"Doc, what happened to her? Bakit bigla siyang nagkaganun?" I asked when the doctor came out of the ER, finally done giving Sophie the first aid she needed. Kakababa ko lang din ng tawag kay Celestine, na isa sa mga naiwan sa resthouse.
The doctor sighed heavily. "Miss Libiran has a shellfish allergy. She can't eat nor taste anything with this food. Sa kanya, ilang oras muna ang lumipas bago lumabas ang epekto nito. In her case, she experienced a severe symptoms and she really needs to be injected with Epinephrine. Thankfully, you took her here just in time so we avoid a more serious infection." he said, and I just can't stop my face to show a very confused expression.
