Chapter 28

"What are you doing?" "Let me massage your head, Sir." and so I started my thing massaging his head. He closed his eyes and leaned on his swivel chair. "Does it feel good Sir?" "Yeah, keep going." and so I did.   Seth's POV I like how she does the massage. I opened my eyes a bit to be mesmerized by the sight. I swallowed hard. Since she's sitting on my desk, she's also leaning forward to reach me and her cleavage is showing off.. a little. The fully air-conditioned room temperature suddenly became warm. Control. I won't do anything stupid. "Ohh I fell off! Sorry, Sir." and now there's just a small space left between us because the 'fell'. Okay, darn it. I kissed her sweet lips while steadying her hips. I waited for the protest but nothing came. She even responded. Oh my little angel, I won't be so gentle this time. I carried her without breaking the kiss and let her sit on my desk.   Third Person's POV Seth trailed kisses on Jolina's neck while his hands are working inside her skirt and pulled her panties down to her knee without warning. Jolina gasped but Seth's lips silenced her by kissing torridly. Lustfully. Seth's hands explored her long legs caressing gently until it reached her peak. He slipped one finger in and out of her. "Ahh.." Jolina bit her lips. The other hand of Seth got into her blouse and unclasped her bra in a second squeezing her right breast while inserting another finger inside of her. Jolina messed up his hair. She felt her pulse raced and she became more aggressive. They both can't contain their desire for each other. In a glimpse, they were both naked. Seth motioned Jolina to lie down and kissed her again. "Now open your legs wide my little angel," both of them were panting and Jolina did as she was told. He looked at her entirely. "You're still undoubtedly beautiful, Jolina." and then he kissed her again passionately before thrusting in directly inside of her. Jolina flinched a bit as she dug her nails on his back feeling the pleasure. She moaned as Seth did not move inside her yet sort of teasing her. Seth.. I want more.." "As you wish baby.." then he thrust deeper in and out again as he continued with several paces. They're both sweating. "Damn, Jolina.. It feels so..good.. inside you... Ahh!" Seth exclaimed while his hands are supporting the sides of Jolina as he goes faster. "Ugh, s**t!" Jolina tried to tone down her moans when all of a sudden they heard a knock on the door. They both stopped and look at each other. "Sir? Can I come in?" "Uh, wait! Give me a few minutes!" Seth answered as they both panicked with wide eyes. He ran towards the door to lock it. "I'll go to the restroom." Jolina whispered as she picked up her clothes scattered on the floor. Seth nodded as he hurriedly put his clothes on and fixed himself to look decent. "Okay. I think I look fine." he ran his hand through his hair to fix it which Jolina messed up a while ago. He then opened the door. "Hello Sir. I just came here to give you your schedules for next week." the employee stated while her eyes roamed around a little. Did she even noticed or heard anything of what they did? Seth thought to himself. "Alright, thanks. You may go now." "You're welcome Sir." she smiled meaningfully before leaving and even Seth noticed those prying eyes.   Seth's POV Ugh. That was it. We weren't even finished yet for goodness sake. "Oh Sir. Why do you look disappointed?" I heard Jolina speak. When I look at her she's fully dressed with a playful smirk plastered on her pretty face. "Could you just call me Seth if it's just the two of us, Jolina?" "As you wish baby--- I mean, Seth." she stated playfully. I scratched the back of my head as I remembered what happened again earlier. We both laughed at ourselves on what we did. While we were just laughing carelessly, I thought of something. I stood up to go near her. I lowered my face down cornering her in front of me with both my hands on the side of the table. "Are you single, Miss Jolina Marie Montenegro?" I asked seriously. "I am, Mr. Seth Parker." "Will you formally go out with me then?" "Hmm.. why not?" I smiled happily with her answer. "Alright then. Dinner later?" "Sure thing." Jolina smiled back at me. She really has this wonderful smile. I've never expected any of these to happen. Before, all I could do was just look at her as she's the daughter of the owner while I'm just a mere employee. I know my position is high but still an employee regardless. You'll be mine Jolina Marie Montenegro. Not just physically but completely including your heart.   