Suzy Tereus and Commander Faro of the North

Suzy Tereus and Faro then left the restaurant they ate dinner in and headed out to walk around the Country.

So what do you know about me, Suzy?

Faro asked her as they began their walking.

I know you’re the North Commander; you’re pretty strict I heard, but I don’t know if that’s because of your lack of sleep, I know you’re a swordsman since I saw you fight in the battle against the tribes, and I also know you’re a Steel being because of how you can take arrows so easily even though those arrows are enough to scratch me.

Suzy explained as she follows Faro.

I know that me being a Metal being makes me flexible while being durable, and I know that the faster I move, the flexible I become, though that can be a double-edged blade since I can heat up too when moving faster, that’s how I’m getting more flexible, and the worst part of it is that I can’t feel the heat so I have to check myself by looking at my hands to see if I’m heating up, I think the last time I heated up is when I faced those Demons when I’m still in the UNE.

Suzy had a thorough thought while walking around nighttime.

That’s closer than I thought, but it seems that you only know that same thing as the warriors of this Country, I live in one of the Seven Villages around us, the Tauzin Village, I used to be an average warrior, defend, attack, 10 years later, I’m here, I’m 5 years into being the North Commander.

Faro told her, he was surprised by how close Suzy knows about him.

So he’s also from the Seven Villages like me? Though for me, I have already left 10 years of my life away, just to start all over again, that stupid Twin brother.

Suzy thought, she got irritated after she remembers again.

I know the Commanders of this Country, I saw them fight and work before, that’s why, and also, I would not fully and closely know someone unless I fight them myself.

Suzy said, responding to his words.

Do you want to try that, Suzy? It would be an honor too.

Faro asked her.

I would be honored as well seeing as I’ve never sparred a Commander before, do you want to do the sparring here?

Suzy said, asking him if he wants to spar in the middle of the road.

No, we have a better section for that, and since we’re close to it, we should visit it.

Faro answered Suzy’s question.

After that, they continued their walking; it only took a few minutes of walking to arrive there.

In one of the North’s sparring sections.

Suzy asked him.

This is where I am always training; many warriors go here every time to spar with me, but none of them are strong enough to even beat me, all kinds of warriors, that’s why I chose to walk us here.

Faro answered her question.

This place is quite spacious.

Suzy said while looking around the sparring section.

Faro asked her.

None, I think that an individual’s capacity is maxed without a weapon, and also, I know how you can compress your skills to match someone’s abilities in battle, try not to do that in this sparring, I don’t care if I lose instantly since I can see how I lost.

Suzy answered his question; they then went to the middle of the sparring section.

Faro then went to fighting stance, Suzy as well, although Suzy’s fighting style is not really a fighting style, but rather a posture, she is just standing sideways at Faro while looking at him.

Her posture is not even helpful or useful in combat, has she been doing this posture in fights for many years now?

Faro thought, asking himself as he was so confused and irritated why she’s doing such posture in sparring.

Is he attacking first or is he waiting for me?

Suzy thought, asking herself, waiting for Faro to attack first.

After several seconds ticked from the clock in the sparring section, Suzy first attacked after getting impatient from waiting.

Faro braced himself for impact since he knows that the two of them clashing against one another will definitely cause a lot of force, and noise, and after Suzy entered Faro’s range, she began the attacking, obviously, Faro fought back, they then exchanged blows, with both their skills in close combat being on the higher level, both of them are having a hard time hitting each other, and since their body is made of Steel and Metal, the noise and impact are much louder.

She’s not as strong, but she’s fast, that’s where I’m having trouble, or is that not it?

Faro thought, asking himself why she can fight back harder and faster while fighting her.

It is Suzy’s flexible body; it has always been helpful for Suzy ever since she learned how to utilize them both with a weapon or without.

He’s very dense and even I can barely get a hit in because he’s very tacky.

Suzy thought while fighting him.

After a few minutes, Faro noticed it.

So that’s it, she’s more flexible since she’s a Metal being, I am a Steel being but I can’t do that since I’m denser than her, well, no matter, I can still fight faster enemies.

Faro thought, he then resorted to his usual strategy on how to fight faster enemies.

But he did not expect Suzy to counter it.

He’s changing combat style!? It’s my chance!

Suzy thought, surprised after seeing him do it.

Suzy is waiting for Faro to fight her with a Speed Counter technique, where he will have to counter Suzy’s speed and beat her, but Faro didn’t know Suzy was waiting for that, and when he did, Suzy used a Strength focused strategy, and began hitting Faro in his stomach and shoulder, weakening her.

Sht! She baited me!

Faro thought, shocked by her plan.

Although he was too late to fight back, although he managed to hit her a few times, Suzy was still victorious and dropped Faro down to the ground.

That was surprising.

Faro said.

You did better than what I think you’d do if I do that trick, it’s not easy to pull off since you’re very resilient to light attacks, but I managed to fight you better than I could since I know you’re a Steel being.

Suzy responded, she then lends him a hand.

Faro took her arm and stood up, Suzy then pulled him up.

I guess that I am still far weaker than the Heroine Suzy.

Faro said, teasing her.

