Chapter 3

Pinuntahan muna ako ni Ryx sa third floor katulad ng sabi niya kanina at nagpaalam na aalis na. He said he'll be busy today. Hindi ko naman alam ang isasagot ko doon kaya sa huli ay umalis na din siya.

Pagkatapos niyang umalis ay sunod naman na pinatawag ako ni madam Yessa. Habang papalapit ako ng papalapit sa opisina niya hindi ko mapigilan ang pagkabog ng dibdib ko para akong aatakihin sa sobrang bilis at lakas no'n.

"Madam," I greeted her.

"Avresia! Come, have a seat." Iminuwestra niya sa harap ko ang visitor's chair at agad naman akong tumalima at umupo doon.

"You called for me." I said.

"Yes, Miss Hidalgo." Her expression is unreadable."I know a lot of agency had offered you to work for them before. And truly, I am grateful for continuously choosing and staying in Imperial Entertainment. Hindi ko itatanggi na sa lahat ng mga modelo ko dito ikaw ang pinakagusto ko at paborito ko. I know it might sound unfair for others but having someone as your favorite...that can't be helped." aniya habang umiiling-iling pa.

Pinagsalikop ko ang mga kamay ko na nagpapahinga sa hita ko at muling ini-angat ang tingin sa mukha ni madam Yessa.

I'm so nervous. I know I get a lot of compliments from madam Yessa and this one isn't new to me but I feel like something is going to happen today and that this is different from before.

"It's been four years since I first met you. And I knew right at that moment you are going to be a star. In less than 6 months you managed to get a name for yourself in this industry. You're really a beauty with a brain. We are lucky to have you in our Imperial Entertainment."aniya at tumango-tango pa. Her expression didn't change.

"A-are you going to fire me, Madam Yessa?" kinakabahang tanong ko.

Nakita ko ang gulat na expression na bumadha sa mukha niya dahil sa sinabi ko, maya-maya pa ay sopistikada siyang tumawa at umiling sa akin.

"What? Hija, why would I fire you?" she asked me.

Ako naman ngayon ang natigilan. Then why did she called me here?

"I'm truly sorry for what happened last night. It was the Imperial Entertainment's management fault that that incident occurred in the first place. If we've give right measures hindi na sana umabot pa sa ganoon. I've talked to Mr. Stallix and I apologized for it, although I know he didn't really take my apologies but I understand." she smiled understandably."I called you here to personally apologize, Avresia. What happened to you last night must be traumatizing that's why I'm suggesting for you to take a break, unwind. After all the success of event last night was all because of you. Thank you. And rest assured that what happened last night we will not taken it for granted. If there is anything you want from this agency please tell me and I'll gladly give it to you, Avresia."

Ryx did mentioned that he became the Imperial Entertainment's sponsor because of me then...did Madam Yessa accepted me here because of Ryx Stallix's influence?

As if those thoughts that bothered me were answered when Madam Yessa speak.

"I'm sure you know now that Mr. Stallix has supporting the Imperial Entertainment because of one reason...You." tumango siya na para bang nababasa niya ang iniisip ko ngayon."But I didn't accepted you here because of him. When I first saw you I see the potential in you. Your talent. I know one day you'll be a big star and I am not wrong. Also, please don't think anything about this too much. You're birthday is coming next month. And that's two weeks from now. I know how busy you're schedule is, Avresia. But please rest and take good care of your health. And after your birthday you can come back as soon as possible you want. The projects are waiting for you."she smiled warmly.

"T-Thank you, Madam Yessa." doon lang ako nakahinga ng maluwag at marahan na ngumiti sa kaniya.

"You were like the daughter I'd never had, Avresia." tila may lungkot sa mga mata niya ng tumingin sa akin. Madam Yessa private life is like a mystery. It wasn't disclose to the media and keep it private.

"And, where is Amanda. I told him to bought us drinks and yet he is taking his time too long." she laughed.

And as if on cue, Amanda suddenly came.

"Madam! Avresia!" maaliwalas ang mukha ni Amanda habang malapad na nakangiti na sinalubong kami."Ang haba ng pila sa counter kaya natagalan ako." he explained.

"Ganoon ba. Ang akala ko ay may nakita ka ng gwapong lalaki at nakalimutan na ang ipinagagawa ko sa iyo." Madam Yessa joked.

Humagikhik naman ng tawa si Amanda at tuluyan ng nakalapit at huminto sa table.

"Madam, naman." he playfully pouted.

He take out the drinks inside the paper bag. He hold the two cups and gave it to me and the other one to Madam Yessa.

Napatingin ako sa inumin ko. Hot chocolate.

Then Amanda drag another chair near the desk with his drink on his other hand.

"So...am I late for chika?" malakas itong tumawa at tsaka umiling-iling.

"Yeah. You're late, Amanda. Avresia and I, already talked." sagot ni Madam Yessa at makahulugan na bumaling sa akin.

Nang magpaalam at lumabas na kami sa opisina ni Madam Yessa agad akong nilapitan ni Amanda para makisagap ng pinag-usapan namin ni Madam Yessa sa opisina nito kanina.

"Girl, you seriously thought she'll fire you? Have you seen how she treats you? It is crystal clear that she really likes you. Kahit nga ata gumawa ka ng kapalpakan hinding-hindi ka magagawang pagalitan ni Madam!" Amanda chuckled.

"Amanda..."

"What? It's the truth. And how are you? Bakit pumasok ka pa ngayon? Akala ko ay hindi ka pupunta dito sa Imperial Entertainment after what happened! Ghad! That must be traumatizing!" He exaggeratedly said.

"I...I don't want to think about it. Kung magmumukmok lang ako sa kwarto ko wala naman akong mapapala doon at isa pa nakakulong naman na ang lalaki na iyon."

"You're right. Buti nga sa kaniya. Para magtanda siya at sana ay mabulok siya sa kulungan!" gigil niyang saad.

"Pero maiba tayo, since sabi mo naman okay ka na. May narinig akong balita..." he grinned at me.

"A-ano naman iyon?" may kutob na ako kung ano ang sasabihin niya.

"Narinig ko na si Mr. Stallix daw ang naghatid sa iyo dito. Totoo ba?" chismosang-chismosa talaga ang dating niya ng tanungin ako.

"O-oo." As if I can't hide something like that from Amanda. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako.

"So what's your relationship with him? Nanliligaw ba?" he asked curiously."Wait! I can't imagine it! Mr. Stallix courting a girl? That's not in their vocabulary!"

That's what I thought too, Amanda. Kaya hindi ko tuloy alam kung ano ba ang trip ni Ryx?