He walked pass by so many students down the hallway heading for his classroom. He received a few criticizing looks but never bothered them. Instead, he sat down and pulled out his earphones, listened to his music, and transferred his gaze outside the window where he sat beside. Everyone’s busy discussing about their own personal lives while his mind wandered far. This is the life of Aleksander Silva. A certified introvert. Meanwhile, a pretty petite girl with dark brown hair, entered the same classroom. She made a lot of good impressions despite the fact that it’s still her first day. She made friends so casually until she noticed Him at the back corner. This is Venice Sy. An outgoing type of person. She thought that he’s not overly attractive but somehow, she got curious by him. Everyone she knows at the moment told her to avoid him but she did the vice versa and approached him instead. Later on, someone poked his arm so his head turned to the person. It was Venice smiling at him. “Hi. I’m Venice. A transferee. Can we be friends?” she said cheerfully while extending her right hand for him to shake. He looked at it and up to her face. For a second his mind went blank before he shook his head and said “No.” That day marked the beginning of them. Venice is the type of person who’s quite determined to get what she wants and at that time, for some unknown reason, she wanted to be friends with him. Days passed, she tried again and again to get closer to Aleksander but failed to do so. Aleksander keeps on walking away. If not, he disregards her presence. How cruel could that be? Not too cruel really, when destiny intervenes. “Mr. Silva and Ms. Sy. I will assign the both of you on the topic ‘Introvert.’ Be sure to research on this very well.” The teacher said. Venice smiled triumphantly and grinned at Aleksander, who’s frowning by the way. He doesn’t hate her; he just doesn’t need her company that’s all. Anyone’s company. He finds it useless to get close to anyone. They would never understand anyway. “Here. You take pictures of the crowded people. They will be the extroverts. Then we’ll find a few people who are wandering alone and capture them. Okay? I’ll go there.” She said and walked a few feet away from him. He nodded and roamed his camera around the crowded sea of people until he captured her face. He adjusted his lenses to take a better angle of her face. Venice is sitting on a bench talking to an old lady. She laughed with the lady and he clicked his camera right on time. When he looked again, she’s already looking. Venice smiled and waved happily. He turned his back, looked down at his camera, and smiled ever so slightly. She’s actually cute. He thought secretly. A month passed by. Their friendship was slowly progressing. Aleksander now allows Venice to hang out with him whether it be in the library, classroom, or canteen. He often gives short side comments though Venice mostly does the talking, but it’s fine with her actually. She’s happy with their situation. For the very least. “Alek! Alek! Alek!” He raised an eyebrow at her. “Can we take a picture together please? Just one, I promise.” “No.” “Please?” And a few more pleasing. “Fine.” He agreed unwillingly. “Smile! In 3, 2,” and then she turned to the side and kissed his left cheek making his eyes go wide. Click. Her heartbeat quickened before she developed the courage to speak what’s been bothering her lately. “I think I’m liking you already, Alek.” And then she closed her eyes in anticipation for his answer. Right there his cheeks flushed. He knew she’s very straightforward but this is very alien to him. How can anyone possibly like a nobody? He’ll never be good enough for a girl like her. He thought. “Go like somebody else Venice. Not me. I’m nothing.” She opened her eyes, disappointed. Her heart broke as she watched him walk away. Again. A week passed and he didn’t show up. Venice got worried and went to his place, but he wasn’t there. The maids were also instructed not to tell her anything about his whereabouts. Another week went by, Aleksander finally showed up wearing a black beanie and a hooded jacket on their last class in the afternoon.  Finally, when it’s done, she hurriedly approached him. “Alek. Where have you been? I was so worried.” She said. He looked at him blankly before saying “It’s none of your business. Go away.” She couldn’t stand it anymore. All along she’s been so worried. Too worried and here he is. Disregarding her feelings again. Her chest tightened and her eyes started to water. “I hate you, Alek. I hate you but I still care. I want to know more about you but you won’t let me in. I hate you but at the same time, I like you so much it hurts. It hurts that even the simplest friendship, you can never give. I hate liking you but I can’t help it.” And there her tears started falling. Aleksander’s forehead creased as he massaged his temples. He shook his head. And then all of a sudden, he pulled her into a hug. She cried even more with this gesture. “I’m sorry. Please forgive me.” And then he kissed the top of her head.  Days, and weeks, passed. 2 months to be exact from the day they met. They became closer. Alek somehow managed to smile and laugh with Venice as they enjoy each other’s company. They held hands as they roam around the city. The way he looks at her is something else. He knew it already. He fell too. It’s not good. He shouldn’t but he did. But she must not know. ‘2 more months.’ Alek thought as he sat alone in his room while holding a picture of Venice on his hand. He smiled sadly and there it is again. The familiar pain that strikes him almost every morning. He cried out in agony as his hand held both the sides of his head while the picture fell on the floor. The pain is deafening he couldn’t even hear his loud cry. This is one of the most painful. “Sir Aleksander!” one maid shouted as the other called for his Doctor on the line. He opened his eyes slowly and judging by the white ceiling, he knew where he is again. His second residence. The hospital. “Mr. Silva. I suggest you should stop going to school anymore. It’s not healthy. We need to do another therapy since the cancer cells is spreading fast.” The family Doctor suggested. “Then do that therapy now so I can leave.” “But your Mother called—“ “Tell her to stop pretending that she cares. Tell her to get lost.” ‘I have to live a little longer.’ He thought before darkness consumed him for another therapy. Three days. Venice didn’t hear from him again, it gets frustrating. She impatiently sat on the couch of Alek’s living room as she waited for him to come down. Finally, she saw him and was about to ask questions, when she noticed his pale face. He’s wearing another beanie and a black sweater. At home. She attempted to reach out and touch his face but he backed away. “I’m alright.” He’s far from alright. Venice asked where he was the past three days. He answered that he was on a vacation. “Where?” “You don’t have to know. Don’t ask.” “Why can’t you tell me?” “Because you don’t have to know. I think I have to rest some more. You can leave now, Venice.” She looked at him painfully and shook her head in disbelief. “You love pushing me away. I’ll grant it this time.” And with that, she left. It is also the time for summer vacation. One more year, two more semesters and they’d graduate college. Venice went to Canada with her younger brother. She wanted to breathe. Away from Aleksander. He tried to contact her but she ignored all of it. She wants to test him as to how far can he go to reach out to her then she got disappointed when he stopped trying after two weeks. He gave up. That’s what she thought. Aleksander fell to his knees on the floor as he clutched his head with the unbearable pain. He cried loud and begged for it to stop. Nurses held him for support while the doctor injected him with a sedative. The doctor looked at him with pity. He knew he’s holding on. But he’s hanging by a thread. It’s just too painful to watch. Venice decided to finally check her email. Her face lit up as she saw one from Aleksander. It was sent to her a week ago. She clicked it and there was a greeting with a video attached. She clicked the play button. There she saw a smiling Alek wearing his jacket and beanie. “Hi Ven. I did this when I found out you left and sent just now. First off, I’m sorry for all the wrong things I’ve said. I’m sorry for being a coward. I wanted to follow you and tell you everything. Answer all your questions. Give you the answers that you deserve but… I can no longer travel far. My body is too weak, Ven. And that’s why I’m filming this for you to see just in case I’m no longer here to explain. I know you’re confused by now. But this is what I meant.” Alek removed his jacket to reveal his skinny body that was once healthy. He took off his beanie to reveal his hair that’s slowly falling out due to his therapies. Then he smiled sadly.  “I have Glioblastoma cancer. Stage 4.” Venice covered her mouth in shock. She doesn’t want to believe it. She couldn’t but it’s the truth. “I was diagnosed 8 years ago and right now, the doctor said I only have one and a half months to live but I don’t think I can make it that far. My brain tumor is getting worse each day; I can’t bear it.” He paused and felt the stinging pain again. “Ah. There it is again. I won’t talk much anymore. I just want you to know that you had me on your first smile and you got my heart when you frowned the second I turned you down.” Aleksander laughed at the thought as he reminisced their first encounter. “You taught me how to live life and not just survive. You made me feel wanted and worthy. I’m sorry for being a jerk but know that I treasured every second that you spent with me. I wanted to live longer to be with you, but I can’t fight fate. This is it for me. Thank you for being the light of this introverted man, Ven. I love you.” She cried and cried. Over and over. Venice went back to see him. She hoped that he’s okay. But nothing changed the moment she stepped inside his house. She cried, for the nth time as she ran at the center, where he is. In a coffin. Sleeping peacefully without any signs of pain. Her chest tightened. Her soul refused to accept the fact that he’s gone. The man she loves, is gone. She fell to the floor and cried hard. Regrets and sorrow. That’s all she felt. She never even had the last chance to make him feel that she loved him. That she’s loving him. Too late. ** Venice stood up in front of the class to explain their topic on ‘Introvert.’ “Hello everyone. I am here to explain our topic alone, since… since my partner already went to heaven.” She smiled and looked up to control her tears and then she continued as everyone gives her an encouraging look to go on. “So this one, is for me and Aleksander Silva. I will summarize our report and explain about introverts.  They are the type of people who prefers to do everything alone without anyone else’s help. They enjoy more time alone rather than being with a group of people. They’re comfortable with their own selves but they know how to care and love truly, and hurt deeply but the sad thing is, they keep it to themselves. You’ll think that you know that person well, but no, introverts only give out a small piece of the truth, a small piece of themselves, without you noticing. As for Alek’s case, he never wanted to get close to anyone not because he wanted to."