Stop that, you’re not bringing that up now; anyhow, what do we do now?

Suzy responded, she then asked Faro.

Let’s continue our walk, we still have a lot of time, I also want to look around the opposite area of the country, it’s been many weeks since I’ve been there.

Faro replied to Suzy’s question.

I see that you’re busy as well.

Suzy said.

They then continued their walking in the night after leaving the sparring section, they continued their talking, and because both of them were raised, to be honest, they didn’t have anything to hide from each other, they just told each other their lives, of course, their secrets are kept to themselves because for someone like Suzy, being involved in one of the World’s dangerous group, the UNE, and her past with her brother, she would rather keep them to herself.

And after a few hours of walking around, they managed to pass over Suzy’s apartment.

We arrived here unintentionally, I could’ve sworn I memorized these neighborhoods many years ago, I guess I haven’t been around at night too much.

Suzy thought, surprised that she didn’t notice where they are.

Faro, this is where I live, I somehow didn’t notice we’re here.

Suzy told him.

How did that happen? This apartment?

Faro asked her.

Yes, I guess that just shows that I don’t go around at night, I just sleep and rest every night in my room, most of the time I go and meditate in it as well.

Suzy replied, answering Faro’s questions.

Are you heading home?

Faro asked her.

Are you tired? Do you want to sleep in for tonight? I do own my room there since the apartment is very generous about it, I was persistent to rent it, but she told me that it is pay-to-own for me.

Suzy said as she heads into the apartment while pulling Faro with her.

This is so fast.

Faro thought, surprised by how the turns of events unfold quicker.

He intended for this to happen, but he didn’t expect for it to be this quick, that’s why he wanted to go around the South section of the country.

I’m tired, but why is Suzy pulling me in, I’m going to follow you if you say so, but are we going inside?

Faro asked her.

Yes, we are going inside, I’m tired too; besides, your house is in the North, right? You should get some rest in my room.

Suzy said, answering Faro’s question.

In her room…

Faro thought, he’s highly excited about this.

I wonder if it’s weird to bring someone I just met this day in my room, though I’m tired, so he might take his chances anyway, let’s just get this done before I get too tired.

Suzy thought, questioning her decisions.

Though the birth rate is high in Zao Thesis Continent, this isn’t how it usually happens, Suzy can deactivate her reproductive organs with her mind so that’s why she’s not worried, but it’s only 98%, there’s a 2% chance she can get inseminated.

When they entered her room…

Your room is spacious, is it a luxurious room?

Faro asked her after entering and seeing her room.

I think it is since after I looked around the lower floors’ rooms, it is one, anyway, let’s get some rest.

Suzy replied as she invites him inside.

I can rest on your sofa; your sofa is big enough for me to sleep in.

Faro said.

Don’t be a chicken, my bed is bigger than my sofa so get over here with me, I don’t mind, I’d feel really bad if you sleep there.

Suzy responded, she then invited him to her bed.

Are you sure? I understand personal space.

Faro asked.

Why? Isn’t this what you want? That’s why you took us to the South so that you can take advantage of me inviting you here, come over here now, I am not immature with something like this.

Suzy asked him back as she dares him.

Faro then gave in and heads on the bed with Suzy, and gets close to her.

I guess I’m caught red-handed, I’m sorry about that; I just don’t want to be a little suspicious, though I wouldn’t mind sleeping on your sofa since even I don’t own such an expensive sofa, that thing is probably more expensive than my bed.

Faro said as he admits his mistake.

But this bed is enough, shut up and follow my lead, I won our sparring.

Suzy told him, as she took the lead in making love.

After that, they slept together in the bed, made noise all night, but the apartment’s staffs made sure no one is around her room from 3 rooms away since they know this will happen sooner or later.

And so, a night has passed and Suzy and Faro are asleep, the staffs of the apartment have changed shifts and the others headed back to their homes to rest up for their next night shifts.

As the Sun rises, Faro woke up, but Suzy isn’t next to her, he stood up from the bed and went and looked for her in the room, apparently, he didn’t know that the room has another room to the right, and Suzy was there, she’s currently doing her morning routine and exercise.

So this is where you do your morning routine? This area is a whole room bigger; this may be the first time for an apartment to do something like this.

Faro told her as he asked her; he was amazed and surprised about this second room.

That’s why it’s hidden, everyone thinks that someone already had this room, but I owned it already since I asked for it, I needed it for doing these daily routines, anyhow, do you want to join me? I feel like you needed it after last night.

Suzy answered Faro’s question, she then invited him over.

She’s mocking me? Does this mean we’re now close or something?

Faro thought, asking himself.

It seems like your daily routine is the same as mine, might as well, but I will do some when we didn’t do a few of the routines I do on my own.

Faro said as he accepted her offer.

That works for me, I can get to see your daily routine too.

Suzy said.

They then did their morning routine for more than one hour, usually, daily routines are only one hour or so, but since they’re both doing it at the same time, they did more than one hour.

They then took a bath together after they’re done, Faro feels awkward, but Suzy isn’t since she’s a lady.

After they’re done, they headed out to get some breakfast before heading to work in the North Gate, helping the warriors there train for the Gallant Battle.
