Tyrone Salvation's point of view.
"Okay, tell the client to meet me at Taste Of French, yung malapit sa office ni Blythe."
I said between the line.
"Yes po Sir, as soon as possible po."
My Secretary said then I ended the call.
I'm sure Blythe will be surprise when she see me. I'll just drop by to one of our client for a quick meeting, then pupuntahan ko na siya in her office.
As I'm driving I can't get off the smile plastered on my face, the thought of surprising Blythe was really different for me. Parang one new stage to sa relationship namin.
I stop the engine of my car then grab my keys.
I entered the flower shop that looks like has a European theme, without further a do. Then one of the crew approached me.
"Good afternoon, what's your best sellers?"
I asked as I scan the flowers that surrounded us.
"Yes Sir? For what occasion po? And for your, grand mother, mother, aunt, sister, girlfri-"
I cut her words then kinuha ko ang isa sa mga bulaklak na naka tawag ng pansin ko.
Its a rose species with pale yellow flowers and I think its native to western Asia, since the flower shop is European. Don't get me wrong I don't know anything about flowers.
"For my wife."
I said then look at the yellow roses.
"Good choice Sir! That's Rosa hemisphaerica also known as the sulphur rose is one of our best seller."
She said then do some salestalk.
"Okay get me two dozen of this."
I said to her and she happily obliged.
"Thank you po Sir!"
She said after she organized those flowers.
I paid it then jogged, palapit sa kotse ko, because I'm really running late for that appointment of mine.
As soon as I reached the Taste Of French I grab my phone then entered the restaurant.
"Here Sir!"
I heard my client called me from behind, so lumapit na ako sa kanya.
"Good afternoon Sir, sorry for the inconvenience."
I said to him then extend my hands.
"No its okay Mr. Salvacion, have a seat please."
He said then offer the vacant seat in front of him.
"Thank you Sir."
I answered to his approach.
"Before our meeting start, let's order first is that okay Mr. Salvacion?"
He asked me.
"Yes it is."
I said then he gestured one of the waiter to come.
"Blythe!!"
Then I heard that shout that got my attention.
I scan the place until I found my wife who's laughing when I saw her. I didn't notice her earlier, she and her companion are four tables away from us. And because of the distance I can't even hear any single sentence from them.
Why she didn't tell me na mauuna na pala siyang mag lunch? Akala ko ba sabay kami? I check my phone hoping that he texted me about this, pero halos mapudpod na ang daliri ko kakahanap sa message niya pero wala.
Do I need to call her to check or not? Am I too clingy if I did that?
She's with Kyla, and two guys.
"How bout you Mr. Salvacion?"
Then I'm back with my senses, tapos na palang mag order ang client ko yet lutang pa rin ako.
"Uhm gave me Basil Salmon Terrine and Crème brûlée."
I said to the waiter who's jotting down my order.
"Basil Salmon Terrine and Crème brûlée."
He repeat what I just said.
"Merci beaucoup, Monsieur."
[Thank you very much, Mister]
He said then get the menu from the table.
" Où sont les toilettes?"
[Where is the toilet?]
I ask him french since he spoke french, I just need to calm myself there, para naman hindi makita ng client ko.
"S-sorry Sir h-hindi po talaga ako marunong n-ng French."
Sabi nung waiter.
What do I expect? Eh, ang tinuturo lang sa kanila ay greetings like good morning, good day, thank you, come back again, and so on and so on.
Paano na lang pag may French speaker na nag punta rito? Bahala nga sila, this is not my problem anymore.
"Okay fine, you can go back to work."
I said then he left.
Going back to Blythe, I saw how the guy besides her links his arm to Blythe. Now it push my buttons to call her.
" C'est nul!"
[It sucks!]
"What is it Mr. Salvacion?"
My client ask, did I just speak my thought loud?
"Nothing Sir, can I just take a second to call my wife. Sasabihin ko lang na mag la-lunch na ako."
I said to him.
"Yeah, its okay call her."
He gladly approved.
So I slide my phone open then touch the dial icon. In just a minute I heard the ring of her phone in the line.
"Hello?"
She answered.
"Where are you?"
I automatically said, I don't have much patience to greet her.
"Sino 'yan Blythe?"
I can saw Kyla, asking her something, and loud and clear I heard it between the line.
"Si Kyla, ba iyon?"
I asked pretending not to know anything.
I can see Blythe, gaving a hand gesture to Kyla, and mouthing something enough for me not to hear in the line. She also intended to cover her phone, para mas lalong diko marinig.
I wonder what she's talking about.
"Ah, oo, nasa office ko siya ngayon may inutos ako."
She lied, I can't believe na may sinungaling akong asawa.
I feel something on the other side of my brain, so my instinct is to asked her again because I'm not that convince about Blythe, lying to me.
"You sure?"
I ask her again, hoping she'll change her answer.
"A-ah, oo, n-naman."
She answer between the other line.
"Okay eat your lunch, mag pa sabay ka na kay Kyla, para may kasabay kang kumain hindi na kita mapupuntahan I have an urgent lunch meeting."
I said to her.
"Okay, ingat ka."
She said then I ended the call.
Liar! How could she lie on me?
I thought we're good, because we're f*****g good earlier!
I just can't believe the fact that she lied to me, okay call me overacting but I just cant help it. Seeing her laugh with other man sucks. Now she lied, then next she'll betray me, then she'll cheat, next she'll f*****g leave me hanging.
