“GOOD morning Doctor Latwick,” nakangiting bati ng mga nurses sa nurses' station ng cardio department.
“Good morning,” I greeted back as I continued to walk.
“Doc, a coffee was sent for you,” sabi ng isang nurse at inilahad ang cappuccino.
Again? Napahinto ako at tiningnan ang note sa gilid.
‘Cappuccino to start your day, Doctor. Have a good day!’
“Do you happen to know who gave this?” tanong ko.
“It was just delivered by the delivery boy from the hospital's cafeteria.” Tumango-tango na lang ako at nagpasalamat. Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad bitbit ang kape. I doubt this one. Maybe it is just one of them. It's been two days and I keep receiving this every morning. Even lunch time, 'pag pumunta ako ng cafeteria, may reserve na para sa'kin.
