They continue to his car. He opens the door to the passenger side.
He speaks to her in a low commanding voice. "Get in the car. I'm driving you home."
"You don't get to tell me what to do." She snarls.
"You will get in the car or I will make a scene."
"You wouldn't." She squints.
"Wag ako. You know I will, Megan. There is no way in hell I will let you get in that guy's car right before my eyes." He tells her determinedly.
The look in his eyes tells her he means what he just said.
So she gets in the car.

He sighs and looks over to her. Her arms are crossed over her body, hugging her purse. Her luggage is in the trunk. She is frowning as she looks out the window. He fears her graceful neck might break if she turns anymore to look away from him.
She's been quiet for the entire fifteen minutes of their drive. Any questions or comments that he directed to her was met with nothing but icy cold silence as if an invisible wall stood between them, blocking the sound of his voice.
"Back to being invisible it is." He shakes his head and focuses back on the road. He is true to his word. He plans to drive her straight home but he also hopes to talk to her even just for a little while then maybe she would consider introducing him to her dads.
He knows where she lives or approximately so. His uncle said they are neighbors. He's been to his Dad's house. He lived there three weeks ago for a week when he moved home from California.
She gets her phone from her purse when it rings, he snatches it away on the third ring.
"What the hell?!" She glares at him with her mouth agape for a few seconds before she speaks again. "So you don't only abduct me, you also rob me from my phone?!"
"I'll give it back."
"When?"
"After we talk. Just don't call anyone yet. Was that him?" He says.
"None of your business." She rolls her eyes and looks away again.
"You're in my car. Everything you do here is my business." He says, slightly raising his voice.
She turns to him with a stern gaze. "A car you threatened me to get into. I'm pretty sure that's kidnapping."
"So first, I was a jerk, then a cellphone thief and now a kidnapper? Ano pa ha?" He asks bitterly. Hearing such insulting and hateful words from her has been breaking his heart to pieces.
"I don't have to tell you." She looks at him with a dead-serious stare. "You know."
Her eyes speak of a great hatred towards him as she furiously brushes away some angry tears that flowed from them.
He draws a slow deep breath and blinks back his tears, beating back the gnawing pain in his chest and the lump in his throat.
How can those pretty eyes that used to gaze at him with love be filled with such scorn?
He knows how. He caused that.
He parks in front of his Dad's house. He assumes her house is the one with the brown gate next to it. He remembers his Dad said that's where his boss lives.
Although she's been trying her best not to cry since he reappeared in her life without a warning on the plane, she is now sobbing softly as she keeps angrily wiping her tears away.
She unlocks her seatbelt and puts her hand on the lever to open the door. He quickly reaches over to stop her.
With his hand on hers, she turns to him. Their eyes meet, their faces only a hair's breadth away from each other, hearts pounding in their chests.
Her breath catches in her throat as his free hand cups her cheek and his thumb wipes a tear.
She can feel herself melting in his touch.
"Meg, please, let's talk." He pleads softly.
His warm breath brushes her lips as he speaks and she is taken back to their first kiss, on top of the Empire State, one cold autumn evening.
He smiles gently and closes his eyes as he inches his face even closer, resting his forehead on hers. "Please..."
She wants to push him away but somehow she remains still, warm but still hurting inside.
Their noses are now touching, he could feel how close her lips are to his. The lips he longed to capture once again and dreamed of kissing these past years.
He runs his thumb across her lower lip and she shivers.
"My love..." He whispers as he moves his lips closer but before he can close the gap between them, she finally finds the strength to push him back with surprising force.
"No." She quickly opens the door and runs.
