Nasa ospital na kami at kasalukuyang nasa emergency room. Nasa tabi lamang ako ni Austin habang nasa front desk naman si Zeke kausap ang isang nurse. Konocomfort ko si Austin ng biglang pumasok ang doktor na tumingin sakaniya.
"How's my son, doctor?"
"We're done with the stitches on his head but he needs to undergo CAT scan just to make sure there's no damage in his head."
"I see. Does he need blood transfusion? He lost blood a while ago."
"No need. Your son is okay. After the CAT scan I'd advise him to stay here for at least 1 to 2 days so we can observe him and if he's okay within that period then he's good to go home."
"Thank you doctor."
"No problem. Your kid is brave Mrs. Palomares. Other kids would probably lost consciousness while we're doing the stitches."
