When they were in 8th grade, childhood bestfriends A and B noticed a lot of their friends having relationships left and right with them being left out. With little belief in themselves they make a pact that if they wound up still being single by the time they're 29—because 30 would be too old—they would marry each other.
As they grew up they slowly drifted apart, 7 years later their paths cross when A applied to B's workplace. Now B remembers EVERYTHING, and still holds on that pact they made 7 years ago, the only problem? A is engaged to be married. He still has feelings for her, so what does he do? Support her with the new life ahead of her? Absolutely not.
As selfish as he is, he tries to break the happy couple apart, but by no means succeeding. The wedding comes and he half-heartedly attends only because A insisted he come, we get half way through the ceremony the priest asks if anyone objects, he contemplated on it a little but before he could stop himself, he was standing in the middle of the isle crying his heart out. He bursts out of the church after his speech only to be grabbed by the bride as she ran towards the car. It was only after a silent hour of driving did he come to his senses and asked A what just happened, A snapping out of it puts the car to a stop to the side of the road and gets out of the car while whispering "what did I just do?" repeatedly.
Right then and there they decide to get married only to find out months later that they are not at all a good match. They try to battle through the hardships until it gets too much too close to a breaking point, but it all works out in the end.
