasn’t sure about what he said. But he will try to help.”
